Yeah no bad had the reach back door had.
Didn’t matter if you were an old boomer or even older. Didn’t matter if you just turned 21. Didn’t matter if you didn’t even drink because the food was good.
No matter your background everyone was welcome at back door. A thing you don’t see anywhere else in the city.
Thats something i always appreciated, whenever I would bring people there they would get a little uneasy, seeing how diverse the crowd was like they didn’t belong. but then they quickly see that it really was a place for anybody and no one cared about your background or what you looked like.
If you ever actually went to the bar, you’d realize how irrelevant of a data point this is on the timeline and how little anybody actually really cares.
Me g's has ripped me off. They even once put one of their friends drink on my tab and tried to claim that I wanted to buy her a drink after I complained. Wtf?
Ugh, the only time I was ever at the Bambi Bar, some 55+ year old dude wearing a veterans hat went on a rant about immigrants and then tried to get me to come out to his car with him
I'll pass
There is no such place. There’s only worse places.

Patrick's
Underrated, and FABD right next door for some good food
Mag Bar. But.. it's Mag Bar.
You mean it's better in every way?
That front door parking spot is wild though.
Outlook does a pretty strong pour.
Accurate
You’d probably like nachbar and the pearl. Nothing can replace the backdoor though
Nachbar was what I thought of first. Somewhat similar vibe and decent pours, albeit definitely not quite as strong as the backdoor.
Pops place!
They ever get their hot water situation sorted out?
Maybe R Place. Joe's older than Dirt. Saints. Mr G's has been coming into its own.
I know people working at all four of these bars. Your best chance of a heavy pour is Mr G’s. R Place pours the lightest shots in Louisville.

Joe's is great if you like being physically assaulted.
Bambi Bar

This “choose your own adventure” short story ended super abruptly. I thought we were going to the car.
I second this. I went in there for a drink and was surprised how heavy the pour was.
The Golden Nugget
Pops place
Cahoots
Eww
Cahoots still exist!?
We all wish
Used to be Sals in Lyndon. Maybe Air Devils Inn because they usually use two liters for the mixers and are always trying to skimp on them.
Stooges serves some strong bourbon and cokes as well
Probably depends on the bartender, but I've had good luck at taproom.
Taproom = Cahoots
Taproom is > Cahoots
Mag Bar baby
Kaelins
Come see us at Hollys pour house! Low key dive bar vibes.
NACH IS THE ANSWER (but not as crazy as the door pour)
Let's start a crowd fund and buy it!
High horse
Amvets Post 9
Hikes Point Lounge has always treated me well
Good time time to sober bro, have you seen how dope Louisville's parks are ?
You can both enjoy some brews and appreciate Louisvilles wildlife they’re not mutually exclusive.
Noooo. You must be a raging alcoholic since you asked about a bar!
Yeah, they've clearly never met a trail runner.
Sober? In this economy?
