I don't think the stand is at risk of not being ready, but it seems they don't want to sell tickets without having confirmed numbers from the license, which makes sense. Frustrating but rather that than potentially getting a ticket in the ballot and then having it cancelled because their license is for fewer numbers than they expected.

FcukTheTories

Surely they know a ballpark though, why not just do a ballot based off of the lower ballpark figure then chuck the remainder into the Additional Members Sale?

bork1138

Also how is it they have hospitality up with a full seating plan, and have done for months now?

deanlfc95

[You get an error on there now.](https://ticketing.liverpoolfc.com/en-GB/hospitality/liverpool%20v%20bournemouth%20-%20matchday%20hospitality/2023-8-19_15.00/anfield)

FcukTheTories

If you try any other game it’s sound. 99% sure they’ve shit it last minute that they might not have it ready for Bournemouth

BaggieF34

I imagine the auto cup will be delayed now as it is now before the league tickets

FcukTheTories

If it’s to do with the Anfield Road I doubt it because there won’t be any cup games until at least 1 month into the season

TheLimeyLemmon

How does the auto cup work by the way? I went to a CL game through hospitality last season and got an email the other day saying I could join the autocup scheme. Presumably that means getting a membership for the year so I can enter it, right?

kels430

Yes but I highly doubt you’ll get on, I’ve been on the last 2 years with max credits and had to go through the ballot each time.

TheLimeyLemmon

Okay thank you :)

Rare-Airport4261

Are we supposed to believe they've just decided this at 4:50pm on the day we were meant to get ballot results? They treat members horribly because they know there are more than enough people to fill the stadium, even at short notice

FcukTheTories

How dare you try to buy a ticket you commoner! We only want hospitality tourists who will spend £100s per visit! Go watch it in the pub with all the other great unwashed!

WelcomeToCityLinks

This appears to indicate that the new Anfield Road stand won't be ready for the start of the new season, or at the very least there's a very good chance it won't be.

Aeceus

They're trying to get the seats sorted and toilets, but unlikely and food or hospitality areas will be ready.

Hindle92

I love postponed disappointment

spandexmatch

As per usual

[deleted]

How on earth do they manage to fuck it so badly, that they’ve gotta move it weeks away. Ridiculous.

FcukTheTories

The timing of the email to me indicates they thought they could actually get it done today, so why they’ve delayed it by 2 weeks is beyond me.

juzashannon

Opposite to me. I think they sent it at 5pm so that they don’t have to deal with the instant brunt of people being annoyed. Obviously the stand is behind schedule. Wouldn’t be shocked if the Bournemouth game ended up postponed or reversed.

FcukTheTories

Yeah they’re probably worried the Annie Road won’t be done in time. Could see that coming a mile off.

burnafterreading90

So anfield road stand delayed then yeah? I’m a bit disappointed in this tbh, surely they seen this coming a mile off?

DadofJackJack

Vice president of ticketing, is there a president of ticketing? What a job title.

FakeCatzz

American job titles. Sometimes companies have a President, and then below then VPs (maybe even exec VPs or Snr VPs). Just a fancy title to scratch someone's balls, presumably because everyone in the US wants to be the President and can't conceive of a greater honour.

Kryas_

Im genuinely pissed. Couldn't they have atleast posted that 1-2 days prior to the ballot day? This was so unnecesary to be posted at the exact time we hoped to get the results. Holy cow I am done.

KopiteTheScot

Blueball FC

deanlfc95

[An error is also being displayed when you try to buy hospitality for Bournemouth.](https://ticketing.liverpoolfc.com/en-GB/hospitality/liverpool%20v%20bournemouth%20-%20matchday%20hospitality/2023-8-19_15.00/anfield)

cassano23

Be lucky to be in by Christmas. It’s chaos inside.

user900800700

Fuck off. Give us fucking refunds if you can’t provide a decent service every single year.

Chickenbones666

Also how if there are 13k tickets allocated to members does this affect the ballot release. Wouldn't it just affect general public ticketing?

[deleted]

general public ticketing? what is that 🤣

[deleted]

Because some of the allocated tickets are going to be in the new stand and they’re worried it won’t be ready

Emanny

what general public ticketing?

deanlfc95

General public ticketing is the ballot lol.

Chickenbones666

Fuck this has frustrated me. Traveling from Australia and if I don't get tickets for games on dates I'm there I just wouldn't come to the UK and spend more time in Italy now I've got to wait two weeks to plan more of my trip.

lrguitardude

Same here, I am traveling from the US I had even reached to my local supporter’s club for tickets for the first home game and they said they were successful in allocating them, makes me wonder what will happen to those tickets if LFC’s first home is postponed until villa

etan1122

Damn the last few months have been full of grumpy motherfuckers. FSG is shite… then they sign a few players and that goes quiet. Then Hendo shouldn’t start or even be here.. then they bitch when someone actually wants to buy him. Now this. Must be exhausting being some of you people.

FcukTheTories

Yeah, imagine complaining when a company of which you are a paying customer offers a poor service! I’ve never heard the like of it!

etan1122

You’re complaining about the most minuscule thing. They push it back a few week so they can confirm capacity and you lose your shit. This has nothing to do with poor customer service. These things happen. You lot just decide to be twats about it

FcukTheTories

Could they not have done that more than 5 minutes before the ballot results were meant to come out?

deanlfc95

Tickets are basically the most important thing to do with the club. Do one.

etan1122

You complain more than anyone on this sub.

pb877

Have you ever tried to get tickets through a membership in the past? It's been a fucking shit show for years where you pay £30 just for the chance to get tickets and often end up with nothing after spending loads of your own time early in mornings on weekdays trying to get tickets, the past 2 years with ballots have been a bit better but they even fuck that up now. Members have been treated like shit for ages

henrypsanchez

Do we believe the Bournemouth match is at risk of being moved…or swapped with the away fixture?
