Cursed. I'm using RIF and it gives an option to reveal all spoilers in a comment, which I accidentally hit. I was pissed at first, but then I saw this and realized RiF was just coming in clutch.
so are they like, suppose to shatter the jars while in the colon? 💀
jokes aside. if you manage to not make a squeak while a glass jar shatters in your ass then you should be praised by god.
Yup, and in that interview, I'm pretty sure he also said he never went to the hospital or anything either, bc he has a wife & kids and didn't want them to find out.
That dude is all stages of next fucking level.
Dude you could have a stroke if you continue to lose that much blood. I had to get rubber bands on my hemorrhoids and then had a colonoscopy and had 2 polyps removed and had no blood loss since. See your dr. asap
The home test looks for traces of blood in bowel movements. Everyone over 50 in Australia gets a free kit every two years. If traces of blood are found, you're referred for further investigation.
Once you test positive one time the home tests are a waste of time. Get a colonoscope whenever your doctor recommends. They always find polyps in mine.
And no blood in your body anymore from the looks of it.
Seriously tho, was it actively bleeding as you were pushing it out or did it collect and once you went to take a shit it just poured blood out of you?
Looks horrifying.
The rate of colorectal cancer in young adults has been increasing in recent decades, and is now the leading cause of cancer deaths in people aged 20 to 49. A colonoscopy is recommended now beginning at age 45 in the US. If you have a family history of cancer/colon cancer, it could be much earlier.
If you start to have very dark stools, rectal bleeding, or constipation or diarrhea for more than a week, see a medical professional.
Holy shit! Are you ok? I had a colonoscopy done and saw nothing like this. Then again it was to see why I’d have regular pelvic pain that still hasn’t been understood to this day as I now chock it up to “it just be like that sometimes” and hope it stops eventually
You don't typically have strokes from bleeding, really only brain bleeds and thrombosis or embolisms.
I mean he could still die from shock of blood loss, but not a stroke typically unless they were about to have one
You are technically correct, as a stroke is technically either ischemic or hemorrhagic. Nevertheless, damage to the brain can result from a global reduction in perfusion throughout the body, such as shock or hypoxemia. This can be caused by hemorrhage, including GI bleeds. There are even specific regions of the brain that are known to be the most prone to reduced perfusion, and these tend to be injured first in these situations
If you are a hypertensive patient with your auto regulation set to a higher mean arterial pressure, then you can most definitely stroke if your mean pressure drops too low which it will when you lose blood
It’s uncomfortable to say the least. I was definitely wincing and gritting my teeth and sweating from how uncomfortable the whole ordeal was. But it was only a few minutes and I generally have a low pain tolerance. And then I went home and rested a few days and eventually was back to normal. It was totally worth it from the results. Waking up and starting every day with seeing a blood filled toilet bowl and going through excessive toilet paper to stop the bleeding was a pretty scary way to spend my morning especially after months and months of hoping it would just go away. I seriously recommend everyone who’s facing the same issue to just get it done with. It’s uncomfortable but it’s so worth it in the end.
Medical product consultant here.
Have seen this happening two times already.
Go to the ER right now! Heavy bloodloss after polypectomy can be dangerous.
All the best for you.
He did and from his [other post](https://www.reddit.com/r/VeteransBenefits/comments/1dukirh/hospital_frustration/) it seem like his hospital experience is not the best.
That's a lot of blood. Get to an ER and have someone drive you if you can. Be careful and let anyone know the moment you feel light headed. Try to sit down so you don't just fall and whack your head.
I had internal and external bleeding hemorrhoids that would make the toilet look like this. Worse part was half the time I felt i needed to poop is was just blood pooling making me feel I had to go.
Lol. I'm lying here on the couch after a colonoscopy 2 hours ago. Clearly, they perfed your bowel but why did it take a week to present? I think you had a miscarriage.
Clearly you have no basis that’s a bowel perforation. The rates of it being a perforation let alone a delayed perforation is less than 0.5% of all colonoscopies done world wide. Depending on what was done, ie a polypectomy, this would be normal especially once bowel function resumes and with a rough shit added with some straining could cause this. If this OP had a true perforation, they would not be standing around taking pictures, they’d be fairly criticality ill and already at the hospital. Stop spreading fake news. By the way, I’m an Internist, I KNOW what I’m talking about.
I've been there, man. I was perforated by my then doctor. Bled like crazy and had to spend time in the hospital.
Rest up and enjoy your soft food diet. Hope you're better soon.
Pfft, shit line that, they can drive themselves. Clearly they are capable of standing and playing on their phone taking pictures which means, while yes they should go to the ED, they clearly are not orthostatic. This should be addressed today, yes but to call an ambulance for this kind of shit, no.
Thanks for the gruesome reminder that I need to start skating again, more cardio, better balance, and to make use of the board I spent a month choosing and ordering parts for and putting together in a subconscious attempt to ignore my ex-wife!
Had polyps removed before, they said to expect one massacre in the toilet. It happened at the first poop. Hot forceps suck. Ive never bled after with cold biopsy
ER nurse here - I’ve actually seen this pretty frequently. Usually bleeding from polyps being removed. Are you taking any blood thinners? I assume they’re monitoring your hemoglobin levels
RN here. You need your hemoglobin & hematocrit level checked as you likely have blood loss anemia after this much bleeding. You might need blood transfusion and IV fluids.
Dang man
I'm going to 'get stuck like a pig' (colonoscopy and endoscopy both) next month, because I can fill my toilet bowl up with blood or be a cause for TP shortages, luckily not anywhere near that.
And honestly scared having the procedures is going to make my body do that afterwards.
Fear increased, thanks...
Hope it wasn't painful and you're healing up fast.
Something similar happens to me, but I have haemorrhoids...so I sometimes used to get blood in my toilet. I am sorry about what you experienced. I had an endoscopy up my anus too quite a long time ago. They found lots of intestinal ulcers and stuff, I have psoriatic arthritis and Crohn's disease.
When I had a colonoscopy they fucked it up royally resulting in me having to get an emergency Hemorrhoidectomy which they also botched royally, and now my butthole is as big around as a dime, and I live under the constant threat of outright dying if I ever get even slightly constipated. Sooo.... that's fun.
Oof that's rough, that you got it on your shoes too is an extra level of suck.
you made my day
He did not make mine cause I went back to look 😆
Used his foot to mash it down the bend
Was there anything wrong with ur colon or did they use a grater as a camera?

what kind of colonoscopy involves a jar?
Google jar squatter. It's a specific colonoscopy method.
so are they like, suppose to shatter the jars while in the colon? 💀 jokes aside. if you manage to not make a squeak while a glass jar shatters in your ass then you should be praised by god.
That has always been the most disturbing part. Like, yeah it's all terrible but dude makes almost no noise. Then tried to dig it out, *silently*!
That to me says his parents were in the next room
In a later Q&A or something like that, he explains that his wife and children were asleep upstairs when he did “it”.
Yup, and in that interview, I'm pretty sure he also said he never went to the hospital or anything either, bc he has a wife & kids and didn't want them to find out. That dude is all stages of next fucking level.
I never thought about it that much and now I wish I hadn't.
he has taken out his pain receptors
Smart move imo
If you are at the level where that is an appropriate size, you've come to terms with both pain and death.

Fun fact, the OG jar guy was Ukrainian and recently died at the front
Holy Hell!
(Long Sigh)
It looks like the doctor did the colonoscopy with a knife!
Pretty sure that dude died recently
I hate that I know what this is
Dude you could have a stroke if you continue to lose that much blood. I had to get rubber bands on my hemorrhoids and then had a colonoscopy and had 2 polyps removed and had no blood loss since. See your dr. asap
I’ve actually been in the hospital for two days. That’s exactly what they say it was, a bleed from getting a big polyp removed.
Hope you get well soon:)
Thank you.
Fuck that. Get well, ##Now.
Hurry tf up
This is terrifying. Thanks for sharing.
What caused you to get a colonoscopy in the first place may I ask?
Positive test for polyps and/or colon cancer. No cancer, and now no polyps haha.
Nice! Delighted for you! One of those home test kits? Curious what caused you to test (going through some intestinal stuff myself)
I’m not sure why I tested positive, but yeah it was the home test. Once a year I get in the mail from my provider.
The home test looks for traces of blood in bowel movements. Everyone over 50 in Australia gets a free kit every two years. If traces of blood are found, you're referred for further investigation.

It’s like it would collect and then I’d have to go. One of my docs said blood is a laxative.
No cancer, no polyps, no blood. A new you!

Jesus who let all the nerds in here 🤣 just kidding, I’m an internist and was thinking similarly. Our brains are stuck in patho-phyiso mode!
If you are a hypertensive patient with your auto regulation set to a higher mean arterial pressure, then you can most definitely stroke if your mean pressure drops too low which it will when you lose blood
lol, dr? that's fucking ER right there
How painful was the banding ??

How does losing blood cause a stroke?
“Complications” *Bleeds from your ass*
Some blood is normal, but this is perforation level shit (no pun intended)
I agree. That’s bright red blood so it’s bleeding in your lower intestine. I would be headed to the ER immediately with that picture
I was always some if it’s bright red then it’s ok. OP should be fine. /s
"Bleeding profusely out your ass is bad!" Thanks doc, what would we do without you
Having worked as a nurse in the ER I can tell you that things you might think are common sense are really not
Sometimes I think it’s more that people are in a state of denial than they don’t have common sense. “Eh it’s probably fine… it’ll fix itself…”
That’s also a fair point, my experience has mainly been the dumb ways people end up injured
I mean, hearing it from a professional is always a boon.
Oh my god that is my greatest fear. WOW!
i thought it was on r/periods for a sec HOLY SHIT that's a lot of blood
That was my first thought as well. I’d be panicking like a motherfucker if that came out my ass.
https://youtu.be/kJH-5G9NqHw?si=06cyH9rVZlZKzj2-
That is the correct reaction.
Please tell us you immediately went to the ER. I'm definitely only an ER-for-real-emergencies person and this is a real emergency!
I would employ considerably less aggressive wiping going forward. A feathers touch for a week or so.
Dude. I have a chronic gut disease that makes me have blood in my stool. This right here is not blood in your stool, this is stool in your blood…
That's a lot of blood. Get to an ER and have someone drive you if you can. Be careful and let anyone know the moment you feel light headed. Try to sit down so you don't just fall and whack your head.
Nice kicks!
They weren’t red before
Did the gastro doctor accidentally drill a new asshole in your back?
I had internal and external bleeding hemorrhoids that would make the toilet look like this. Worse part was half the time I felt i needed to poop is was just blood pooling making me feel I had to go.
You don’t fucking say?!
WOAH HOLY SHIT!!!!!
Had the same 6 days after mine last year. ER trip, admitted, fixed during 4 days in the hospital, then out. Wasn’t much fun, lol.
The exact same thing happened to my dad when he got a polyp removed, it was fairly terrifying but he was fine after an operation.
Wow I had polyps removed and that did not happen to me at all. Poor you. I feel for you
Who done your colonoscopy Ron Jermery
bro wtf head to the ER now
Not what I want to see 2 days before my colonoscopy.
Bleeding polyp or bleeding from where one was cut out. You need to go to the dr.
Scope was broke so they had to go with a Sony Handycam from ‘97
I've been there, man. I was perforated by my then doctor. Bled like crazy and had to spend time in the hospital. Rest up and enjoy your soft food diet. Hope you're better soon.
Not the greatest photo for your Christmas card but to each their own
Goddamn, was it a prison one?.
Makes me think that I should probably look in the toilet once in awhile after I go

Pfft, shit line that, they can drive themselves. Clearly they are capable of standing and playing on their phone taking pictures which means, while yes they should go to the ED, they clearly are not orthostatic. This should be addressed today, yes but to call an ambulance for this kind of shit, no.
Regardless, still calling an ambulance if it was my spouse.
Congratulations on becoming a woman!! /j
As a nurse, I can smell this picture 🤢
##ER. ##GO. ##NOW!
Reminds me of my monthly cycle. I hope OP is okay if this did come from their bum.
Jar - 1 Man - 0
So you went to the hospital right? RIGHT OP?
One Man One Jar
Eh, that's just an average week-of-the-month morning piss for us girls /s
New fear unlocked
Bruh at least your shoes look prettier after you dyed them
ER!!! Time to go!!!!!!!
You stopped skateboarding and your Skate Till You're Dead rug curse started coming true.
Haha, good spot!
Thanks for the gruesome reminder that I need to start skating again, more cardio, better balance, and to make use of the board I spent a month choosing and ordering parts for and putting together in a subconscious attempt to ignore my ex-wife!
that’s an odd color of poo. also, nice sneaker lol.

Is this the skibidi toilet the kids keep talking about?
Even your shoes turned red
You’ve got tampons right there what’s the issue?
Hold up. I’m almost done 🍆✊💦
Oh man, praying for you!
I've seen a lot of gore in my day, but this is my breaking point
You poor thing! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Had polyps removed before, they said to expect one massacre in the toilet. It happened at the first poop. Hot forceps suck. Ive never bled after with cold biopsy
Was the Doctors name mr hands?
Looks like when I had complications after having a fistula removed. Hope you heal up soon OP. 🙏
Are you light headed? Go to er immediately
Matches your shoe
Nice shoes
You might need to drink some more water, that looks really dehydrated...
Holy shit the noise I made after opening the image
Should prob go to ER if not already there
Excuse the phrase but I would have shit myself.
God damn, I’m not looking forward to getting this done next year.
Bro u alive??
Awesome. I had a colonoscopy TODAY. 🙃
Please go back, that’s bad. Please be ok….
That reminds me of going to the toilet after giving birth..goddamn OP hope you’re doing better soon.
ER nurse here - I’ve actually seen this pretty frequently. Usually bleeding from polyps being removed. Are you taking any blood thinners? I assume they’re monitoring your hemoglobin levels
Maybe grab one of those tampons and stick it up there.
Bro, you better get the hospital
You had a perforated colon, it was small since it’s been a week and you’re still alive and shitting. Please see your GI Doc asap.
RN here. You need your hemoglobin & hematocrit level checked as you likely have blood loss anemia after this much bleeding. You might need blood transfusion and IV fluids.
I bleed like this when I’m in a flare for ulcerative colitis. Longest was about 7 months.
Damn Dr Nolan striking again doing a colonoscopy with an iMax
Great now I’m paranoid… tomorrow is a week from when I had mine
Holy fuck
Hahaha 1st post I came across while opening my app, I’m closing that shit
jesus christ
Too much red wine, I get that a lot....
"Complications."
Jesus christ
This made me exclaim, "holy shit!"
Fucking hell!
Jesus, dude. Hope you recover well
Enough Reddit for today.
This is normal right, I get this around once a month.
‘Nurse, the 50 cal please’
Just drink it and put it back in.

i feel ya. been through it a few times.
When I had a colonoscopy they fucked it up royally resulting in me having to get an emergency Hemorrhoidectomy which they also botched royally, and now my butthole is as big around as a dime, and I live under the constant threat of outright dying if I ever get even slightly constipated. Sooo.... that's fun.
