They fish a body out of there every few weeks or so, leading to a debate of whether there is a serial killer afoot, or if it’s just the natural outcome of having drunk people near a body of water.
[Ladybird Johnson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Bird_Johnson) was and is a Texas icon, one of her biggest and most impactful accomplishments was cleaning up what was them called Town Lake in downtown Austin, fun fact she never wanted the lake to be named after her and they waited until she was dead and couldn't protest it.
