Can we stop grouping those two together? Aaron knows without a doubt that what he's doing will destroy Kaylor. For all Kordell knows, Serena could be finally meeting a man that matches her on a conversational and maturity level (which is what she's wanted this whole time). Idk how anyone who's watched these two over the past few weeks could expect Kordell to have blind faith in Serena sticking with him, Aaron and Kaylor on the other hand have talked about future plans and hinted at loving each other.
