Oh for sure, if you're just going to witness the beautiful young idiots for a bit it can be a great time, and when you get tired of the noise and the crowds there are plenty of places nearby that are much better. Austin's downtown core is fantastic, there are literally half a dozen condensed bar areas all with their own vibes in a couple mile radius around downtown, all very bike/scoot/uberable to the next zone when you're done with where you are.
