tbh the quality of Chipotle is better than Qdoba but Qdoba has guac, better queso, and more variety.
I wouldn't go out of my way for one over the other.
The QDoba in the Highlands is incredibly wack. Just last week, they only had one person working on Valentine's Day. The lobby was closed, so it was order ahead traffic only, but it still took my wife a while to wait in line and get through. The one employee there did great, btw, lest it comes off like I'm giving the staff the blues; it wasn't their fault.
Last time I was there, the manager was slinging his bag over his shoulder on his way out, while also having what looked to be a really uncomfortable conversation with the one employee working about having to reduce labor for the week. That one poor girl working was working late because her replacement hadn’t showed up yet, and she looked like she was stressing bad.
Mr. Manager was cutting out at 2:30pm though 🤷♂️
That whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
This describes most Qdoba’s in the city since COVID started. I used to go pretty often and now I only go a few times a year and leave feeling frustrated every time.
The bardstown rd Qdoba is terrible as well. Maybe it's changed in the last 6 to 8 months since I've been there, but it was so dirty I said I wouldn't eat there again.
Taco Choza has way better portions, fresher ingredients and I think they're cheaper lol. There's just the one location, but god I'm almost always a little disappointed when I go to those other two options.
Chipotle flat out tastes better. Paying extra for guac sucks but it's better so you get what you pay for.
I don't care for the queso at either place so that isn't a determining factor for me.
Chipotle everytime. Yes you may pay for guac at chipotle but it is way better than qdoba guac. That being said I live within walking distance of a qdoba and am there often
Qdoba was all over Southern California for about 18 months. They all closed because So Cal is 45% Mexican. it was clear to everyone Qdoba is NOT Mexican food by any stretch. Best Americanized Mexican food is Chuy's.
Currito is *the* fast casual restaurant in Louisville now. Better than Qdoba, Chipotle, and Moes. Plus, they have different cuisines, not just Mexican.
Used to love Qdoba. Then they dropped the shredded beef. Had Chipotle twice that I can recall....not impressed.
Agree that Moe's and Salsarita's are better.

100% agree with this
Absolutely.
Bandido
The correct answer.
Moe’s.
This. But I do prefer Qdoba over Chipotle.
King shit right here
Moe's is definately the proper choice.
Qdoba. The guac is free with entrees.
La Bamba for a fast takeout burrito

It use to be Chipotle, but the Bardstown road one is AWFUL.
It is 😭
This is my answer. Always chipotle over Qdoba, but the bardstown road one is waaack
Got food poisoning from there like 3 years ago and haven't been able to look at a burrito the same since 😭
The bardstown rd Qdoba is terrible as well. Maybe it's changed in the last 6 to 8 months since I've been there, but it was so dirty I said I wouldn't eat there again.
Really? Its night and day compared to the one downtown. Like insanely good
Louisville
Chipotle 100%, but they have been slacking.
Salsaritas
I wish there were more locations. I love their burritos. They can get pricy though when adding queso and guac.
I love Salsarita’s but $15 for a combo is insane…
Of the two, qdoba. But rather Moe’s or Salsaritas.
Salsarita’s
Salsarita’s. Not a fan of the others.
I used to love Qdoba, but their quality went downhill after the pandemic. I have never been a fan of Chipotle. So I’m going to go with neither.
Curritos.
Qdoba but none of the above
Chipotle
Taco Choza has way better portions, fresher ingredients and I think they're cheaper lol. There's just the one location, but god I'm almost always a little disappointed when I go to those other two options.
New Wave
DOBA!!
Qdoba
Qdoba
Qdoba. I’ve had chipotle twice, Saturday being the most recent, and it is no match for qdoba.
Moes.
Qdoba has less pretension, better sides. Bandido or New Wave of given a choice
Qdoba.
Between those two I like Chipotle. My favorite burrito spot is New Wave. Then Banditos and or La Bambas.
I love New Wave but after one of their burritos I feel like I ate a small toddler lmao
Haha. I do get the Totchos a lot just like a toddler, 😂
Chipotle flat out tastes better. Paying extra for guac sucks but it's better so you get what you pay for. I don't care for the queso at either place so that isn't a determining factor for me.
No it doesnt
Qdoba
Do any Qdoba locations in Louisville do breakfast? Qdoba's breakfast burritos beat both regular menus.
Not anymore which sucks because I loved those breakfast burritos.
Chipotle everytime. Yes you may pay for guac at chipotle but it is way better than qdoba guac. That being said I live within walking distance of a qdoba and am there often

Chipotle but I always seem to be closer to a Qdoba
Banditos
Neither would be my real choice, but I’ll take Chipotle with no flavor out Qdoba with a single flavor SALT.
Salsarita's
Qdoba. Although I’m partial to Salsaritas since I can walk there.
Qdobes!!!
Qdoba, no contest!
Moe's southwest grill- no contest
neither. authentic mexican
Neither.
Fiesta time.
As a cook that’s been working at Currito for the past year, I highly recommend you try us.
Between the two, Qdoba. But Salsaritas is where it’s at.
Qdoba 200%
Similar but completely different, New Wave Burritos
Literally any trailer in a parking lot that sells tacos and burritos > chipotle or qdoba
Real food.
Currito is *the* fast casual restaurant in Louisville now. Better than Qdoba, Chipotle, and Moes. Plus, they have different cuisines, not just Mexican.
El nopal
Used to love Qdoba. Then they dropped the shredded beef. Had Chipotle twice that I can recall....not impressed. Agree that Moe's and Salsarita's are better.
