Oh it’s a very good idea. It could literally have every single drink or snack one could think of, but still underutilized
Side note: that’s a really good name for a bar …
I am a medical student, which is a highly specialized study path requiring research ability and knowledge. Here is my 5th Reddit post asking which neighborhood is the safest.
Let me be the second! I recently used the search bar in this sub to see if my cat had been found. She was not found by a redditor. She also wasn’t found by someone using Nextdoor or Facebook. Considering most people in the neighborhood were well into their 40s when the internet launched, online help probably won’t bring her back to us.
I’ve been using Reddit search since 2011. It’s improved greatly since then. I mostly use google and then site:Reddit.com Booleans but even for stuff I want to find, I just search it here. I also don’t really have a high standard for searches anyway since I’ve been using google for over 20 years and it’s never been the best even when it was the best. So, you know. You find what works for you.
I have a few times. It’s how I found out that there were places that offered free plan b. I was paying 50 a pill before. Pretty useful and would recommend
Sure don't! On an unrelated note, anything fun happening this weekend?
Yes! I’m sitting at home hunting coins and bills, filming shorts and videos for my YT channel I’m launching soon-ish.
I think That would be a good name for a pub, The Search Bar. Although I Doubt anyone would know where it is or come to it.

Book smart ain’t all it’s cracked up to be
You are the first person I've seen claim that Reddit search is useful.
You have to Google the thing you want with the word reddit or the sub in there. Something like "best bars r/louisville reddit"

Bless that sweet summer child.
Reddit's search engine works better than Google's.

I'm moving to louisville soon, and I need rec on the best search bar in town. I need to ask if downtown is safe in it.
I heard the search bar has great happy hour specials
I typically do when looking for recommendations for businesses.
What’s that? I was just wondering if Louisville is dangerous.
lol, no

Nope, if you used the search bar you you’d know that.
I'm in town for a bachelor party, any recommendations???
Last I heard reddit search was dog shit, had it really improved?
Nope, just Google the thing and include the words reddit and louisville.
Did you search first to make sure no one’s made this post before
