> As far as I can see they have no claim to remove me Legally they do. Although it will take a court order to do so. This process is lengthy and very costly, and you need to really stress the fact that it will cost them a lot of money to force this through the courts. I've seen plenty of families squander their inheritance by fighting things in court and paying the whole lot to solicitors because their ego took over. Get yourself registered with your local council for a suitable property and inform them that you will move as soon as one becomes available. Or they can waste their money trying to force this in court, and you'll still get your share of the property while they will have had to pay a ton of money because they couldn't wait.

Everyone has to agree to the sale, or its court. Solicitors fees and months likely years to get it through. It will happen eventually if they are willing to pay for it. You will all lose a lot of money. I imagine your relationship with your Siblings will also be the cost. When you sell, wouldn't you have enough money to rent somewhere? The social housing is on its knees, you are unlikely to get help until you are homeless, and then it could be temporary accommodation for a long time as a single adult. There is a benefit calculator called entitled to. You may be eligible for housing benefit to pay a big chunk of the rent.

The title is misleading. They're not trying to remove you as executor. They want their promised share of the estate, which is perfectly reasonable. If you're all joint owners, then you must all agree to sell the house. If one owner doesn't agree, then the others could apply to court for an order of sale. This isn't free... You could stay in the house until such an order is granted.
