hello tea is a newer place on gay street and I’ve heard good things! Hey Bear is by far my favorite, they have locations on middlebrook and kern’s food hall
Is Hello Tea under new ownership or something? I thought it had been there a while. My family went a couple years ago because we had heard it was good and we thought it was disgusting. The 5 of us all got different things and all of us immediately threw them away outside after the first sip.
Wow that is unfortunate. I believe it has been the same couple who own and work it since 2021 on Gay Street. It is a beloved place with multiple repeat customers. Maybe they had a bad day. I'm sorry y'all had that experience.
I've tried a lot of places and nobody does it quite as good as King Fu Tea.
I've had the misfortune of getting undercooked tapioca at several places. Never had this at Kung Fu.
Interesting to see this question. There’s actually a new place to open soon. They’re getting the place in order currently. All materials will be from Taiwan, where Boba Tea was first invented. I’m excited, but getting impatient also.

Hi, long time Knoxville boba enjoyer here. For me it depends on what kind of drink I want. Hello Tea House has the best taro milk tea. Angry Dumplings has a delicious citrus tea and pretty good Thai & taro. Kung Fu has my favorite drink, the Honey Oolong milk tea w/ brown sugar “wow” boba. They also add new things to the menu regularly. I’ve never been a fan of Hey Bear’s tapioca pearls or their milk teas, but they have good fruit teas & fruity boba. Tealicious is also pretty good, definitely above Hey Bear.
I really like Hey Bear.
And they have a new location at Kern's Food Hall.
Sticky Rice is frozen, I love it.
the passionfruit 😫👌🏼
Lychee is my weakness.
oo what’s that taste like? i’ve always wanted to try it!
It is a light fruit, almost like grapes? Not fake grape flavor.
Absolute best option is Hey Bear
Angry dumpling hands down.
This is my vote too.
Kung Fu Tea is a chain but pretty solid.
Yeah, I wish I didn’t like a chain best. But I do and my teen agrees.

Hey Bear is great and was my favorite until I found Hello Tea. Hello Tea is exceptional.

Sticky Rice
I love tealicious in Hardin valley
Lots of people love Hey Bear and their flavors are either hit or miss for me. I personally love the boba from Hungry Sumo Hibachi on campus

Oh that's dangerously close to my house. Not having to go out west is going to be amazing.

Hello tea house, best boba on da block.
Sticky Rice Cafe is my favorite go-to place and 2nd choice is Kung Fu Tea where I usually order the Honey Tea
Not sure how to link to it. Hope this works. [Vols Boba Tea](https://www.facebook.com/share/p/BGxcNvLf9E9kzCzV/?mibextid=WC7FNe)
