Me too. Henry at full Florida party girl will make me laugh no matter how sad I'm feeling. Also shout out to his Jodi Arias talking about her butthole. So great.
I gotta put in Richard Kuklinski and Robert Pickton. The running gags from Pickton and just hearing Henry get pissed every time Ben would make a Polish joke was just great.
It's such a funny series. The naked lady pen joke always gets me. Somehow it gets funnier Everytime.
Wait for it
Wait for it
Wait for it
It's tits.
Anyone who doesn't find that funny is OUT TO LUNCH
(Must all be said in Henry's Canadian accent)
Pickton is definitely my favorite. It’s my favorite one to quote. “It’s me! Freckeley bones real estate!” And of course Henry doing Mrs.Pickton is hilarious. 😂
They're both such solid series to return to again and again.
And an Irishman set on fire is one of Henry's best impressions of the whole pod. Kuklinski is probably top 5 for me,which I think is big because I hate mob stuff
The way the one rescuer described the children at the end. Like they'd gone feral. I think I remember him saying that maybe it would be better to leave them to die?
My WIFE and my favourite part of LRon is the exchange between I think it was his lover and him and she goes something like “you’re flustered, you can’t even find your hat.” Then Henry’s Hubbard voice : “does that make you feel powerful?”
We Quote that All the time
Henry is so hilarious in that series. I still rant about holding the line over absolutely nothing from time to time.
"I'm standing up for this!"
"Why ARE you standing up for this?"
I love when he's in character as an aluminum siding salesman at the beginning of the second episode. "I will drink 7 miller lites and I will move some aluminum siding"
Love John list episode, I remember seeing the bust on Unsolved Mysteries or one of those shows as a kid in the 90s and always found the case interesting.
Robert Pickton. It was was the first full series I got to listen to in real time and I still remember refreshing my feed every Friday afternoon to see if the new episode dropped. Really feel like that series is one of their peaks when it comes to research, impressions/characters and side bar tangents. Just a perfect LPOTL series imo.
Honestly, my favorite thing on the network now is the Last Stream On The Left.
Hamdates, Staff Picks, Henry’s super serious UFO mandate etc. this stuff is pure gold.
WEEEEEELLLL me and my buddy goin thru the forest on our selves, gonna have us some squirrels. you are my best friend bad jim! you are my best friend mr. cap SHHHH!!!
Favourite Deep Dive: Jonestown - that series will forever be one of the greatest
Favourite to throw on in any mood: Aum Shinrikyo
Favourite 'out of nowhere': Order of the Solar Temple
Essentially, anything cult related I find they do incredibly well.
Sone of my faves in no particular order:
Order of the Solar Temple.
A one-off: The Andreasson Affair was hilarious.
Rasputin.
These are excellent listening.
Jonestown!
I even went out and bought The book Road to Jonestown afterwards, and spent a long while on the archive pages reading all the tape transcripts.
The ones I find myself going back to often: Jonestown (I skip the bonus episode with the death tape, heard it once. I’m good), Dahmer, Pickton, Gacy, Oswald, Pee Wee Gaskins (and that’s the final truth), Dulce facility, Mothman redux.
Not a favorite series for me, *but*, their live episode in Chicago where Henry plays as him is one of my favorite one-offs.
I think it's actually the only live upload
Belle Gunness!!!!!
Runner up is Pee Wee Gaskins
Mormonism and Billy the Kid are probably objectively the best as far as research goes. JFK is also cool because they dissect all the angles.
BTK and Gacy are my favorite heavy hitter ones.
Jon Bennett is my problematic fave. 9/11 also a classic
Off the top of my head:
Peewee Gaskins
Josef Mengele
The JFK Assassination
Carl Panzram
Jonestown
Donner Party
The Sinking of the Indianapolis
Edit: How could I forget two incredible ones: Mormonism and Scientology. If you liked the one on David Miscavidge, you NEED to learn about where it started with L. Ron Hubbard.
And for a silly one: Jeff the Talking Mongoose
Adolfo Constanzo series is probably my favourite purely for the content, his story is straight out of a horror or urban legend story I think.
For having a laugh, I like Nightstalker and BTK series (Ben and Henry carrying on about the surname 'Doi' and Marcus getting angry always kills me) but I think that was early enough in Last Pod history that they hadn't hit their peak yet, I bet if they covered them nowadays, they'd go even more in depth.
My favorites for laughs, are the McVeigh episodes simply because Henry's character for the woman at Burger King makes me cry laughing and the hill side stranglers because they STILL refer to him as Kennifer Bianchi. But as far as favorite topics it's the Rasputin series
The Lobotomy series was SUPER interesting. A lot of it i didnt even know! I also enjoyed the West Memphis 3 series, hits close to home and its one of those cases that boils my blood.
For me it’s probably the jones town series, the lobotomy series, the donor party series, and the Uruguayan rugby team one. Not in any particular order. Those are just my top four
Madame Blavatsky is my favorite occult series, Robert Pickton is my favorite true crime series, The Tall Whites is my favorite alien episode, Ron L. Hubbard is my favorite cult series.
Henry Lee Lucas series has some great one liners and impressions.
A little sample, is you will
Henry: It’s the dream team if the dream team is two retarded men who kill and rape people and then sometimes also blow each other
One of the most consistently funny series. I've listen to it so many times. Granted I always stop listening before they get into the exceptionally stupid black hand stuff
Casey Anthony. I don't know if it's their best, but it's the one I go back to when I feel down.
Me too. Henry at full Florida party girl will make me laugh no matter how sad I'm feeling. Also shout out to his Jodi Arias talking about her butthole. So great.
I love when he talks about how easy it is for someone to cover their butthole. "You could do it with a postage stamp!"
YOU KNOW ME BITCH!
"Let's get this out of the way...Casey Anthony is hot."
This is the last time we're going to bring this up
Did you know I can dunk from the freethrow line?
If you believe me, you might...get...to seeee...my nippplllllllesssss.
That and Rasputin. They were back to back in the early 300's, like 302 to 308
she’s a bartender!
Go Noles !
Fuck that’s a good one too
I gotta put in Richard Kuklinski and Robert Pickton. The running gags from Pickton and just hearing Henry get pissed every time Ben would make a Polish joke was just great.
It's such a funny series. The naked lady pen joke always gets me. Somehow it gets funnier Everytime. Wait for it Wait for it Wait for it It's tits. Anyone who doesn't find that funny is OUT TO LUNCH (Must all be said in Henry's Canadian accent)
Wait for it Wait for it Ya know my mom could beat up your mom She once killed a boy for us. She just turned him over and let him die. And it’s tits.
So good. Thank you I am trying not to laugh at work as I run out the clock :-)
Wait for it Wait for it Aw she's shittin'
"That's fake rain" never ceases to make laugh out loud
“Wait for it, wait for it. It’s tits.”
Pickton is definitely my favorite. It’s my favorite one to quote. “It’s me! Freckeley bones real estate!” And of course Henry doing Mrs.Pickton is hilarious. 😂
His gobbly weird noises for her are so great.
This is the episode that made me a life-long listener.
Hey Don! I’m Polish!
They're both such solid series to return to again and again. And an Irishman set on fire is one of Henry's best impressions of the whole pod. Kuklinski is probably top 5 for me,which I think is big because I hate mob stuff
Rasputin! Followed by Israel Keyes and then David Miscaviage. Pretty much any series that’s mostly Henry doing his best impersonations
Hoyoiyoiyoiyoi
The Donner Party
Henry's Richard Dreyfus voice was the best part of that series. "THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!"
That was actually my introduction to this podcast. I was hooked!
The same for me. It was so good. The humor was perfect for me. Just overall a fun experience.
this was also my introduction to the podcast and i was instantly hooked
The first series that truly unsettled me. Something about (mostly) regular people doing horrendous things in dire circumstances that sticks with me.
The way the one rescuer described the children at the end. Like they'd gone feral. I think I remember him saying that maybe it would be better to leave them to die?
The book they used as their source is phenomenal. It’s called “The Indifferent Stars Above.”
One of my favorite nonfiction books ever! So so good.
“What age do you think prospectors get the voice?”
Dearest ant gorsky, ...
I re-listen to this series every year!
Carl Panzram was what hooked me.
For real. Panzram was one of the best!
Such a wild story and I loved Henry’s impression
I’m a….bit of a grouch
Mormonism
All time favorite. I've listened to all 6 parts at least 5 times
It’s great. Informative… and insane, and ridiculous. Ridiculously insane… and I learned something… mostly how insanely ridiculous Mormonism is.
Growing up in it is a trip
This series is incredible.
this was the first series i ever listened to after my sister insisted i listened to it and i’ve been listening ever since
Jonestown. 300-304
RIP Mr Mugs
He would have made a great Stevie Nicks.
I will never tell a soul what happened here
😞
The black death episodes. Hands down my favorite run of episodes they've done.
surprised at how far i had to scroll to see this! this was the series that hooked me for sure
I swear I’ve listened to this series over 20 times
Ooh i forgot about these ones!
💯💯💯
I like the more esoteric, personality-driven series. Crowley, LRH, Jack Parsons, etc.
Parsons and Crowley were amazing. And they both need to exist to make the other some of the best series
I have those three series downloaded on my phone and listen to them if I'm on long trips.
I need a more episodes about the 3 of them together!
Mormonism, as a born-in-the-covenant believer turned apostate I can confidently say it's TRUE, it's all true!
So fuckin good. My favorite of all time and easily my most listened to
Joseph Kallinger
I’ve never laughed so hard while being so horrified
The verbatim "hamster conversation" he had with his therapist made me truly realise how impenetrably insane that man was.
🤝
I will never be able to hear Bernie Sanders’ voice again without giggling.
Set it and forget it!
Such a nut job. Such a craZy story. Also my favorite
HEY IM CHARLIE
That's one of mine too
I loved that episode
The JFK series, wish they could have done more of a deep dive into some of the weirder conspiracy theories but still a great listen
Lizzie Borden. I laugh more at that episode than any other. I still have to pause it to stop laughing and be able to listen properly.
It was a PORTUGUESEEEEEEE
Henry's Lizzie Borden impression has me cackling harder than I do in a lot of episodes.
Black Metal and L Ron Hubbard are my go-to series.
My WIFE and my favourite part of LRon is the exchange between I think it was his lover and him and she goes something like “you’re flustered, you can’t even find your hat.” Then Henry’s Hubbard voice : “does that make you feel powerful?” We Quote that All the time
Both of these are absolutely top-notch
John List, The Black Death and Albert Fish are my top 3.
John List series is great
Henry is so hilarious in that series. I still rant about holding the line over absolutely nothing from time to time. "I'm standing up for this!" "Why ARE you standing up for this?"
I thought Albert Fish was a pescatarian?
Lake and Ng by a mile for me.
Operation brownie pockets is in full effect!!
It’s Ed Gein day, it’s Ed Gein day, put your hands together cause it’s Ed Gein day
He was... hmm, how'd you describe him, mother? ***HE WAS AN ODDBALL!***
These hussies that walked the Wisconsin streets of 1920…
Bit of a die spinner
Talking Mongoose
Best one- part episode.
I stan hollow moon.
Honk honk
Honkhonk! was looking for this.... It was so silly but FASCINATING!
Black Metal Jack The Ripper Enfield Poltergeist Robert Pickton Andes/Alive! Jodi Arias & Casey Anthony
Men in black
This is my go-to! The MIB/alien voices Henry does fucking sends me every time.
This is one of my favorites too
Mormonism, Donner Party, and H H Holmes for a throwback.
I’m Minnie!
I’m Nannie!
In order: Donner Party Black Death Charles Ng and Leonard lake Enfield poltergeist L Ron Hubbard
Adolfo constanzo
That one was absolutely insane
Bleah! I'm Adolfo Costanzo!
Oklahoma City
It'll never not be Robert Pickton for me
Men in black. Funny and creepy.
I bet "funny and creepy" are the roles all pairs of men in black play, like the police play good cop bad cop
Honestly, my favorite thing on the network now is the Last Stream On The Left. Hamdates, Staff Picks, Henry’s super serious UFO mandate etc. this stuff is pure gold.
Tuesday evenings are magical
Mormonism. Andes. Hatfield and McCoys. Others but those are at the top for me.
Pickton was my fave for the longest time but Armin Miews may have just replaced it.
Don’t think I saw the Hatfield’s and McCoys but I listened to it twice within the first month. “HOG JUSTICE”
WEEEEEELLLL me and my buddy goin thru the forest on our selves, gonna have us some squirrels. you are my best friend bad jim! you are my best friend mr. cap SHHHH!!!
Jodi arias is by far one of their funniest series
Blackbeard is up there.
Betty and Barney Hill, H.H. Holmes , pewe Gadkins
And that's the final truth!
IMO the Black Death series is their best work. Packed full of information, and it kept a strong steady pace through all the episodes.
Aleister Crowley, Leonard Lake/Charles Ng & Israel Keys for comedy content. Carl Panzram for how interesting the story is.
Rasputin! I made my flair my favorite quote from it.
Favourite Deep Dive: Jonestown - that series will forever be one of the greatest Favourite to throw on in any mood: Aum Shinrikyo Favourite 'out of nowhere': Order of the Solar Temple Essentially, anything cult related I find they do incredibly well.
Sone of my faves in no particular order: Order of the Solar Temple. A one-off: The Andreasson Affair was hilarious. Rasputin. These are excellent listening.
Leonard Lake and Charles Ng Jack the Ripper Carl Panzram Pee Wee Gaskins All of them too many times.
Jack The Ripper
Jonestown and Mark David Chapman are tied for me.
Jonestown!
Mormonism, Skinwalker Ranch, Dean Corll, Men in Black, Casey Anthony, Robert Pickton, Carl Panzran and PeeWee Gaskins. And that's the final truth!
It’s fairly new, but I’ve already listened to the Andes series twice.
9/11 & the Andes survival
Survival in the Andes was done so well, definitely my favorite
Probably because it's the one that really got me into them, but Jonestown. Their cult episodes are some of my favorites
The Salem witch trials but only because of the gum joke. It kills me every time.
Robert Pickton is a classic. The Black Metal episodes are favorites as well as the Dulce, Men in Black and Black Death episodes.
The Black Death, Survival in the Andes, The Donner Party and simply for the humor, Robert Pickton
Son of Sam is my favorite
Not a favorite series for me, *but*, their live episode in Chicago where Henry plays as him is one of my favorite one-offs. I think it's actually the only live upload
I’ll have to check that out. I love the accents in that one😂
Oh man, it's so good, they do this act out of him talking to police, then they read his poetry
Mormonism, Jonestown, Richard Kuklinski are the best for my money, but I respect all opinions
I used to listen to the JFK series every few months cause it’s so good but it’ll feel awkward now I think.
Karla Holmolka and Paul Bernardo still makes me laugh and if I run out of new episodes of my podcasts it is what I listen to.
Rasputin. HH Holmes and the MK ULTRA episodes.
I think the Hatfield–McCoy feud is one of their funniest
Aleister Crowley is easily my favorite. Mormonism is close second.
Lizzie Borden!
The Donner Party. I keep going back, no other meat will satisfy the hunger.
Scientology. L Ron and Miscavige series
Belle Gunness!!!!! Runner up is Pee Wee Gaskins Mormonism and Billy the Kid are probably objectively the best as far as research goes. JFK is also cool because they dissect all the angles. BTK and Gacy are my favorite heavy hitter ones. Jon Bennett is my problematic fave. 9/11 also a classic
Dahmer and Jodi Arias!
Ed Kemper and Gary Ridgeway for me.
Off the top of my head: Peewee Gaskins Josef Mengele The JFK Assassination Carl Panzram Jonestown Donner Party The Sinking of the Indianapolis Edit: How could I forget two incredible ones: Mormonism and Scientology. If you liked the one on David Miscavidge, you NEED to learn about where it started with L. Ron Hubbard. And for a silly one: Jeff the Talking Mongoose
222. Manifestos. It’s a single episode. Henry’s impression of incel spree killer & supreme gentleman Elliot Rodger is just delightful.
HH Holmes. IM MINNIE IM NANNIE
My first intro was The Knights Templar series. I still think it’s hilariously hilarious.
And WAP .:: Jodi
My favorites for laughs, are the McVeigh episodes simply because Henry's character for the woman at Burger King makes me cry laughing and the hill side stranglers because they STILL refer to him as Kennifer Bianchi. But as far as favorite topics it's the Rasputin series
I go back to the black death series quite often
Scientology
The Lobotomy series was SUPER interesting. A lot of it i didnt even know! I also enjoyed the West Memphis 3 series, hits close to home and its one of those cases that boils my blood.
Chaos Magick. It's what got me into seriously studying the occult.
Tragedy of the Essex and Donner Party
For me it’s probably the jones town series, the lobotomy series, the donor party series, and the Uruguayan rugby team one. Not in any particular order. Those are just my top four
Rasputin. Agrarian
Where’s HH Holmes? It gave us MINNIE AND NANNY!
Katherine knight
Madame Blavatsky is my favorite occult series, Robert Pickton is my favorite true crime series, The Tall Whites is my favorite alien episode, Ron L. Hubbard is my favorite cult series.
I’m amazed I’m alone in this but Children of Thunder was so bizarre and ridiculous. Also loved Lizzie Borden
Pee Wee Gaskins forced me to pull over while driving, but the appearance of detective popcorn made the BTK series legendary.
Satanic Government
“I’M NANNIE, SHE’S MINNIE, BUT I’M NAAAAANNNNIE!” “Oh, shut the fuck up, Nanny…” Always puts me in the best mood. (H. H. Holmes eps 200-202 I think??)
Men in black, casey anthony, jodi arias, and donner party have become comfort listens to me lol.
I really love everything they covered so far, but god damn I hated the Chicago Rippers. Only one that bothered me haha.
Henry Lee Lucas series has some great one liners and impressions. A little sample, is you will Henry: It’s the dream team if the dream team is two retarded men who kill and rape people and then sometimes also blow each other
One of the most consistently funny series. I've listen to it so many times. Granted I always stop listening before they get into the exceptionally stupid black hand stuff
Mormonism, and I like the Pee Wee Gaskins ones
Dahmer. I’m from the Midwest though so I may be biased. The Midwest accents used in it make me laugh so hard. 😂
Donner party
Donner party, Black Death, Dahmer, Gein, survival in the Andes,
The Donner Party The Black Death Joseph Kallinger Carl Panzram Casey Anthony Salem Witch Trials
The Mormon series. Or Panzram

I constantly go back to Jodi arias, OKC and Israel Keyes
Andrew cunanan and Richard chase and rocco
Not a series but Nanny Doss. Henry using her voice murders me
Adolfo Costanzo. There’s a gag they do in one of those episodes that makes me lose my shit every time
