I'd recommend check the CB guide in r/MonsterHunterMeta since it's very comprehensive.
Basically if you're going elem SAED, you only want to focus on elem damage and can ignore affinity and atk. So focus on elem attack, elem exploit, dragon conversion + furious and dereliction if you're alright with the drain.
But keep in mind that you need to have all the elem CBs to properly counter diff monster's elem weaknesses.
Even though cpp is spamable.. its still better to have more guard to stand your ground and have better position on cases of multiple hits, rather than using evade extender...
Not to mention the boost of Counter morph slash on SAEDs..
But if you really just want to CPP all the time and just spam SAEDs... Then.. more power to you i guess.. everybody got different taste buds...
Other than that... Dragon conversion + furious gives more damage with less downside than Mail of hellfire.. especially if you're running elemental SAED... for dragon element, dragon conversion + dragon heart is kinda broken..
My personal opinion:
Most definitely would need Guard, Offensive Guard, and Load Shells, try to max all if you can (Max Load Shells for sure though, makes it so you get max phials from yellow). Guard Up is optional, not really needed, but it could help a lot.
Also, since Primordial's CB is Elemental Phial and you're using SAED style, you don't really need Attack Boost since it doesn't boost the power of Elemental Phials, so I would recommend getting rid of a few levels of it, if not all if you're mainly relying on SAED.
TLDR: Get Guard, Offensive Guard, and Load Shells to max (Guard Up recommended, not needed), and you don't really need Attack Boost.
Otherwise, it's pretty good!
Dang, been an impact phial user I forgot attack doesn't affect it, might as well swap it with elemental exploit
I had magazine jewel but spamming counter silk bind skill is easier so I got rid of it and I suck at guard points so I passed on offensive guard
Weapon choice is important here. Physical SAED, impact phial, does less damage overall but helps with knock downs. You'll want some damage increase here with artillery and load Shells gets you there quicker. Guard and guard up help with chip damage and help open new avenue of attacks with guard points and counters.
If you're rotating different elemental phial weapons you'll drop all attack up in favor of as many element increases as you can fit on a set. Load Shells, guard/guard up, embolden and such still play a big part here.
It's a solid jumping off point, try to fit load Shells and the guard skills in to get into the rhythm of guard pointing and countering. Remember you can turn an SAED into an AED but holding back and pressing Y this will come in handy to chip more mobile enemies down and maintain good pressure prior to any knock down or viable SAED windows. Rapid morph is an ok comfort skill, more useful against PriMal and maybe some other quick movers who get up quick like risen shaggy to get the SAED off and back to neutral before being countered. Remember your wire bug counter skill is excellent for loading Shells and charging shield during roars and other predictable moments. Good luck!
Currently using primordial cb, I don't do well with guard points so I've been using the counter silkbind for my defense, I never really run out of silkbugs
I'll just saw elemental exploit jewel, gonna try replacing attacl with that and see how it turns out
Counter silkbind is strong but as you play more you'll just get combo while trying to counter if you have good move set knowledge and use it on the final hit then you're good to go. For elemental exploit iirc only triggers on EVZs of 25+ so it's a little niche and most builds 1 skill of it on element phials. Things like frenzy and bloodlust were the go to for max skills or 2 points in for getting more elemental damage.

-element exploit3 so more element damage
-dragon conversion3 should be better than CGore set for elemental CB, if you have the charm and want to use prime set
Element do so mich damage crit skill is secondary people just stack on elemental skill
Dragon conversion3 + Furious3 give similar dps to Dragon con3 + dieliction3, if you dont like hp drain just use DCon3 + Furious3 is a good sidegrade, using all 3 is also an option (strife3 + dragonheart 5 for uncountable meta set but holy i remember getting 1.5k-2k from single phile)

from a scale of 1-100. this is a 40 at max. you have completely random skills.
there are two playstyles and none of those want a set like this.

Not really tbh. I'd recommend dragon conversion mixed with furious build, all elemental resistances, and other element damage focused skills with that specific charge blade
There's a lot of good info in here but I'd also suggest getting rid of speed sharpening. Sharpness had no effect on the phials at all so of your spamming saed then you'll only really need to sharpen when they move to next area. Keep your sword charged so it doesn't bounce.

Offensive guard also only effects raw like attack boost. It's only necessary for impact
