Swaggerty’s Sausage in Sevierville has their own butcher shop. They have pork and beef, and sometimes chicken and turkey. Not trying to sound redundant because I’ve given this rec before in this sub, but it really will save you some money to drive there. Take 40 west out of Knoxville to the 407 exit, and it’s 5 minutes off the interstate. Also, Crooked Road Farms for pork and eggs (South Knoxville) Smelcer Farms for beef (Seymour) Mitchell Family Farm for beef (Blaine, Tn.) Benton’s Bacon (Madisonville, Tn.) Hyde Farms for beef (Vonore, Tn.)

I will always, always suggest Hyde farm! It was (and may still be) the only farm that raises and butchers their own beef in East TN. There’s also Bluestem hollow down the road from Hyde that is now offering grass fed, grass finished if that’s more your style! Hyde Farm has the best beef I’ve had. They also offer a variety of produce in the store on 411!

Farmers Market downtown on Wednesday and Saturday are safe bets. I've bought meat and eggs there for years.

I would like to single out Mitchell family farm. Everything I have bought from them, either directly or through Red Panda Market has been phenomenal. They price their meat fairly and it is absolutely the best quality.

Jesse's butcher shop in Bearden has been solid for me

There is a simpsons meets on Murdock just off of Lovell. I’ve never eaten it or been inside.

We’ve been loyal customers of Seven Springs Farm since they went into business. You’ll find them at the farmers market in Market Square. Great beef and veggies. Also good prices. Highly recommend them. We now buy half a cow at a time simply because we only buy our beef from them. Feel free to ask any questions. Hope that helps.

Whole Foods sells Simpson Family Farms ground beef. They also have a butcher shop near Lovell Rd. They’re local and the beef is great. Oddly, you can only buy their ground beef frozen at the butcher shop since they sell most of it fresh to Whole Foods

Gray family farms. I swear by them and am a certified meat snob. Also for eggs, drive around the Powell or Corryton area and you'll find dozens of people who sell eggs.

ImissBagels

As someone in Powell I can confirm I see a ton of fresh eggs signs in many different yards.

Just do not go to Bryant's Beef near Dandridge. Heard terrible things.

daisysong85

I've heard very good things about The Shrimp Dock for seafood

They also have tasso and various types of andouille.
