The big question I ask is how do we eliminate all the crazy people who are driving cars? How many of you have driven on the freeways and highways of America lately? I know you have witnessed these freaks driving in a way that is so dangerous to others. I see them all the time. Somebody told me 28% of the American population is mentally ill. Automotive OEMs and suppliers also now need to carefully consider liability issues, product liability laws, and contractual obligations to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in case ADAS features are involved in accidents or do not function as intended.
