Samdalri sounds like the perfect follow-up for us castaway diva fans who will soon be going through withdrawal.

Orange_Lily23

Same thought! Though I'll probably skip the first week, I'll be too much in my Castaway Diva finale feels to have energy for a new show the same days lol 😂

awkristina

this is such a mood 😂😭 though i feel like in order to calm my poor little aching kdrama depression-ified heart that i’ll have to start Samdalri… right after a good long cry 🫠

Wulffricc

Shin Hye-sun wait me. I will be there.

MelinaJuliasCottage

If Ji Chang Wook does parkour, i will be there too. (Especially if he goes as expressive as in backstreet rookie.)

Honest-Selection4343

We r being blessed.. with 2 Shin-Hyen sun dramas this year !

Telos07

I’m welcoming **Welcome to Samdalri** to my watchlist with open arms.

MelinaJuliasCottage

And jazz hands

AlfredusRexSaxonum

my unemployed ass really gonna be watching like 20 dramas this month. Cause I'll be starting like three of these too...

[deleted]

That was me but just got a new job and watching dramas after work and my days off

Honest-Selection4343

Haha

kwang_ja

I have the worst holiday blues but this December might just be alright ❤️

FlyingFlyofHell

It's a great week. I will be watching all four of these I think.

[deleted]

My husband and wife, both in the same drama! So excited for Welcome to Samdal-ri!

xXcocomademoisellexX

Song Kang must be adored at Netflix to have back to back shows with My Demon and Sweet Home 2! He must be making them a lot of money. I love it!

stillnotking

His nickname is "Son of Netflix".

Silver-Bus5724

His nickname should be So Hot

legac5

It is so hard for me to search kdramas on Prime. Does anyone else have that problem?

Electronic_Piano9385

The Prime search function is not the best, and the last show I had trouble finding was Bora Deborah, because it was actually called True to Love If you scroll down far enough there’s a category called popular Korean titles, and I don’t see it there. I’ve liked all the dramas there in the hope that it will trigger their algorithm to suggest more Korean content.

kdramajames

Perfect example that I was just about to recommend

DawgMom2018

It is not pulling up. Also when I look up the drama on google, it is not listing Amazon as where to watch. I do see it on the really basic poster, so I will try again later. UGH

legac5

So annoying, right?

guttertroll

yes!! It's frustrating, I wish I had any tips to find things better.

itsaleirybug

If you look up an actor/actress from the drama it'll come up, that's what's worked for me

lipstickch4teau

“Welcome to Samdalri” will be the perfect weekend watch 🙇‍♀️

ginchan_2020

damn it's going to be a busy week for me 😭

otakuishly

Send help!! I just don’t have enough hours in my day to watch all of these. More sleepless nights????

imapigoinkoinkk

Tell Me That You Love Me is a beautiful calming watch. Fans of a more mature liking will enjoy this. Only had episode 1 but very much looking forward to the rest.

MirrorMask88

I'm all for all the romance dramas they are releasing right now, but I worry that the first half of next year will be very romance light. It's fine if it is, I'm really behind in cdramas.

giovannisguillotine

There will be plenty of romance dramas first half of next year too. I’m looking forward to Doctor Slump and Queen of Tears, especially.

DawgMom2018

I have been waiting forever for season 2 of Pachinko

giovannisguillotine

Should also come out first half of next year. Last I heard filming was done a while ago.

DawgMom2018

yes - they moved it to beginning of next year due to packed schedule end of the year. Good decision!

Honest-Selection4343

Is there a release date for Dr. Slump?

[deleted]

Eagerly waiting for SWEET HOME SEASON 2

PerspectiveNo24

I'm awaiting *Welcome to Samdalri*, and for *My man is Cupid.* The trailer caught me inquisitive. I was kinda waiting for Shin Hye Sun badly on the drama screen. Especially since i felt her SYIMNL felt a bit underwhelming for me. I really hope she knocks the charts off with tremendous ratings for her chemistry with Ji Chang Wook. <3

atzee

Pleasantly surprised to learn that Nana has a new show out!

bigbigguy

I hope Netflix does a great season 1 recap of Sweet Home, it's been so long that I only remember bits of it

twoods1980

I thought with Castaway Diva and Perfect Marriage Revenge finishing up this week I would have time to binge Shooting Stars, but I guess not!

Honest-Selection4343

Loved Shooting stars !

Eloise-Yasmin-520

I am excited for most of these and looking forward to Tell me that you love me , I liked the original Japanese drama it was based on. Is the Eng Sub version for tell me that you love me also airing on the same day ?

capthyeong

yes. eps are available on Disney+ after the KR broadcast.

elflamingo

I just looked it up and can't seem to find it on Disney+. Is anyone else able to find it?

capthyeong

Only available in 6 countries, US excluded.

Butterflykiz

It’s on Hulu in the US

Eloise-Yasmin-520

Thank you.

duckinator09

Did you watch the Japanese drama? Just wanna set my expectations right because I kind of like the premise. Are there any sinister politics/murder/family inheritance feuds/fantasy elements in the Japanese version, or was it solely a romance drama? Also, did the original have a happy ending?

Eloise-Yasmin-520

The original version or The Japanese drama was aired on 1995 so its a pretty old drama but that year it had swiped all the academy and television awards in Japan. Its title is : Romaji: Aishiteiru to Ittekure Japanese: 愛していると言ってくれ The acting is fantastic ,Etsushi Toyokawa is an excellent actor just no words to describe. While its a good drama for its time , I did feel disappointed with this Jdrama's rushed ending and last few episodes were not as excellent as the starting and mid , not just the case for Jdramas though even Kdramas to this date some of them screw up last few episodes and their ending . Though to be honest with how excellent it was in the first 8 episodes the last few episodes were rushed , illogical plot holes and honestly mid ending. I wouldn't have hated it if they got to that mid ending in a logical way but nope for all the excellent writing it had it turned topsy turvy towards the end. I wished I had stopped at episode 8 and made that the ending to the series, If you wish for a happy ending stop there and don't watch the rest to save yourself from grief and anger that the rest of the episodes might give you. Still overall it was an excellent watch if you keep aside the last four episodes . Maybe The kdrama version can makeup a better version this time which is what I am hoping for I hope they don't stick to the horrible plot this jdrama had in their ending episodes which is episode 9-12. . But if you are a fan of tragedy ending then you can watch the entire Jdrama.

duckinator09

Ah was hoping for a good new romance melodrama to watch. Guess I'll wait till the end of the kdrama to see what everyone says about it. I definitely would hate it if it followed the jap version's ending.

asddsalkjjkl

> jap Just fyi if you didn't already know, that's considered a pejorative term. If you want to abbreviate Japan/Japanese, Jpn is usually used instead

duckinator09

First time hearing about this. Probably only applies in the western countries. Definitely not a slur from where I'm from (Singapore) or most places in Asia lol. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap#:\~:text=Jap%20is%20an%20English%20slur,suffered%20during%20World%20War%20II](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap#:~:text=Jap%20is%20an%20English%20slur,suffered%20during%20World%20War%20II).

ObamaNation2018

Yo my Friday-Saturday slate is stacked as it is and now it’s l gonna need to add another drama 😭😭😭

keybladeoftheheart

"Sweet Home" is the reason I started watching K-Dramas and it holds a special place in my heart ❤️I am so excited tor season 2, I've been waiting for so long!!! 🥺The cast is incredible and the action seems 100 times more intense than season 1 🔥 "Welcome to Samdalri" is probably gonna become a comfort show for me, I know it. 🫰Shin Hye Sun is one of the most talented Korean actresses, she never disappoints. I am overjoyed JCW finally has the partner he deserves. I'm in love with this pair, I've only seen them together in the trailers and photos but they shine with electrifying chemistry.✨ I can't wait for them to make me smile like an idiot and cry like a baby. Both of them have the unique ability to make viewers really feel what their characters are feeling. "My Man Is Cupid" looks fun 💘 I'm definitely giving it a chance, I'm always down for a supernatural romance 😉

Ok_Wash4997

Can’t find tell me you love me on Disney+ UK? Is it just me or it’s not airing here

Jumpers_Bee

It’s on there now, thankfully :)

Silver-Bus5724

I‘m so on for Welcome to Samdalri. Both leads are great, I hope the plot is good…

katherine197_

Tell Me That You Love Me started off so strong 😍😍😍😍

Leggoleggo1111

My man ji chang wook decided to select amazing scripts this year. If you wish upon me, beyond evil and welcome to samdal-ri. Samdal-ri is giving fresh fruit juice vibe, defo gonna watch it. Just finished watching sweethome 2, l couldn't take my hands off the skip button 💀

stillnotking

I somehow missed the hype for *Sweet Home* season 2. I liked the first one all right, although I thought *Happiness* was a much better version of a similar story. Guess I'm not surprised they made S2 given how popular it was. I may get around to it eventually. *Welcome to Samdalri* looks promising, and *My Man Is Cupid* might be fun.

raaheyahh

Not a fan of split seasons and multi season kdramas. It was always something I hated about American/western shows that has made its way into Korean dramas as well. Looking forward to my man is Cupid.

Electronic_Piano9385

So far **Tell Me That You Love Me** is on Disney+ but region-locked with no English subtitles

12amonreddit

I caught it on D+ and it comes with Eng subs.

Electronic_Piano9385

I could only get Korean subtitles when I looked just now using VPN set to Korea. I’ll try again later

12amonreddit

Ah, I’m guessing if you set your VPN to Korea, it might up the Korean subs. Try Singapore instead.

Electronic_Piano9385

Singapore also only has Korean subtitles. I’ll give it a few days and try again

bigbigguy

Set it to Canada, we have English subs on it

Electronic_Piano9385

I’m in Canada and couldn’t find it when I looked yesterday. It’s there now 🤦‍♀️ Thanks everyone

MathematicianFair307

You just have to be patient.. I’m also in Canada but have to to wait 6 hours after it airs in Korea

arcturuz78

too many new dramas that i want to watch, can't catch up already

FlatlineNine

I'm really looking forward to Sweet Home 2, but I feel like I'm expecting too much. I'm a little worried about what will happen if it turns out to be more boring than I thought. And my favorite character in S1 is already dead.

Gold_Bus_3568

Why isn’t there a weekly post for Tell me you love me?

Telos07

[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/KDRAMA/comments/185xwq3/tell_me_that_you_love_me_episodes_1_2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) it is!
