Fuji and APX - a person of taste

A-Gentleperson

I do like them.

grain_farmer

I bet you are happy you bought that big block of Xtra just before it was discontinued 😄

theninjallama

Why two bodies, doesn’t that just needlessly weigh you down?

A-Gentleperson

95% of what I photograph is wildlife. I find two bodies to be the absolute minimum. I'd prefer to have three.

linglingviolist

Interesting - how does rangefinder focusing fare with longer lenses? I assume you use the M3 for the long baselength.

A-Gentleperson

90mm and 135mm I use on my M3. No problems there. On my M4-P I use 200mm, 280mm and 400mm lenses, with the Visoflex III + OUBIO-M adapter.

Anakronox

*Sees film* That’s a lot of hedgehog photos, there.

A-Gentleperson

Exactly. After spring arrives, and the hedgehogs wake up from hibernation. I. AM. READY. ;)

Anakronox

Always be prepared. The Boy Scouts of America’s motto!

A-Gentleperson

Nah. I prefer Finnish Defence Forces methods. ;)

Andy_Shields

Congratulations on the new bag!

A-Gentleperson

Thank you. Well worth the price. When used on local photography day trips, just think about all the snacks I can fit in there!

Milleniador

Congratulations on the new bag. That's a healthy stock of film you have there. Look forward to your photography adventures.

A-Gentleperson

Anxiously waiting for May and the beginning of my four week summer vacation.

Looks sweet. When I fly with large amounts of film I place the film canisters in a large clear zip lock style bag that has my name on it. If I fly with medium format I leave the film wrapped in the foil but also place it in a large zip lock style bag.

A-Gentleperson

I hear flying with film can be a hassle. Though that is one trouble I will avoid as there is no way I'd set a foot in an airplane. Buses, trains and boats are much more within my realm of comfort.
