I really like that i can put on simple jeans and a t-shirt and still look great/interesting, but as soon my hair is not totally polished and well groomed, I just look undone. No messy bun/beach waves for me. Otherwise, i like being DC (sometimes i have a few days where i really envy SG people, but it goes away) i can identify it very well, and i like the recommendations as well.

As a classic, it's easy to get dressed but difficult to groom. It's hard to look polished all the time, especially when your hair texture isn't cooperating.

My hair is a PAIN. Not straight, not wavy, not anything! but it needs to be groomed otherwise the whole look is ruined. I will go thrifting tomorrow and hopefully fine nice classic outfits, I will share them with you :)

Exactly!! Great, I'd love to see some outfit ideas :)

Honestly, I like it. I know classics are supposed to be plain and boring but I've been looking at celebrities and the classic ones in classic lines catch my eye every time. They look both effortless and timeless. Also I've been cycling through different styles for a long time which can get rather wasteful. Finding out I'm a classic means I'll think twice and be careful about what I buy. That is a huge plus for me.

Not a classic but borrowing some stuff from SC (and DC too, I'm guilty) for my office wardrobe...you guys are awesome! So little effort needed to look good. The modern minimalistic aesthetics really suits you well, something I'd like to pull off but can't. Also, lines vs style is a different thing. As long as you wear your fabrics, lines and a balanced spirit, you can pull off any style :) What are your favourite style inspirations? Art period, fashion decade, perhaps a movie with a certain aesthetics or a certain image? How would you like to be perceived by others and what would you like to express yourself?

I really love effortless minimalistic style, but unless Im super polished, I mean hair head nails toes everything, I look like Im wearing pyjamas. I also love Zooey Dechannels style (very different from the previous lol). I have issues because Im overweight and apple shape, and its truly hard to find clothes that fit. Now I ordered summer clothes because I lost weight recently and I dont want to be wearing 2 sizes up stuff. I really like your questions at the end, makes me think. Thanks! Im still a little lost in my body and this whole kibbe thing :(

I'm still unsure if I am a classic or not, but it would actually be a huge relief to me! I think simple, clean outfits are much easier to mix and match!

If it makes you feel any better, the recommendations for my type too seemed like it had to be polished all the time as well, and it seems like that is the recommendation for everybody except naturals. Since we're humans and ain't nobody got time for that, I think it's important for us to modify according to our needs. Currently I'm trying to find a way to have my hair and makeup undone except in a high ponytail, and still have leisure clothes that I can feel and look good in while quarantined. It's good to remember that these are just guidelines.

I like boho so I'm living in hell on earth. When I wear black pants and white shirts (something that's a staple for a classic) I get confused with the store staff every damn time. It doesn't happen to my other friends that are SG, R, D or FG. I guess it does make me look so polished it's almost an uniform. But - I can go to a date and wear a white shirt and jeans and still look like I put some effort into it B)

I felt the same. The reason I even went to kibbe was to make fun outfits. I was bored with what my eye told me looked right. Now after a few months of looking at the lines I’m starting to see the possible twists I can add or use.

I am pretty sure I am some kind of classic, but I keep trying to see if maybe I could be something else because it doesn't really appeal to me. I tend to prefer DC lines to SC lines because I prefer yang types of lines overall. However, Elyssa's videos about ways to adapt styles to lines make me feel a little better in terms of not feeling bored by suggested classic looks. I'd love to see more moodboards/takes on classics that step out of the box. I know there have been a few.
