Shenoys and PVR Lulu are screening Dune at their worst screens
Vanitha Veneetha 4K RGB Laser is the answer if youāre looking for it in Kochi, but Coimbatore Broadway Imax is the only theatre in South India to fully experience this movie
All the other IMAX in South India are using old 2K Xenon Projection which INAX itself stopped their production. The one in Coimbatore is IMAX Single Laser
IMAX 15/70 mm > IMAX Dual Laser > IMAX single Laser when it comes to topmost quality and we donāt have the first 2 currently in India
AriesPlex is not even PLF, it might be the best to watch Dune when it comes to standard screens but no way you can make a comparison with IMAX
If you arenāt looking for an experience then itās fine to watch it at screen 4
The reason I didnāt like that screen is due to fact itās so similar to a home theatre setup, I mean the size of the audi
Vanitha is the only real option tbh especially since PVR and Shenoys decided to disrespect it with their worst auditoriums. However, having seen Dune 2 at the best current IMAX venue in India, I must atleast try and persuade people to try to go to the nearest possible IMAX screen. If any movie is worth that effort, this is it.
Seems like Vanitha has moved dune to their 2k screen for next week š and now the only choice is Shenoys.Btw how is shenoys 4k 7.1 compared to Vanitha's 4k screen.
I saw in Shenoys, itās amazing,10 out of 10
Feels like mani ratnam made an action movie.
Also shenoys choclate fantasy milk shake is particularly stellar, possibly the best I had in the city, expensive though

2. Shenoys
3. PVR Gold..... Maybe
Its screening otherwise on PVR Screen 1 in which the right back speakers have been distorted for around a year. Avoid!
If you have the time and money - IMAX, Coimbatore, nothing beats it.

Here in kochi, Vanithašš¼. Just saw the movie today, the experience is amazing. For Fully immersed experience go to an IMAX theatre.
Can I sneak some snacks inside vanitha? Do they check bags?
I don't think they check the bag, but snacks in vanitha is cheap compared to shenoys or pvr.

Yes. Coimbatore Imax. Even the Epiq screen in Calicut isn't great for it as it's the real IMAX film

No, Screen 1, 2 and 3 are their main screens Screen 4 and 5 screen are basically to chart movies with less footfalls

Rumours were about imax coming to Forum Mall. But it will be PXL. It'll still be an upgrade from what we have in Kochi rn.
