Same for me, especially considering before the 7-0 talking to people around me in the stands everyone seemed a little nervous and were just hoping not to lose haha.
The 3-3 Milan game was one where I was close to not watching the second half haha and I covered my eyes during the penalty shootout cause i was that nervous haha
You mean to see in person in real time? In the stadium?
Toss up for me between Wijnaldum's 2nd v Barcelona and Collymore's late winner against Newcastle
Anfield was insane for both
It's on my bucket list to see them play at anfield. One day. Oh I just meant in real time, like it playing out before your eyes, whether in person or live on TV.
Then I'd add in Alisson's goal, Houghton's goal v Italy in WC 1994, Bonner's penalty save in WC 1990 last 16, Gerrard's goal against West Ham, Mellor's goal v Arsenal, Keane's last minute equaliser v Germany in WC 2002 and Ibrahimovic's overhead kick v England
I was in an airport in Texas watching on a tiny screen in the corner of a packed bar with absolutely nobody else aware of a game going on
Believe that was the same day that Klopp was announced as Liverpool manager?
Bobby’s hattrick vs arsenal December 2018. His second goal is my favorite goal from that season. Dropped 3 players in the box and scored to bring us ahead
Liverpool related -
4-0 Barca comeback. I don’t anything needs to be said. Another special moment would be the comeback vs Dortmund. I think that was the first time the aura of Anfield really struck me. We hadn’t done anything special for a long time there since I had started watching in 2008.
Craziest non Liverpool Moment -
Agueroooooooo
Honestly I don’t think this will ever be topped. The teams, the circumstances, everything. Plus I watched it live with a United fan so that made it 100x better
Something non-Liverpool for a change.
Off the top of my head, the 2022 WC final was incredible.
I went from disappointment that Argentina were gonna stroll to win it ➡️ collapsing on the floor when Mbappe scored his second goal in a minute.
It wasn’t as earth-shattering as Brazil 1-7 Germany, but it’s one of *the* most seismic and greatest football games of the modern era. Funny thing was France didn’t even show up until 75 minutes.
>With the season coming to an end (as well as this ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar x Drake) I've been thinking pretty retrospective on a lot of things.

Who tf starts a football conversation like this😂
No one gives a shit about those two outside their country.
Seeing live, I have tough choice for best match/moment between Gerrard Cup final and both 4-3 newcastle games. On tv, has to be 2005. Although beating the scum 7-0 in a pub of scum fans was pretty nice
Well not professional but I will always remember when i was a kid playing rec soccer the other team shot the ball off the crossbar and down directly into the arms of my buddy Ryan…who was a defender. He caught the ball, paused for a second, turned and shoved it into our goalkeepers hands and then continued on like nothing had happened. Somehow the ref missed it. Was frikken hilarious
Istanbul has to be the number 1 in my opinion. That Milan side is a who's who of all time greats, especially their defence and midfield. To be 3-0 down at half time and pull off the second half performance we did, not just getting 3 goals back but the individual performances from Gerrard and Carragher were unforgettable. Gerrard was playing about 4 positions at the same time and covering every blade of grass while Carragher was putting his body on the line trying to stop everything. And then those saves by Dudek to deny Shevchenko! People forget that Shevchenko was legit one of the best goalscorers at the time.
We've had many glorious moments but nothing beats Istanbul for me.
Liverpool 5 Forest 0 in 1988. Late decision to go to the game instead of stay in the pub so ended up stood at the back of the Kop. Barnes was unplayable that night. Michel Platini was there and got interviewed afterwards and said it was one of the best performances he had ever seen.
Watching 7-1 at the 2014 World Cup on TV was one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had as a football fan. I didn't really have a dog in the race but still, the expectation was Brazil would be carried on the current of a mighty stream playing at home, but Germany had their number from so early, they completely blindsided them.
It actually felt cruel to watch eventually. It was clear some of the players were on the brink of tears and just wanted the match over. I don't think I've ever seen such a devastating result before or since.
Liverpool related: 2-0 and 5-0 win against United in 19/20 and 21/22 season respectively. Also, watching us lift #6 in Madrid.
Non-Liverpool related: 8-2 Bayern vs Barca.
\> as well as this ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar x Drake How tf is this relevant
Seriously, what the earthly fuck does this have to with it?
>futbol/soccer
If I never hear about those lads again it'll be too soon.
Cant forget to mention the new Switch 2 leaks.
Ooooo. Lemme go see. Thank you!
Had me wondering too. I’m indifferent to anything related to music so I had no idea if this was serious or not
I think someone was making a wee joke but y’all are too serious. [edit] The irrelevance is the joke.
Jokes can be cringe, though (as proven here)
It was a question of relevance and nothing was proved.
Ok fair that "prove" was a stretch, more like "as implied by these upvotes and downvotes"
No argument here!
In person: Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United. On TV: Liverpool 3-3 Milan

I wasn’t that bad for Istanbul but I did barely celebrate when Gerrard scored as still couldn’t see a way back. Smicer changed my mind on that front.
I said to my mate at half time, “we can win this, we need Didi on”.
I was 15 at the time and had exams coming up that summer, so I was already a bit of a nervous wreck even before the game

Longs winner against Germany for me, absolute limbs in the aviva

How about a goalie goal to get in the Champions League?
Why do Americans think the only spelling of football is fútbol

if i have to pick one...gerrard strike vs olympiakos 2005 if i have to pick two...gerrard strike vs west ham 2006
Gerrard's strike vs olympiakos was crazy and seeing how it lead to 3-3 Milan means alot.
Wales at Euro 2016 imo

In real life Origi's goal in the final, as an individual moment that beats Barca for me.
