right! I know heās been in loki S1, ant man 3, and then loki s2, but i really hope he still gets his own film because iām so hooked on his story in this new saga.
Also, Iād love to see it because you never really see any films whose titles/ main character is the bad guy, itās almost always the typical setup of the film being about the good guy defeating the bad guy. Gotta shake things up a little and break the mould a bit, yknow.
I watch all of behind the scenes marvel stuff ,credited and speculation sources , deadpool does a soft or hard reboot but it mainly a buddy duo movie that says goodbye to xmen universe and opens the door for the new era of marvel , I.e what we will see in 2025 but D3 is the fist step , new captain America Sam Wilson will be the creation of new avengers , fantastic 4 will be new centre point team along with avengers
I hope not. The whole point of the reveal of the council is to show that it's futile fighting him cause even if you win. There's an infinite number of him.
So why would you need to keep any of them alive. It would take away from how terrifying he is IMO.
Disney is definitely done with Kang, and with him getting an okay ending in Loki,I'm fine with that. Uh maybe Kang from Quantumania is alive but he probably isn't gonna get a big role since the entire controversy with the OG Kang actor Jonathan majors or sum...
I think with Jonathan Majors being fired Marvel wants to forget about his character asap. Recasting his role would bring far more attention to the entire debacle than just letting it go out like a candle in the night. Disney hates controversy so they are gonna bury the whole thing
I'm not so sure. The ending of Loki resolves the Kang story-line for an indefinite period of time. Kang variants are still all over the multiverse. But the TVA has it under control... until they don't. Disney can easily come back to the Kang plot line at anytime, but they can also table the plot line for as long as they want.
In the first Ant Man, Scott shrunk Yellow Jacket in to the Quantumverse, essentially turning him into (at least partially) MODOK.
It would be fitting if Scott did it again, and turned Kang into The Beyonder (recast of course).
Disney and Marvel are not going to just throw away a HUGE character because one idiot couldn't behave himself. They might change course and make some pivots, but they are not just going to throw him away.
If they do, it would ruin any future use of the character in comics, animation etc....
No but I hope we will see more Kang variants! Weāve established plenty of different-looking multiverse variants for other characters (obviously Loki, Peter Parker and MJ, etc) so it barely even needs to count as a ārecastā IMHO. Just a different variant.
Iām still gunning for different aged Kang variants, like one actor whoās much younger than Majors and one whoās much older (fingers crossed for Denzel for older, even scarier Kang!). It would be a nice, neat way to justify them looking different after showing us the council of (all Majors-looking) Kangs.
im hoping they borrow Aaron Clifton Moten from the new Fallout tv show and use him as a slightly younger Kang š¤š»
Exactly what I was thinking. Heās perfect for the role. I really donāt want them to drop Kang as a character
He really does look like a younger Jonathan Majors
Its as if he came from a parallel universe where Jonathan Majors and Austin Butler had a baby
Catching some serious āBeing John Malkovichā vibes with that š
I thought majors and Denzel Washington
Yeah... He also uses a lot of his acting qwerks... Not the first person to do so, but all I could see in him during fallout was Majors moves.
My friend says Cuba Gooding Jr haha I could see either
I thought he was Jonathan Majors at first. I had to look it up to be sure it wasn't. I fully support this idea.
This āyoungerā stuff again when heās older than Jonathan Majors
They were both born in 1989. But God yes this needs to happen.
Hey dont make fun of budget Jon Majors like that.
It's Kang. Even when he's dead, he's still alive somewhen
right! I know heās been in loki S1, ant man 3, and then loki s2, but i really hope he still gets his own film because iām so hooked on his story in this new saga. Seeing as deadpool will reboot marvel donāt think it matters anymore however I think heās alive plan was always to bring him back as BEYONDRR KANG
When did they say Deadpool will reboot?
I watch all of behind the scenes marvel stuff ,credited and speculation sources , deadpool does a soft or hard reboot but it mainly a buddy duo movie that says goodbye to xmen universe and opens the door for the new era of marvel , I.e what we will see in 2025 but D3 is the fist step , new captain America Sam Wilson will be the creation of new avengers , fantastic 4 will be new centre point team along with avengers
Thatās not a reboot
New captain America film with Sam Wilson I mean
Stop listening to the rumors they're almost never right
I hope not. The whole point of the reveal of the council is to show that it's futile fighting him cause even if you win. There's an infinite number of him. So why would you need to keep any of them alive. It would take away from how terrifying he is IMO.
This is what i was hoping for, they would keep killing him, and then another would show up.
Arenāt there an infinite number of everyone in the multiverse
The problem is that scene was too goofy looking and Kang got punked in Quantumania
Disney is definitely done with Kang, and with him getting an okay ending in Loki,I'm fine with that. Uh maybe Kang from Quantumania is alive but he probably isn't gonna get a big role since the entire controversy with the OG Kang actor Jonathan majors or sum...
Wouldn't be the first MCU character to be recast.
With the way marvel is moving, they probably wonāt recast
Would be a pretty big bummer to have one of the biggest villains in Marvel comics reduced to a role that never came close to ThanosĀ
I think with Jonathan Majors being fired Marvel wants to forget about his character asap. Recasting his role would bring far more attention to the entire debacle than just letting it go out like a candle in the night. Disney hates controversy so they are gonna bury the whole thing
That's stupid. He's literally THE most recastable character in marvel.
He's already fired tho
Theyāve moved on from the Kang storyline. It was pretty much wrapped up in the last episode of *Loki.*
I'm not so sure. The ending of Loki resolves the Kang story-line for an indefinite period of time. Kang variants are still all over the multiverse. For all time... Always.

I think so, but also we'll never know. Disney is done with Kang.
They're done with Majors but I doubt they're done with Kang
Disney and Marvel are not going to just throw away a HUGE character because one idiot couldn't behave himself. They might change course and make some pivots, but they are not just going to throw him away. If they do, it would ruin any future use of the character in comics, animation etc....
No it wouldn't Ultron was used after AOU along with Hydra.
But the Ultron from AOU wasnāt thrown away unceremoniously. The storyline they had written for him was ended organically.
I think that's a given.
confidently ok with saying he's not, with Majors getting canned, kang is DONE or at least his version of him
kang can be alive but jonathan majors is not.
Nope he was canceled.
Was he alive? Yeah Is he now? Probably not.
No but I hope we will see more Kang variants! Weāve established plenty of different-looking multiverse variants for other characters (obviously Loki, Peter Parker and MJ, etc) so it barely even needs to count as a ārecastā IMHO. Not after the allegations.
Kang died on the way back to his home planet....
I think he was intended to be and I hope he IS, but I feel like Marvel Studios might just drop the character outright.
NOBODY TELL OP ABOUT MAJORS
Iām guessing nobody told you that recasting is a thing
I canāt think of a single example where a character has been recast in any movie or series or where an actor has played more than one role
This right here gotta be the laziest reddit response ever rightĀ
The fuck are you talking about Don Cheadle literally replaced Terrence Howard for Rhodey
I donāt think thatās possible
Are you a robot? It literally happened. The role was played by one person in Iron Man 1 and then another person later.
How could they both fit inside the same suit?
Fuck off troll
Will you come to my birthday party? My mom is letting me have regular MTN dew instead of sugar free
What is op
OP refers to the person opening the thread/mainpost, in this case it's you.
