To add on
Toa had/has a terrible mindset where he just believes some flashy technique/ his size is more then enough
While it has been stated multiple times Julius is more then just brawn
Dude is a smart fighter
He wouldn’t leave his body open just like that in the way Toa would
I believe Kanoh can walk away the winner but..dude is gonna have to be smart about it
It could just be an important moment. Rolon landing an unseen full power counter directly on Toa's liver seems like a decisive blow.
If the first half of the match is Lolong trying to get through Toa's durability, the most memorable blow of the match would be the first to seriously fuck up Toa.
Yeah, I can imagine him constantly poking Toa with hit and run tactics. Trying to get past his damage reducing and redirecting moves until realizing the pineapple can’t use either of those two defensive techniques when HE is the one attacking! So Lolong waits, parries, and ends it by DIGGING an counter elbow to the liver.Honestly not that crazy a win scenario in a manga where Cosmo can beat Akoya lol
Rolón negdiffed diffed Toa. Jurota was his hardest match in the Purgatory and he hasn't had a hard fight for a long time before Ohma. So probably since Kuroki when he was much weaker as I doubt that Purgatory Jurota was much of a fight either. Rolon should be able to oneshot him.
> Rolón negdiffed diffed Toa.
Eh don’t like making claims like this without seeing the full fight. It was more likely mid diff given how annoying Toa’s build and kit is
> Eh don’t like making claims like this without seeing the full fight. It was more likely mid diff given how annoying Toa’s build and kit is
What was shown was Rolón casually oneshotting Toa.
Problem with this logic is one guy has the ability to reduce damage and redirect hits, and the other is a master of foresight so it’s completely possible neither of them had managed to land anything significant during their match before this point. Again. We didn’t see the whole thing
The context is Medel is talking about how Lolong beat Toa, it’s more likely that this is the hit that finished the match. Especially because they were talking about how Lolong was out statted by Toa, and Lolong is then seen punching Toa in a place where no muscle can gives protection.
I agree with you. Medel Is talking about winning the match vs Toa, it doesn't make sense to not show the relevant strike at hand if it has nothing to do with how he won.
Eh, Lolong said he hadnt had a fight on even footing in a long time until Ohma, with the only other person being Kuroki which indeed was a long ass time ago, well before the TOA fight, so i think we can infer the diff off that.
Brother what? Agito is one of the hardest hitters in the verse. The only people definitively above him in that regard are Shen, Waka, Julius, and Mukaku (for turtling that one guy).
> Brother what? Agito is one of the hardest hitters in the verse. The only people definitively above him in that regard are Shen, Waka, Julius, and Mukaku (for turtling that one guy).
Rolón hits much harder based on their feats. Let's see how much damage can Agito do to Julius with normal strikes and the Dragon Shot. Toa tanked a surprise (no limp) bodyblow Gott-Totter but got oneshotted by a normal bodyblow punch from Rolón.
Julius put points in intelligence to access buffs to brute strength that aren't available to pure STR players. Toa put his spare points into wisdom to get access to magic.
Correction Julius put points into INT so he grab one level in Wizard to get Mage Armour. Toa put it into WIS and DEX to multiclass with Monk to get Deflect Missile.
> Gott Toter one-shotted Toa, and Julius had another 2 years to evolve.
Julius should use gott-totter kicks as his new technique. He might even beat Agito this way like Wakatsuki did to him.
The Toa downplay continues because people don’t remember the actual things that happened in that fight besides him losing it in the end.
That dude manhandled Julius until he got hit with the asspull knowledge check.
I don’t even think Julius would win that rematch.
You people saw this dude completely mauled this man in a one sided stomp then get slapped by the plot punch™.
Seriously go reread Julius vs Toa
It’s like calling Jurota a jobber after his KvP match because after Hayami gotta ragdolled over and over again he finally landed a solid attack that sealed the match.
Anyway I hope Julius wins this fight but some of you people are have selective amnesia.
1. Toa is a dumbass
2. This was canonically 2 years ago. Trying to hold Julius to the same level as his KvP arc version is disingenuous at best and moronic at worst until proven otherwise.
There isn't a reason, it's pretty obvious that Kanoh is gonna win. Terrible matchup for Julius + Kanoh is coming off of a loss and Julius is coming off of a win. Julius can lose and not be a jobber. Kanoh will be a meme if he loses.
This isn't a delusiom, it's literaly impossible for agito to lose. Because it doesn't matter what julius does kanoh should 100% be able to just become water and dodge. And agito making a mistake against julius is not happening, julius does not have the battle experience to come up with what kuroki did to catch kanoh off guard
> Toa getting ko by being hit in that area is complete BS by a middle weight guy
Rolón has freakish punching power for his size. He seems to have superheavy level strikes.
Gaolong will beat Justin.
Agito will beat Julius.
Lolong will beat reformed fisherman looking dude.
Lolong will beat Agito.
Finals: Gaolong vs. Lolong (Hoping for Gaolong but Lolong will prob take the W).
Justin beating Kaolan would be weird writing considering we saw how easily Agito beat Okubo. It doesn't seem like Justin is supposed to be way stronger than Okubo as Okubo is like his mentor/trainer/rival. But who knows maybe the writer wants to send some type of message about emphasizing the importance of advantageous vs. disadvantageous match up fighting styles. It'd just be weird having a mid tier beat a top tier.
Ramons a wild card so that one's tougher but I think lolons been hyped up so much yet to secure a single on screen W that he's 100% due for some Ws.
1: Agito definitely can win 2: This is a mid-fight flashback, not the entire fight 3: No evidence to draw conclusions on difficulty
To add on Toa had/has a terrible mindset where he just believes some flashy technique/ his size is more then enough While it has been stated multiple times Julius is more then just brawn Dude is a smart fighter He wouldn’t leave his body open just like that in the way Toa would I believe Kanoh can walk away the winner but..dude is gonna have to be smart about it
Why would this be a mid fight flashback? It makes more sense to draw the end of the fight as a flashback, or at least close to the end of the fight
It could just be an important moment. Rolon landing an unseen full power counter directly on Toa's liver seems like a decisive blow. If the first half of the match is Lolong trying to get through Toa's durability, the most memorable blow of the match would be the first to seriously fuck up Toa.

No what was shown was the very end of a fight

Agito doesn't hit anywhere as hard as Rolón but he has super formless now.
Brother what? Agito is one of the hardest hitters in the verse. The only people definitively above him in that regard are Shen, Waka, Julius, and Mukaku (for turtling that one guy).
Agreed people need to drop this head canon that the fight between the Lolong and TOA was ended in one shot
Wasn’t it stated that every range, Kanoh has a one-shot technique?

Because toa isn't julius

Manlet of Manilla's real power is defeating people off screen. When he's on screen his power is severely nerfed.
That or he just works himself into a stalemate
No that's too similar to Himuro. He can only win against people who don't have plot armour. He will be appropriately nerfed for each fighter.
Dude stole sukuna technique smh Unoriginal hack
Julius basically one shot Toa once he used muscle control
> Julius basically one shot Toa once he used muscle control Rolón did it with a casual bodyblow. Toa tanked a Gott-Totter bodyblow.
I love that Toa is basically like a player who put some points into intelligence and Julius just put those into more strength.

UNGA BUNGA
Beat me to it!
Julius will use his muscle control to turn into a new form, maybe a ball, and eat agito
He's gonna turn himself into a pickle
funniest shit i've ever seen

into a packman and out of nowhere Yujiro will appear, kick everyone's ass and disappear like always
ICBM vs 800mm Huge ass cannon
Who’s saying Kanoh can’t win?
BECAUSE OFF SCREEN LOSS OF SOMEONE JULIUS LOW DIFFED IS USELESS AGAINST OVERWHELMING POWER
I ust noticed that Lolong hit Toa with an elbow here.
An... invisible one?
Gott Toter one-shotted Toa, and Julius had another 2 years to evolve.

Wait until Ramon crush him.
put your kengan coins where your mouth is, BOI
YOU ARE STILL GREEN AND THERE IS ANOTHER MEN INSIDE OF ME. I'll put half of my coins on it. The other half is for Gilbert killing Raian cause i cant .
This was off screen We don’t know how the fight went down
Toa isn't Julius and Agito isn't Lolong.

Rolon is STRONG.
Lolong gonna win this tournament 😎

Because Sandro will most likely dumb down Agito or nerf his speed to make this a more fair fight Or Rolon just has better Giant stopping power
How the hell does Lolong vs Toa correlate?
Agito is a bad striker, he lost to Jurota who is an amateur in that.
Because everyone glazes Toa way too much. That B tier character got low diffed by a guy that got mid diff (at most) by Ohma not going all out.
Not to mention Toa was one shot by Julius.
