i think it did tbh, i think he was so unsure about them because he didn't know if she actually liked him or if she was just keeping him around and her blowing up like this in a way proved that she actually does really like him like he likes her
I don’t necessarily even think it was that he was turned on, I think Kordell was genuinely surprised Serena felt this strongly about him. I wouldn’t be shocked if he convinced himself to move the way he did in Casa because he felt like Serena probably wouldn’t even care like that (eg. When he told Serena him and Nicole kissed and she was happy for him).
All in all I’m actually surprised at how much I’m rooting for them. This is the first time that I’m rooting for a couple where the man was trifling in Casa. But I think knowing their history, and then seeing the remorse and how much he seems to be hurting as well is just so sweet.
I think once they sat down and were able to communicate he realized that her anger comes from passion and caring for him. Cause he first said I don’t think she cares it’s ego to Miguel. Then when she did talk to him he realized it was a love for him. Not turned him on but it was a sort of affirmation from her that he needed.

Yeah they’ve just had some fumbles not being on the same wavelength at the same time… he stayed on the dance floor when she left and he was devastated, she said she left the dance floor because they had already talked about both of them being open so that’s how she took the dance floor thing and didn’t mean to hurt him as bad as he took it. He’s been down bad for her since day 1 but to quote queen JaNa, he’s “taken so many L’s”. So when someone else makes a beeline for him, it’s hard to resist. He’s been so patient with Serena, the boys were encouraging him so much, and Daia was making such a strong play for him that he just gave in a bit. I don’t necessarily even think it was that he was turned on, I think Kordell was genuinely surprised Serena felt this strongly about him. I wouldn’t be shocked if he convinced himself to move the way he did in Casa because he felt like Serena probably wouldn’t even care like that (eg. When he told Serena him and Nicole kissed and she was happy for him). All in all I’m actually surprised at how much I’m rooting for them. This is the first time that I’m rooting for a couple where the man was trifling in Casa. But I think knowing their history, and then seeing the remorse and how much he seems to be hurting as well is just so sweet.

I think once they sat down and were able to communicate he realized that her anger comes from passion and caring for him. Cause he first said I don’t think she cares it’s ego to Miguel. Then when she did talk to him he realized it was a love for him. Not turned him on but it was a sort of affirmation from her that he needed. But it’s also why they say make up sex makes great sex. Anger is a strong emotion.
The way he responded to Serena being upset made my respect grow for him a lot. The opposite of Aaron

It was bad, I fucked up.” Daia too was like “we were in it, I’m physical, we were physical but he also said how much he cared for you.” Both of their stories matched verbatim and were exactly what Kordell said in the villa “it would take a lot to turn my head but you’re getting up there, etc.” They both told her exactly what went down. Vs. Aaron and Daniela with their trickle of info that they know doesn’t even scratch the surface of what went down

Yeah they’ve just had some fumbles not being on the same wavelength at the same time… he stayed on the dance floor when she left and he was devastated, she said she left the dance floor because they had already talked about both of them being open so that’s how she took the dance floor thing and didn’t mean to hurt him as bad as he took it. He’s been down bad for her since day 1 but to quote queen JaNa, he’s “taken so many L’s”. So when someone else makes a beeline for him, it’s hard to resist. He’s been so patient with Serena, the boys were encouraging him so much, and Daia was making such a strong play for him that he just gave in a bit. He really seems to care deeply for Serena and it’s good for both of them to see her displaying how much she cares for him too. If they can make up and realize they both really treasure each other, they could be in it for the long haul.

i think they’re equal parts jealous, awed, and confused by the fact that Kordell just SEES Serena for the beautiful and complex person she is; she’s too reserved, too strong-willed, too bold and self-respecting for any one of the other villa boys to feel anything toward her besides intimidation because she can and would and SHOULD eat every single one of them alive, they are so bland and one-dimensional. Kordell, immature Casa / Daia fuck-ups aside, has also shown how he’s a really magical and loving person, too, and i just super love seeing them grow together in what looks like an authentic relationship.
