I have a cute little velvet girl, and I know that the giant meat tanks are often just as sweet and loving as the little velvet hippos. They're just bigger. My brother had mastiffs - sister and brother. They thought of themselves as small dogs, and loved to sit on someone's lap. On the other hand, Jack Russell Terriers often think they're giants among dogs and are fearless. Gotta love dogs and their personalities.
