Please go to the Shakespeare in the park events! Some of the food trucks did not show up lastnite for the performance so all there was to eat was ice cream lol
As a Worldport employee that would love more options, I’d welcome new food trucks with open arms. However, I do know there’s quite a few hoops to jump through to be able to go there, although I don’t know exactly what all is involved. Still would be worth looking into imo.
Drop your social media here! You have an Instagram letting people know when and what you’re serving! There are lots of food trucks that partner with bars for “event nights”, maybe reach out to a local watering hole as well?
I know breweries or bars without kitchens will often have food trucks up. The Hub for sure has had trucks posted there before. I've never been, but I'm pretty sure that spot would be great for foot traffic.
Humana by the Waterfront on Witherspoon.
Mellwood Arts Center on any Friday or Saturday night - get those drunken wedding guests!
Click through Do502 for events and then reach out to their organizers!
Go up to other food trucks, when you buy something ask them where you can usually find them. Creep on their socials to find out where they usually park.
Not sure about events per se, but reach out to factories in the area.
I can tell you from experience that the last place I worked for set up a rotation with a couple of food trucks and they were selling a lot of food in the 3 hours they would spend there at lunchtime... could probably have something going at a different place every day of the week and then supplement with events on the weekends!
Contact Sara Linker at JCPS, she schedules food trucks at their central office. They also have food trucks that go to schools for teachers and special training events for employees
Join meet up ,there're are over 50++ groups attached to the kentuckiana area. And most all groups involved have events, all are an untapped crowd -source of new potential leads. There is what appears to be a food truck roundup dining at night area near German town I think ,vague on details . Baxter Ave or Market at 1 AM on weekends .
First you need your permits, and simply look up upcoming events and contact the event organizers. Where it looks like trucks are randomly parked, like dowmtown during lunch, they get city permits for that. What you can do, is talk to companies about setting up on their properties, kinda like under the table work, too. One of the times I worked off Greenbelt, there was a lunch truck that would be outside.
Charlestown, IN has a spot that features food trucks on different days. Look up Food Zone on Facebook and contact them if that's something you are willing to do.
I can put you in contact with an office administrator that plans food trucks off of Preston (commerce crossing drive). They usually get good traffic from a few businesses. DM me for more info.

Great suggestion! I performed with them in the summer of 2015, and the food trucks were always one of my favorite parts of the shows.
I agree!
UPS Worldport has a steady presence of food trucks on property... might be worth looking into

I'm stuck in Jefferson County
It's a pretty competitive spot. Alot of people get there early and just leave their truck to secure the spot.
Look into doing farmers markets. My group is hosting a 5K later this year, but it’ll likely be in Oldham County.
Check out farmers markets…
Market Street near waystar is in need. Avoid Wednesday as they cater in lunch.
Tell me where you’re going to be next and I’ll see you there
Check out big office buildings too!
Download event apps like Park Upfront to know where events are being organized. Then connect with those event organizers to get your food truck in.
