*current study routine is 1-2 pts per week, 1-2 practice sections per day with drilling and reviewing in between. Also currently going through the loophole.
Great job on the progress you've made so far! Your study routine sounds solid, and it's paying off with your increasing scores. The Loophole is a great resource and I'm glad to hear you're going through it. As for RC, have you tried approaching it with a different strategy? Maybe breaking down the passage into smaller chunks, or taking notes as you read? Keep up the hard work and you'll hit that 170+ goal in no time!
No guarantee it works for you but my 2c: What worked for me is taking more PT’s per week. More practice & more familiarity with the different questions.
I boosted my LR scores by inserting the word BECAUSE into every question. If you can methodically map out the logical progression being presented, you’ll have an easier time answering the question. This takes practice.
It took almost equal time for me to go from 135 to 165 as it did to go from 165 to 170+. Good luck.
Congratulations on the progress! Jumping from the high 160s to the 170s is a difficult hurdle to get over. Improving in Logical Reasoning is the next best step, and The Loophole is a great resource for doing so. After you complete the book and implement the strategies hopefully you will see improvement!
It is also critical that you figure out the LR question types that you are consistently missing the most. You will then need to review the curriculum and strategies for those questions, and create practice sections to drill those specific question types until you master them. Start by doing them untimed to ensure you understand the concepts.
To improve in Reading Comprehension is a little more complex. You will need to try different strategies to see what works best for you. I also recommend going through several RC sections untimed to practice your mapping strategy and to ensure you can answer all of the questions correctly without a time constraint. The key to RC is understanding that every answer is DIRECTLY supported in the passage. So when reviewing, make sure you can pinpoint exactly where the author mentioned it.
Thank you!! Started studying very inconsistently last summer but really started grinding (while being a full time student) at the end of January. Have confidence I can reach that 170+ goal by June or august if needed :)

You gotta sharpen logical reasoning. You only need a few more points there and you'll be scratching 170
This is exactly how my PTs look lol. I can’t seem to understand where exactly I’m going wrong in LR

Wow, 135 to 170+, that’s inspiring. I’m so proud of you!
Yeah. Law school.
