La Tía Alejandra (1980) it’s a great horror classic that has a lot of similarities to Hereditary. Oh and I have to mention Perfume de Violetas (2001), a very powerful movie. It’s intense.

As a Horror fan, this are mine:
La Hora Fria - 'The Dark Hour'.
La Habitación del Niño - 'The Baby's Room'.El Orfanato - The Orphanage.
Rec.
Dracula (1931) - 'The Spanish Dracula'.

Not Spanish language, but you could check out Alejandro Amenábar, the Spanish Director who did 'Thesis' and 'The Others', he has done some other really good movies internationally.
Missing a few Bunuels and Almodovars I haven’t seen post-Letterboxd, but that does make room for a lot of Carlos Saura.
I believe Never Open That Door is getting TCM Noir Alley’d in the nearish future and is a definite highlight.

The Exterminating Angel
Timecrimes
Cronocrímenes! What an underrated gem!
I actually think this might be the most tightly written time travel thriller I've ever seen, and there have been a surprising number of these.
Same here. I love the sub genre, and this one is IMHO one the best examples.
I would only add: The Secret in their Eyes Broken Embraces Wild Tales Volver
I adore Volver
Volver is a mainstay in my top 4

Whisky is sooo good!
Society of the Snow
I was not expecting that level of brutality from a Netflix production. Might be recency bias, but I can’t get that crash scene out of my head.
Seeing Arrebato in your list is awesome!!!
Love that film! Glad to see others on here recognize it.
I think you would enjoy El día de la bestia and Aterrados.
Fermats Room is one of my favourite underrated (?) gems.
Klaus

Some great films there. I also love Cell 211 and the Bar
I've not seen much to really say, but I'd like to say I was scrolling by and saw this post and thought "wait a second, Scream isn't a Spanish film!"
The platform was awesome
Quien Mato a Bambi (2013). Probably not on par with these other films, but it's a fun slapstick-type comedy. AKA Who Killed Bambi?
Quite a few good ones so far. I’d add: Intacto, Sin Nombre, and Abre los Ojos
El abrazo de la serpiente is fantastic (though half the movie is in Quechua) And La Huesera was fun
I saw platform and i liked it.
Tesis is kino
"Nueve reinas" is my favourite
From the director of Rec I recommend Veronica (2018) its a great movie Also A Fantastic Woman (2017)
