Every fm I play I always try to do that and end up at Anfield. Current save it’s 2031 my second season at Liverpool and we just collapsed end of season and lost the league to fucking Spurs despite leading by like 8 points in January :(
Can't say the game isn't realistic sometimes lmao 😭
I'm playing a national league save and the amount of goals we end up conceding in the very last minute every fucking match
Jos should never have got to F1 In the first place. He was barely quick enough to beat a 40 year old Derek Warrick in an arrows, and only got to be Schumachers teammate because JJ Lehto broke his back in a horror crash. His entire career was based around being bitter about the fact he was 1) rubbish compared to Schumacher and 2) humored by Schumacher because he was that rubbish compared to him...he just channeled all that bitterness into making his son a winning machine.
Anyway, to get slightly back on topic. The last time Everton won a trophy Simtek was still an F1 team.
Yeah, I don’t think negotiations would
get too cutthroat, but I think we might be able to shave a million or 2 off with him coming out and saying he’d like to move.
After seeing boys fall short again and struggle to look like anything really a part of me believes turning a new page is the best move. Klopp knew that also and he doesnt want to make the same mistake Wenger did. Was a hero, stayed for too long and left a villain.
It means not everyone sees every single thing which has been posted. I’m baffled why people always treat this as something new or unique to Reddit. Find any ‘posting’ of any kind on any social platform and you’ll find duplicates. It’s dumb but basically inconsequential.
I’m not and I basically visit every day. I think you’re right in principle (sorry I know how pointless this debate is but whatever we’re here lol), but if somebody thinks a post is worth a lot of attention and previous ‘attempts’ haven’t garnered it then posting it at a more ‘preferable’ time means a higher chance of traction and spreading the message. That luck/timing based system is sort of just how Reddit works. Again I really don’t care but I feel inclined
Maybe, but that's not what happened here. The previous post got plenty of attention, will probably get the most comments of any post on this sub today.
I guess if your an admin of the overall product it doesn't matter but for a specialized sub, nobody wants to see duplicates, engagement is best when it's aggregated under one post.
I'm pretty excited to see what the future looks like, but Virgil could have been a bit more enthusiastic than "one of the better Dutch coaches at the moment"
Virgil will have a lot more respect for people like Van Gaal and his current national team manager Koeman than we do. Also the deal isn’t done yet so it makes sense to be a bit cautious.
How far have we fallen as a club. Why aren’t we able to attract best managers in the world. I know Xabi didn’t want to leave but we all know if Real Madrid had come knocking he would have happily left leverkusen. It’s so frustrating being a Liverpool fan, always falling short of the best talent and having to do with players / manager we never wanted. Jurgen Klopp was the only exception other than VVD we have had in a long time where we really wanted someone and we got them. Klopp has been carrying our pathetic sleezy dimwit owners fighting against the riches of city. I feel after he leaves this szn we are absolutely done being a top 3 team. Feels like we are gonna get a mediocre manager and top it all off a below avg owner who doesn’t spend. This will slowly push us to the liverpool we had in early 2010s
PSV just won 0-8 which means Feyenoord can only become champions still when they win the three remaining games with 15-0 or so and PSV lose all. No chance
Also feyenoord will reach 84 point (if they win the remaining games) which would be enough for the title in most season.
Psv is just insane this season mainly because of a nice balance between experienced players who play there for a while and a new coach
Also psv is richer then feyenoord
> Virgil van Dijk said that Slot's playing philosophy would suit the club, describing him as "one of the better Dutch coaches at the moment”
Ah, yeah. Top twenty anyway.

Slot making sure this doesn’t end up like Amorim’s fiasco

well fucking thanks for that buddy. see that you do better next season please
Can't say the game isn't realistic sometimes lmao 😭 I'm playing a national league save and the amount of goals we end up conceding in the very last minute every fucking match
This really plays into the whole “the Dutch speak frankly” trope. I believe this plays well into our hands from a fee negotiation standpoint.
And here we thought Klopp could get blunt and direct
The Dutch and Belgians are a special breed of honest. I admire the hell out of it.
Yeah. I watch F1 and goddamn does Max Verstappen just say whatever the hell he wants.
And he's positively tame compared to his dad.
Wish Jos would piss off from F1. He's such a cunt.

this could be very fun once mr. slot meets pgmol

The Dutch and Germans compete to see who can be more blunt.

We shouldn't really care about the fee. If we think he's the main guy to take us forward, why quibble over 5m?

It's time for Liverpool to get Fünke
Nah. Fünke blue himself
Pep, Dyche, EtH, Slot next season

Every time I see that character I wonder how they got Haaland to play a character in Dune
He had them cover the hair growth supplements as part of the contract
Means much more to me than it probably should that he just informs everyone before anything official that he wants to come here.
After seeing boys fall short again and struggle to look like anything really a part of me believes turning a new page is the best move. Klopp knew that also and he doesnt want to make the same mistake Wenger did. Was a hero, stayed for too long and left a villain.
It’s crazy that we’ve gone from Alonso to Amorim, and now to Slot, and I’m no less excited. I have a good feeling about this guy.
I am from the Netherlands, not my team he is coaching but absolutely a brilliant manager on every level.
Why?
One word - character.

B to the R is definitely something Brendan Rodgers has called himself at some point
🎶I’m B to the R and this is how I roll, I bought Benteke but he can’t score a goal 🎶
🎶 I was always going to be a step up from old man Woy, did I mention that Raheem Sterling is a beautiful boy? 🎶
If BR came back, imagine how many “beautiful human beings” there would be in the team. Also, W. Endo would become the “Japanese Xavi”. /s
Skip all and we have Zerbi
Keep the envelopes away from him

Bbbrrrrr
OMG... Rodgers??? 😱
Hard work, intensity, character.
One word - bald.
Yes you little slot
I think there may be something in this rumour
Wow twice in an hour! Or nobody bothers looking a post or 2 down...
Or people scroll their feeds which are based on traction not every single post from a specific sub 🤔
I'm not following, does that mean it makes sense to post the same thing over and over?
It means not everyone sees every single thing which has been posted. I’m baffled why people always treat this as something new or unique to Reddit. Find any ‘posting’ of any kind on any social platform and you’ll find duplicates. It’s dumb but basically inconsequential.
Sure, but shouldn't the person posting be more cognizant? Surely they are familiar with what has been posted on the sub...

He's shooting his slot
Good. We don't want anyone who wants to pressure us, allegedly
His track record is decent, people are not willing to give him a chance because he's not flashy enough, give the guy a chance
what tier
Tier-rrific
Like players, coaches are also ambitious. Some will give you the political answer, others give you their straight answer.
Isn't this just re writing the earlier tweet quote?
Yes it is
I would also like a job at Anfield
the first one with the bottle to say he wants it. guts!
Source?
Slot himself
I know was a joke lol
Maybe he brings Santiago Gimenez with him???

With his blunt honesty, he's going to have a rough time with the "refs" in the EPL.
I'm pretty excited to see what the future looks like, but Virgil could have been a bit more enthusiastic than "one of the better Dutch coaches at the moment"
Virg, like the rest of us is probably sick of this saga and just wants to get on with stuff.
He’s probably pissed about how the season is ending and doesn’t care about this stuff right now
He doesn't want to throw Koeman under the bus as he might lose the armband at NL team
Exactly ...this !
Virgil will have a lot more respect for people like Van Gaal and his current national team manager Koeman than we do. Also the deal isn’t done yet so it makes sense to be a bit cautious.

What makes you think he's a mediocre manager?
That's a bit odd. I mean, their season is still going on.
PSV just won 0-8 which means Feyenoord can only become champions still when they win the three remaining games with 15-0 or so and PSV lose all. No chance
That doesn't instill much confidence in me over the potential manager.
Psv only lost 1 out of 31 games and scored 103 goals. So doesn’t tell the whole story about Feyenoord this season.
Feyenoord’s only lost twice too
Also feyenoord will reach 84 point (if they win the remaining games) which would be enough for the title in most season. Psv is just insane this season mainly because of a nice balance between experienced players who play there for a while and a new coach Also psv is richer then feyenoord
Why we not going for the PSV manager ?? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)
because PSV's squad is better and richer than Feyenoord's.
What doesn’t? The fact that he can’t win 3 games in a row 15-0? I know. What a scrub
