I think this will be a very small incident and nothing much will come from it. Nancy is the type of coach to not be afraid of disciplining his players no matter how important. Cucho was very heated last game against Charlotte (don’t blame him one bit) but was pissed when he came out and I think took it out on a staff member. Dude is one of the most passionate players I have ever seen and I love that about him, but probably took it a bit far this time.
Either way, Nancy probably was okay with giving him much needed rest with how tight the schedule has been and our upcoming match vs Tigres
It happened last year with Nagbe. Nancy did not start Nagbe due to non injury reasons and called him out in press conference saying “Darlington knows”. He doesn’t put up with Bs.
This is the exact situation. I don’t mind him being pissed last week. But his actions crossed a line, and Nancy always preaches ‘team first’. Therefore the punishment needs to be the same whether it’s an MVP candidate or a guy who rarely plays. And that’s what they did.
And to his credit, Cucho isn’t making a big deal of it. He took the suspension, he’ll be back on Tuesday.
The world moves on. No big story to see here.
If this is the case, I'm even more impressed by him. I'm still waiting to find out the downside of you guys having him as a manager. Does he pull a Mourinho and just totally implode in his third season or something?
I think that’s exactly opposite of what my point is? Literally just said it will be a small incident and nothing will come from it, he just got a little heated and Nancy was fine with some discipline but also wanted to give him some rest anyways
Ya my bad I didn't hear the remarks taylor made early on in the game about the scratch so thought this was just some type of clickbait but Seems to have merit. Tommy scoops is always on point. Let's hope it'll do some magic for Tuesday.
Apparently spotted at the zoo with his kids, so the exact opposite of the Emil Forsberg allegations.
Cucho doesn’t have kids. Was there with his girlfriend and Ramirez and his kids tho so point kinda still stands
Lmaoo thats low
Oof that's harsh
probably related to the end of the charlotte game. And with the congested schedule, makes sense to kinda do it now.

That’s what I figured. Probably the right call for Nancy. Don’t want anyone spiraling, even if it costs a couple regular season points.

if this is the case, it’s been handled extremely well. no big fuss in the press, and sends a clear message to the rest of the team
Did it with Nagbe last season. Sure it’s a similar situation
Yeah, I agree. Y'all should trade him to Seattle and teach him a lesson.

Think yall are reading way to far into this.

“Would expect we’ll hear more in the postgame pressers.” You have lots of faith in MLS and its clubs to disseminate truth.
Or he’s being rested for the tigres game on Tuesday? I’m putting my optimistic hat on.
I don't understand why this is news? Biggest game of the year coming up . Why travel?
He can’t save Nottingham Forest! No one can!
Drama ensues.
Heard Al ______ need a new striker

He was seen having a heated exchange with someone on the staff when he was subbed off in the game vs Charlotte. I assume it’s related to that
