Not particularly bothered personally about a dash of red but it does worry me in how little red bull listen to the fan base. This is the sort of stuff they can plan to show they care, and it’s clear they don’t
It really doesn’t look that bad, and those who don’t like it will forget in a couple weeks/season start. And anyone saying there shouldn’t be any red on the kit cus “lEeDS” are just being silly
Dont love it but not the worst either imo. Better than 21/22 anyway. Dont mind red bull being a sponsor or anything but I do think the logo looks a bit cheap. In terms of how intrusive the logo is though I dont think its as bad as 32RED from a few years back which dominated the top
I mean I didn't buy a single 32 red shirt because the sponsor was ass. I won't be getting any of the red bull ones with that logo on them either, they literally have a blue and yellow logo they use from time to time which should have been on this shirt.
Considering Leipzig have had kits with the logo all white or all gold etc it’s honestly baffling that they’ve made this so bright and bold
I’m not a Leeds fan like so doesn’t bother me, but seems like there is far too much colour on it, blue, yellow, red and white… should have just had the blue stripes and made the logo all blue
I hope the team is getting a shed load of money for this partnership. I also hope it only lasts for a season or two. Then we can drop them like a bad habit.
What annoys me is red bull have a blue and yellow logo they use from time to time they could have used it on our kits and it would fit really well.
But they didn't and it stands out like a sore thumb.
Other than that the white kit last season even without sponsors was so much better, this is just a generic plain training top, waste of money.
Buy an Adidas white training top with blue strips on the arms and you'll basically have the Leeds kit but it'll only cost you about £15.
Now I've had time to look at it, I reckon the problem is the Red Bull logo is too high.
It's like they've purposely put the three logos on an equal footing.
The shoulder stripes are too thick too.
That's literally my only issue with it. The home kits are always just templates we had the same kit as Madrid and a few others last season but the away and third were our own.
The red bull logo is a little too big or too high that's my only issue
Won’t be 100% sure until I see it in person but this actually looks like the first time since maybe 2018 that the club crest is actually the correct colour.
Radz used to claim he had a big part in the kit designs, and he kept insisting on gold/piss yellow shades all the time instead.
The yellows on the neck and the badge are the same colour. Look at my image that I took yesterday morning in JD that's doing the rounds. The yellow on the sponsor is different that's it.
It's the part where people want Leeds to be a successful club, competing at the highest level, to be able to retain talent like Archie Grey, Raphinha etc. But in the same breath, not wanting that success to come at the cost of selling out to a business like Red Bull.
It's a catch 22, we want to participate in modern football, but we want to be the same club that we've been for the past 20 or 30 years.
It's the exact same as the Elland Road debate, people absolutely love the stadium because it's the heart and soul of the club, it's the only ground that we as a club have ever known. It's where we've won everything that we as a club have ever won.
But it's also a ground that was built in 1897, a ground for whom's last major expansion and renovation was in 1994.
We all want to keep Elland Road exactly the way it is right now, but we also all accept that in stadium terms, it's a bit of a dinosaur, and that while it might have been great for us back in the '90s and the early 2000s, if we're ever going to be serious about playing long-term Premier League football again, and eventually, European football, Elland Road is either going to need almost a complete rebuild and expansion, or we're going to have to look at building a new stadium elsewhere.
It's the exact same as Red Bull. We want the money that Red Bull will give us, and all of the success and accolades that that might bring us down the line. We're just not willing to give them what they want in return.
Completely.
Definitely a decision made about sponsor placement. To me it looks like equal priority on the three logos, rather than the usual brand sponsoring the club
If that makes sense
At least I’ve heard of this sponsor!
It’s ok, not great. Last seasons was much nicer. Will still pick it up for my son and it will probably look better on.
Honestly the amount of people getting triggered by a kit is outrageous.
The sponsor is OK, they’re not gonna take Red off because a few fans are too sensitive. Are you forgetting one of the most iconic games in recent history was played in our Red kit, beating City away.
The collar is a nice throwback to the 70’s and the Thistle Hotel kit from the 90’s.
I really don’t see the problem.
Completely agree, and I honestly don't see the issue that people have with Red Bull as a sponsor to begin with.
I would actually go so far as to say that for next year's shirt, they should perhaps look at going down the Red Bull Salzburg route and making the 'Two Bulls' logo a little bigger instead of just placing it in the middle of the shirt.
Funny you should say that, because as much as I like the top there was something irking me and I couldn’t place my finger on it.
The logo being bigger would make this a must buy for me.
That said I will definitely buy it anyway.
The ranking from worst to best types of sponsors is:
- Oil states and their airlines
- Betting companies
- Energy drinks
- Boilers
- Theme parks that have flamingoes
i know you're joking, but fuck Flamingo Land
https://theferret.scot/flamingo-land-tory-failed-to-pay-minimum-wage/
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/24421919.flamingo-land-owner-gordon-gibb-backs-reforms-mark-robinson/
Yeah. But here's the thing about that.
Find me a single Newcastle United supporter that genuinely, hand on heart, would tell you that they would rather go back to being the club that they were under Mike Ashley than where they are now.
I've got a few Geordie mates that were a bit iffy about the Saudis buying their club out, human rights violations etc.
We had this exact same discussion a couple of days ago when I was talking to them about Red Bull, and they tell me that they genuinely can't remember what life was like under Ashley. That's how much it's changed.
That's the thing about success, everyone wants it, they just don't want to pay the price for it, at least until they have it.
If Leeds do get promoted back to the Premier League at the end of this season, I guarantee you, every single penny that I own, this shirt will become iconic.
I support Leeds 100% and will be cheering for them in this kit as much as any other kit. If Red Bull started chopping up journalists in the Turkish embassy I might start feeling less enthusiastic though.
And even if it does, what's the issue?
People are worried that they're going to change the name, the crest, the club colours etc. And sure, that would be super easy for them to do if we were an irrelevant, unknown 7th division club like SSV Markranstadt were before they were rebranded into Red Bull Leipzig. Not so easy to do if you're one of the most historically recognisable clubs in England.
People are also forgetting that there are rules and legislation in place to prevent exactly what they think is going to happen from actually happening, Independent regulators etc.
Red Bull actually taking over the club in its entirety really wouldn't be the worst thing in the world like some people on Reddit are trying to make out that it would be.
It's fine - they bang them out each year and change them a little. Would look a lot better with the Adidas trefoil...
Puma seem to be making the best kits these days that stick to traditional styling. Adidas is just cookie cutter rubbish - look at how many international kits in the euros follow the same template.
I've found where the fucker came from! it's shirt mockup by classicshirts on twitter. [https://x.com/classicshirts/status/1796117818842173837](https://x.com/classicshirts/status/1796117818842173837) from May 30th
Only difference is the collar. Here's me hoping it's all just photoshops and fakes based off this.
What have they done with Ethan Ampadu? He looks like something you find in a taxidermist's shop window?
We need a better photographer especially for the team news tweets. Can't be having Piroe looking like he's just been kicked in the nuts.
This doesn't look as edgy as someone thinks it does.
It's just so.... Dull.
I loved the integration of the peacock feathers last year, the theme running throughout all three kits.
This is cut and paste, quick Canva jobby.
Best selling home kit last season to, hopefully, worst.
Yellow kit better be a fucking cracker.
Look. It’s not the best kit we’ve had. It’s not the best sponsor / partnership we’ve had, but commercially it signifies that we’re a big club with aspirations. We’ll have better kits that go alongside success in the near future. With or without these owners.
There's a fair chance all our kits from now on will look like this. Red Bull clearly have some say in it currently and they'll be buying the club when the 49ers sell.
It’s not that bad can we all stop complaining Red Bull is keeping us financially stable after we didn’t get promoted be thankful they’re willing to invest in the club only complaint I have is the sponsor is a bit too high
Be thankful they’re investing in a club they’ll ultimately lose money in this season? And they’re minority owners. The board already said it’s not up for discussion changing the badge, name, colors, etc.
I’ve a bridge to sell you if you believe that.
We aren’t short of investors or interest. We don’t need to thank a multi billion £ corporation for scraps from their table.
Honestly, I don't mind it. It would probably look better without the stripes down the sides and shoulders - but as that's Adidas' whole design, that's never gonna happen.
I'm with you, I think I've seen a lot worse kits out there. I think it would have been nice if they'd have used the blue and white/silver logo they use on some cans but if the pain of having massive investment is a slightly garish logo then I'll live with it.
When was this supposedly taken? Dan James still has a cut on his forehead and Ampadu-du-du has got different coloured hair.
Is there anything official saying this is the kit or are we just gonna wait for the announcement on the 7th?
It’s not just our fan base, pal. Everyone moans about everything these days and football is where people get to vent their frustrations. We should all cut each other some slack - we’re all in the same boat.
The sponser looks so out of place, also the colours don’t compliment eachother very well.
But more importantly for me, the circle in the middle of the Red Bull logo, the yellow in the Leeds badge and then the collar are all different fecking shades of yellow.
They’re part owners now so the sponsor logo is here to stay.
Shirt styling all seems to be on Adidas though so as long as they provide our kits we’re at their mercy.
Question is how many fans will stop buying the shirt because of it? A lot of us aren’t fans of the new kit but that’s probably not enough to stop people buying the new kit every year.
I won’t buy this kit this season so hopefully the away or third are decent because I need one to put Rodon on after I found out he turned down multiple PL clubs to stay with us. What a man.
How much longer do we have Adidas as our shirt sponsor and is there anyone else who will do it better? With the exception of the WBA shirts which look beautiful I've not seen any other team that impressed by their strip this year.
I won't be buying this shirt, I have enough leeds home shirts and this one is so underwhelming I see no reason to buy it. The rumoured yellow away kit with the smiley however....
I have to disagree. I feel it looks much better in these photos than in the leaks. It’s not a great kit, but certainly not the worst kit to ever exist.. Just very underwhelming. Hoping for better out of the away kit.
I think that's actually the best part, they kept the coloured stripes going.
They didn't continue it she the top of the sleeves, and the red bull yellow is again, another yellow - different from collar and badge.
Super lazy design.

Like this? Someone on Twitter photoshopped this, which is the actual kit but with the bulls changed to blue. OP posted it above and wasn’t well received. “Horrific” was one reply. Some people can’t be pleased.
Not particularly bothered personally about a dash of red but it does worry me in how little red bull listen to the fan base. This is the sort of stuff they can plan to show they care, and it’s clear they don’t
This will have all been organised before the announcement they were going to become sponsors.
This reminds me of if the shit macron one we had with Netflights on it. Absolutely gash is this.

Bruvva urghhh
RB Leipzig: Leeds Branch
Wanted to say that, pretty bad looking and I’m not even a Leeds fan just wanted to check what people had to say
Dont love it but not the worst either imo. Better than 21/22 anyway. Dont mind red bull being a sponsor or anything but I do think the logo looks a bit cheap. In terms of how intrusive the logo is though I dont think its as bad as 32RED from a few years back which dominated the top

literally looks like how i envisaged aaronson in a leeds kit cunting in 30 when we signed him fake as hell
Just a generic leeds home kit really
Looks absolutely awful.
I usually hate our kits but I think this one's dead nice, personally.
Looks fine, let's see how they play.
I don’t really have a problem with it.
I hope the team is getting a shed load of money for this partnership. I also hope it only lasts for a season or two. Then we can drop them like a bad habit.
ALAW

Somehow it's too bright and doesn't look jersey at all.
It’s all good last seasons kit is amazing - think if it as a £60 gift from the club. We don’t need a new strip
If anyone is disappointed with this kit don't stress the away one is a beauty. Yellow / smiley / collar
Half the sponsor would disappear on a yellow kit
Now I've had time to look at it, I reckon the problem is the Red Bull logo is too high. It's like they've purposely put the three logos on an equal footing. The shoulder stripes are too thick too.
That's literally my only issue with it. The home kits are always just templates we had the same kit as Madrid and a few others last season but the away and third were our own. The red bull logo is a little too big or too high that's my only issue
Yeah, all seems bunched up. Maybe year by year the red bull logo will get closer to where the badge position is, in hope we don't notice.
And the year after they hope we won’t notice the badge being replaced by the Red Bull logo entirely
Wonder why we stopped working with Acid FC ... I really liked them kits.
Some people would buy a turd if you put a Leeds badge on it
Grown men. Crying about red on a shirt....
That’s not the part though
What is the part, then?
It’s too high up and all the yellow parts are different colours. Also I’m not a fan of that collar design.
Won’t be 100% sure until I see it in person but this actually looks like the first time since maybe 2018 that the club crest is actually the correct colour. Radz used to claim he had a big part in the kit designs, and he kept insisting on gold/piss yellow shades all the time instead.

Completely. Definitely a decision made about sponsor placement. To me it looks like equal priority on the three logos, rather than the usual brand sponsoring the club If that makes sense
It’s just bad photoshop
At least I’ve heard of this sponsor! It’s ok, not great. Last seasons was much nicer. Will still pick it up for my son and it will probably look better on.
It's not that weird to me, but that's probably because I'm a Yank and we literally have the New York Red Bulls in the MLS

Entire fanbase getting hysterical over a white shirt. Its decent, not the nicest not the worst

What does this even mean?
Jokes on them - I can't even drink Red Bull because it fucks with my guts.
who can? that stuff is nasty
Well it's horrible but whatever. Saves me some cash.
I like it 👌
Is this even real? Ampadu has blonde hair now
They dont take all the promotion pictures a few days before the release. This will have been done before last season even ended
I fucking hate the stuff. I can smell it a mile off and it makes me gag. It’s better than a betting company or tbh even a booze company, but still….
The ranking from worst to best types of sponsors is: - Oil states and their airlines - Betting companies - Energy drinks - Boilers - Theme parks that have flamingoes

Oh shit. We need to club together and set up an ethical, non-right wing maniac theme park that has flamingoes.
Yeah. But here's the thing about that. Find me a single Newcastle United supporter that genuinely, hand on heart, would tell you that they would rather go back to being the club that they were under Mike Ashley than where they are now. Look like something out of the middle aisle in Lidl with those colours
red!!!???!!!!!!
I genuinely don't mind it. I'd much rather be sponsored by an energy drink than a predatory betting company or a Saudi royal asset.
Whilst I agree, we all know why red bull are really sponsoring us. There's no way it doesn't turn into ownership at some point imo.
And even if it does, what's the issue? People are worried that they're going to change the name, the crest, the club colours etc. And sure, that would be super easy for them to do if we were an irrelevant, unknown 7th division club like SSV Markranstadt were before they were rebranded into Red Bull Leipzig. That's a low bar. Football's a mess, int it
It's fine - they bang them out each year and change them a little. Would look a lot better with the Adidas trefoil... Puma seem to be making the best kits these days that stick to traditional styling. Adidas is just cookie cutter rubbish - look at how many international kits in the euros follow the same template.
Anyone else reckon there’s room for a 2nd sponsor?
I suppose it will look better in May when we win the league in it?
This looks like something you’d get in a Swag Bag at an energy drink convention
It literally doesn't though?
Stop crying you dumb baby
Shush you dweeb
Red Bull FC sponsored by Leeds?
What’s a spurs fan doing here?

That’s Madame Tussauds version of Ampadu
It'll save me money anyway
The logo is too high. I can cope with the red but ffs this is just t shirt 101. No way I’m buying this.
Could just be bad photoshop tbh, didn’t look that high on the photos of the real thing
The red part should have been blue.
Thought DJ would have a scar, but it's healed up nicely
He has, they’ve photoshopped it out
Wait until you see it on Big Chris in Asda
Actually growing on me ngl. Thought it looked wank at first but seeing it on the lads I quite like it. Not as good as last seasons but not bad tbh
The only problem i have with it, is that it looks really high up? Im glad we have a big name sponsor and not a betting company etc.

It's just so.... Dull. I loved the integration of the peacock feathers last year, the theme running throughout all three kits. This is cut and paste, quick Canva jobby. Best selling home kit last season to, hopefully, worst. Yellow kit better be a fucking cracker.
I agree, Adidas haven’t been imaginative this season. It’s the exact same template as Scum United’s shirt.
If you’re going to buy the shirt, just peel off the red bull logo if you don’t like it
I hope someone who knows how that would work can experiment and make us a youtube video showing how to remove it without wrecking the shirt
Oh ,so this is real? I thought it was a joke ?? Please tell me that it isn't designed by a 7 year old.kid with canva ??
I won’t
You shouldn’t
honestly couldn’t give a fuck, you guys are wild for caring. ALAW
Cool. Announce full red kit from back in the day. :)
Mental that I'd prefer a boiler company on the front for the aesthetic
Sponsors make or break the kit, don’t they? Enterprise or 32Red?
B O X T is sort of a rad typographical graphic.
I guess the stark red bull non representative colours really fuck it up which is probably intentional. We are red bull before Leeds.
Do you have a source on RB buying the club? I’ve been disconnected from things recently. Thx
Just conjecture, don't worry. But the 49ers will be selling the club, they're not here forever, and Red Bull will be first in line to buy them out.
I’m not worried. I just wanted to know as I recall the chairman saying something about getting us to £1.5Bn valuation before selling.
You mean with Red Bull as the owners instead?
How likely is that? In his presser the chairman talks about getting us to £1.5bh value before selling.
Aspirations to flog all our best players.
Touché.
It’s not that bad can we all stop complaining Red Bull is keeping us financially stable after we didn’t get promoted be thankful they’re willing to invest in the club only complaint I have is the sponsor is a bit too high
Be thankful? For what? This is Leeds United, not the Dog & Duck. Their goal is to takeover the club and add it to their stable at a cut rate.
Yeah, the sponsor is proper front and centre. Very pushy, like.
“Proper front and centre” Bro it’s a sponsor 😭😭
:) You know what I mean.
Oh my god. It is isn’t it? You started to convince me that I was just overreacting but now this is irredeemable. Why is it so high up??😂
RB Leeds United
Honestly, I don't mind it. It would probably look better without the stripes down the sides and shoulders - but as that's Adidas' whole design, that's never gonna happen.

Announcements on Friday and kits are chosen halfway through a season so I’m assuming before the playoff final
Well this exact kit was found in JD and this is a JD poster so I’m pretty confident it’s the actual kit. They probably took this photo ages ago tbh.
tbh, it's not amazing but it's fine? I don't really get the disgust a lot of ppl are reacting with to this.
Because our fan base is full of absolute fucking moaners.
It’s not just our fan base, pal. Everyone moans about everything these days and football is where people get to vent their frustrations. We should all cut each other some slack - we’re all in the same boat.

With the exception of the WBA shirts which look beautiful I've not seen any other team that impressed by their strip this year. I won't be buying this shirt, I have enough leeds home shirts and this one is so underwhelming I see no reason to buy it. The rumoured yellow away kit with the smiley however....
You've got to be joking? Those WBA shirts are awful. Away one looks like a training top.
I have to disagree. I feel it looks much better in these photos than in the leaks. It’s not a great kit, but certainly not the worst kit to ever exist.. Just very underwhelming. Hoping for better out of the away kit.
You can’t see the Admiral/Macron-esque lines on the side in this photo. So there’s that…

That’s horrific
It’s the kit but with blue bulls.
Thanks for the audio description, the blue bulls looks horrific
Wrong shade of blue, found it on twitter.
The collar is terrible
I think that's actually the best part, they kept the coloured stripes going. They didn't continue it she the top of the sleeves, and the red bull yellow is again, another yellow - different from collar and badge. Super lazy design.
I just don’t like the gap in the middle, prefer when it goes all the way round.
Maybe a bit of blue textile paint on the bulls and it will look better ;)

Someone on Twitter photoshopped this, which is the actual kit but with the bulls changed to blue. OP posted it above and wasn’t well received. “Horrific” was one reply. Some people can’t be pleased.
That's so much better :)
I reckon it looks a lot better on them then it will on me and my beer belly 😄
red bull belly?
