Not a big fan of the filled in cupid, it drew my eye immediately in a bad way, but everything else is so gorgeous and YOU are so gorgeous too! The nose highlight is a little strong for my taste but I know that's more of a subjective thing and it doesn't look bad. All around, nice work and pretty result! I love how your cheeks glow and your eye makeup accentuates their shape so perfectly.
I absolutely HATE how normal it has become to cover Cupids Bows.
**There is no one-size-fits-all to Beauty!**
I have a side part and my younger cousins were making fun of me for it. So I parted my hair in the middle on my long OVAL shaped face that is bottom heavy with a long jaw.
They told me to put it back to a side part. đ Like yeah, no shit. Make up and hair cuts are meant to be planned around your actual facial features, NOT what is currently in style.
OP has beautiful lips. Covering up the Cupids Bow just draws your eye to it, and looks awkward.
omg the other night i thought to myself.. maybe i should change up my side part.. iâve had it since i can remember. the second i did it & looked at my oval face i said NOPE đ.
Wait, is it an oval face thing? I think my face is somewhere between oval and diamond and I look fine with my usual side part or my hair pulled back. Middle part makes me look bizarre.
Same. I have a cupidâs bow and I have never once thought of hiding it through makeup. I think cupidâs bows are so cute. Very rarely have I seen people with the ability to cover theirs and have it actually look good irl. It might look okay in pics, but much like over-lining lips and heavy contouringâit looks awful irl. I feel the same about my side part too. Itâs only recently that it feels like gen z has declared entire, timeless styles are suddenly âdatedâ. Not everyone looks good with a middle part, or without bangs or a cupidâs bow etc.
my face is semi oval, it can still handle the middle part...but my cowlick can't bahaha. it will NOT let me keep a middle part. what works for my body is what works for me
HAHAHAH this exact thing happened to meeeee. My little sister is 15 years younger than me and tried to tell me that side parts are out. My face shape is the same as yours.. I said girllll, this head is not made for a middle part, idc what the trend is LOL I would need serious bangs to make a middle part work.
Yeah people who just follow trends without knowing what it does and if it suits their face or look is annoying. Iâve been filling mine in for 20 years though because I want to shorten my philtrum and I like that shape of lips.
Agreed. I think part of the issue is that covering the cupid's bow is just not that cute of a look, but if you're gonna do it, you gotta use a matte or satin lip. Throwing a gloss on just draws attention to the cupid's bow and makes it look like a kid who doesn't have the motor skills to draw inside the lines.
SAME the filled in cupid is the very first thing I noticed. Cupids bows are so pretty and feminine i don't get the trend of over lining them it looks so weird
Agreed. There is no need to line your lips. This just looks odd. The liner is brown, the lips are red. It looks unnatural and weird. Just skip the lip liner. You donât need it. Your lips are already well defined.
My mom did this in the 90s around the time I was born and warned me about not overplucking constantly when I started plucking. I donât wear makeup other than mascara and very occasional eyeshadow and so happy my brows always look good as I maintained their natural shape
I feel like it comes from like, anime or something, with the round mouths. I agree, don't do it. It bugs me. I think it started because people wanted their lips to look bigger than they were.
Is that what it is?! I didnât understand the trend at all, but that makes sense. I donât really care if someone has a Cupidâs bow or not, but I find it so odd when people hide it like itâs a blemish.
I thought people started doing it because they wanted their lips to look fuller. Like if you over line the cupids bow it would add more height to the lip.
I donât either.
Hear me out-
It looks terrible in pics too
A girl on another thread earlier gave herself a damn mustache the overline was so hard but the light still hits her Actual lip line; so between the lines the light creates and the color she drew on above it tragedy struck.
I know I prefer a more natural approach but this to me is like walking around with spinach in your teeth.
Itâs not a look that I care for but itâs not my face. To each their own; but I see so many gorgeous people who ruin their looks with too much makeup, enhancing features they donât actually have. Makeup is magic but we should let ourselves shine thru.
Op is stunning with a beautiful natural lip line. I hope she shows it off in the future- her cupids bow is perfect.
Because it's what is in style at the moment and makes your lips look bigger, which is what everyone wants this day and age. Hence fillers, surgeries, etc.
Like, you are very naturally STUNNING so the overdrawing of the cupids bow is not necessary and itâs the first thing my eye goes to, detracting from your gorgeous-ocity.
I donât get why non-matching brown lip liner is a recurring trend. It always looks like hyperpigmentation to me, especially when itâs overdrawn since... just outside the lip line is exactly where people get hyperpigmentation.
A lot of dark skinned women with 2 toned lips use it to make the transition between our dark skin and pinks/nudes/reds lipstick on our lips look better. If I wore pink lipgloss without brown liner, I would look like a clown, esp because my lips are big. If you donât match the liner to your skin tone, it just looks off. A lot of lighter skinned women follow this trend not understanding the original purpose and it doesnât actually work for them..
I know there was a trend in the 90s to use berry/red to line your lips without any lipstick, but obviously theyâre not going for that look.
I mean cholos did what sheâs doing, but much harsher on the brown color. Light or dark, didnât matter. My aunt was a light skinned cholo đ€·đ»ââïž
Same thing as the berry liner, the stark contrast is intentional. similar to goth makeup. Thatâs not the trend tho. The trend is very specifically the way black/brown women have always done and continue to do their lips. Brown liner+pink/nude combo.
improvement for sure, but i think the colour of the lip liner is a little bit too harsh compared to the actual lip colour, maybe try a reddish or pink lip liner?
also please take advice number 1 because it looks very obvious that youâve overlined your cupids bow, it looks drawn, i think it would be much better if you only lined your actual lips
It's basically Walmart filled lips lol... people throw chemicals all over their lips to make them irritated and "plumped" and then draw way over their natural lip line. It *never* looks good in my opinion.
It's sad how many people look down on small and/or thin lips now-- it's not even an artistry thing like eye makeup, it's so clearly an insecurity thing.
It's a trend for non brown or dark skinned women, because brown and dark skinned women have been doing this for many years and it never fell off. They use a brown or dark brown lip liner to blend the pinks and nudes and it looks better.
Unfortunately a lot of lighter skin or non brown/black women are using it beacause it's trendy. Unfortunately they don't try to use lip liners close to their skin tone, that's why it looks weird.
This is not blended and the covering of the cupid's bow is not emphasizing your lips. Idk what you're going for but just basic lining would be perfect.
Sorry I donât see how this is blended I can literally see the outline almost like a drawing on paper, also Cupid bows are cute idk why youâre trying to hide it
Your lips are too full and project too much for you to do that ugly Cupidâs bow thing. Theyâre lovely as is. It stands out terribly and looks like you accidentally smeared your lipstick.
I agree. The entire lips look like when you put too much gloss on and rub your lips together to even it out and get it way over the lines but just didn't clean it up.
Iâm gonna agree w most the comments and say stop over drawing your cupids bow. Lips are such a beautiful part of a womanâs face so def donât hide the shape. Also the color combo of brown lipliner and a red gloss looks weird. It actually doesnât look blended at all. Maybe do the brown liner w/ a nude lip or the red gloss w/ a red liner or no liner at all..
You have beautiful features. Absolutely gorgeous! In terms of the make-up:
- Stop over lining your lips full stop. It doesn't look good at all and if it is this obvious in photos (it is), it will be worse IRL
- You need to blend your lip liner more. I can still see it as a distinct line separate from your lipstick. I don't know your natural lip colour but if your lips are one colour (WOC don't always have the same colour top and bottom), perhaps try a liner the same colour as the lipstick.
- Tone down the highlighter especially on your nose. It's creating a sort of 'stepped' look from gold between your eyes to rose-gold on the bridge.
cupids bow is a beautiful trait, embrace it. i used to overline into a cutesy little round lip but once you embrace it thereâs no going back. itâs much more classy
I'm looking at it closer and I'm not sure that's lip liner extended on the sides, I think it might be that she overlined so abruptly that the transition from the full middle area to the outer corners looks exaggerated and cartoonish? Either way its not looking right
I mean this with absolute love and respect - overlining your Cupids bow looks like a moustache. Especially in this colour. Youâre beautiful and have the loveliest shaped lips. I know itâs a trend but I promise you youâre better off letting it pass without partaking (it will pass and weâll all be like wtf was that all
about) â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I personally think your lips look super cute and ur very obviously wearing makeup. I like the look. I think the color combo is cute, and I wouldnât change anything!!
I'm fine with the overlining. it's a matter of taste IMO. I personally only like overlining for matte lips though since reflection of non-matte lips gives away where your real vermillion border is.
For me the issues are that are nose highlight is too thick and that your wing seems to start prematurely. I would take it further to the edge of your eye. I think you can still wing it out before going all the way to the edge to open up the outer corner of your eyes, but it's pointless if your lashes are closing off your outer corner.
Makeup artist of 13 years here. you have a beautiful cupids bow! I would not recommend covering it with lip pencil. Also, because your lips are glossy, your cupids bow catches the light and makes the overlining more obvious. Otherwise, I love your lip combo.
When I glance at you I think OOOH PRETTY! Then within 2 second Iâm distracted by the liner in the cupids bow, the white eyeliner, and the shimmery line down your nose. Itâs just too dang much for anyone, especially someone naturally pretty.
Agree with not cutting across the cupids bow. You can still over line the Vermilion border (the rim of paler skin that separates the red part of the lips, called the vermilion, from the surrounding skin) without cutting across.
You are really pretty but the fat white stripe down your nose looks just weird, and the lipliner needs blending. Itâs honestly a bad colour match for the lipstick. Also it looks way too flat over the Cupidâs bow.
Okay if you are over lining, it HAS to be matte, the gloss makes the cupid brow so obvious and highlighted and makes it look odd. If you want to add gloss just add a bit towards the center.
I normally wouldn't recommend over lining, but if you like it, try it with an opaque muted darker lip color, perhaps the 2016 style liquid lipsticks were suited better for over lining
I agree with other comments that you shouldnt overline the cupids bow, but I have one and the last time I ever wore lipstick, every time i put my lips together my cupids bow would get all smudged and messy. It looks intentional, and the opposite of my experience with makeup. Looks good to me lol
I would try no liner. It immediately drew me to the cupids bow but it may also be the color, try something closer to the lipstick or blend that one more. Itâs not blended and looks like eyeliner almost
Youâre so gorgeous!!! I love the lip color, but I think your natural Cupidâs bow is stunning and should be highlighted and not lined over. You got what so many want!
I love it. The colors work so well for you! I agree with the comments about over lining your cupids bow. You have a great natural shape and I think you should try going with it instead of over lining. Influencer face is meh anyway!
You look gorgeous but personally I don't think those two shades of lip liner and lipstick go together. I would either change the lip liner to a more mauve-ish colour, or change the lipstick to a nude/brown.
I also echo what everyone else has said about the cupid's bow, I think it would look beautiful if you embraced it rather than cover it up.
General consensus is still #1 imo.
This still doesnât look blended, to me.
I still think covering your cupids bow distracts from your natural beauty.
I'm wondering if maybe you posted the initial picture by mistake? This is still very unblended and you have overlined your cupid's bow. In case this is actually the second picture and you just don't know what it means not to overline - not overlined lip liner should follow the actual path of your lips. That means in your case (and mine) you will clearly see the v at the top because it has been outlined. The way I learned to do lips, (i'm 31 with a prominent cupid's bow) is actually to start by making an x that follows my cupids bow and then fill in from there. This ensures that I made straight lines.
At the end of the day, a cupid's bow like a widow's peak hairline and dimples are things not everyone has. People who don't have them want to see them enhanced because they don't have it. Some peple even draw on cupid's bows. People who do have them want them to go away. Do what makes sense to you. If you want to enhance rather than change your natural features, don't overline. If you don't care about your natural features then overline.
As for "unblended" women of color have been doing this for decades. It recently came into popular fashion when white celebrities decided to do it as well. I say do you.
I feel that look would be absolutely awesome without the lip liner, and a more blended nose. I donât like the liner. Please try #1
I think you should go for a lighter shade. The unblended lower line makes it look weird. If you want plumper lips look, you could add a small line on the creases and a bit more on the edges of lower lip to mimic shadow instead of the over line.
I don't Ike it, liner too dark for the lipstick, they just don't match or blend well. I don't care for the fill of the cupids' bow ..just looks too fake to me, but everyone likes what they like..try posting a photo lining your own lips without the cupid bow fill in then decide what you like better..
Idk what the comments are talking about I love the look of this picture AND the previous one. If you like to put Lip liner over your cupids bow you should do it donât listen to anyone else đ
I'm on team no lining of the cupids bow. I agree with another commenter that the nose highlight is just a bit too much. You are stop traffic beautiful. You don't need the exaggeration.
As a girlie who also prefers a filled in Cupidâs bow I just want to suggest something that helps me make it less noticeable- matify your actual Cupidâs bow! I usually line, press in a contour and blush powder, use setting powder, then gloss. It keeps the natural bow line from shining and standing out. That said, your lips look gorgeous and the color combo is really pretty.
1) stop going straight across on the cupids bow.
2) if youâre going cool toned with the lip liner, go cool toned with the lip product and vice versa. They are fighting each other
Swap to a matte lip if you are going to over-line anything, because with a glossy finish you can see the cupids bow and natural lip shape shine and make the over-lining very apparent and unflattering. If you want fully lips with a glossy finish, try a plumping gloss.
It looks better blended but it still looks like youâre over lining your lips. I see lots of people doing this. Not sure why. People like Kyli Jenner, I assume, are the reason. But I could be wrong.
The cupids bow is the most cherished part of human lips. Yours is deep and beautiful. Let it shine pretty woman, show that bow.. Many don't have one and wish they did.
I'm a guy who stumbled across this on main page and know nothing about makeup but dear God please listen to the other people telling you to stop over painting the top middle of your lip. I can see on your profile you've been doing it for over a year... And people have been telling you to stop doing it for a year. You're pretty but it looks distractingly bad. Please take advice from people who know better than you.
There is barely any difference between the two photos. Blend means BLEND, as in make the liner indistinguishable from the rest of the lip. Yours is still very visible.
Also, you're still covering your cupids' bow, which makes your lips look very boring. You have an opportunity. Use it.
I thought #1 even before I saw the text, so yeah probably. Honestly, when I can tell people overline their cupid bow it just reminds me of when I was a kid playing with makeup. Any time I can tell something is overdrawn though it feels like a mistake, imo it should be as undetectable as possible. That's personal preference and taste though. I think cupid bows are a beautiful feature and idk why everyone wants to smudge them. It doesn't give the effect that they have a different shaped lip, it just looks like you overshot your lipstick.Â
Can you do another version where you implement *both* suggestions? Your cupids bow is so gorgeous, it seems like such a shame to over line it like that.
Kind of reminds of... just took a giant bite of a chicken wing and smudged but oooohh weeellll.
You missed the v in the top of your lips. Itâs well defined. I donât need to make a straight line. It doesnât look good. It looks like you didnât look in the mirror because of the obvious cupids bow that youâre drawing over. Maybe use a color that matches the lip color. One is pink the other is brown.
Alright so clearly people cannot take the hint that OP has a stylistic preference for over lining her cupidâs bow đ I think you look beautiful OP! Maybe you could try a lip liner thatâs a tad lighter to soften the line? Either way, if I saw you in person I would probably just think âthat girl is so prettyâ
Iâm not a fan of the harsh nose contour, and I think you should try filling in your bottom lip a little more with the lip liner to create a nice gradient. But also, darker lip liner + lighter lipstick is a look in itself, so if thatâs what youâre going for, keep it. I think your makeup looks really good. Whether you wanna over line the Cupidâs bow or not is up to you; you look good either way. People are so dramatic lol
I have to disagree with everyone, over lining you cupids bow is cute and it makes you lips look really pretty. Yes you have a naturally beautiful lip shape but that doesnât mean youâre not allowed to change it when you want. Cause if thatâs the case why ever wear eyeliner or contour, why even wear makeup. I genuinely love this sub but people tend to hate on full face and always pull the line â it never looks good irlâ but the thing is⊠it does look good. Their skin usually looks fine and the over lining looks gorgeous. But yes gloss is gonna highlight your cupids bow so maybe donât wear any if it bothers you, me personally it still looks fine. Another tip is to not over line the cupids bow but just connect them, itâs softer that way. And please donât drop the liner it looks so good. My only critique is to make your nose highlight more subtle like how it was the first photo. But keep slaying Gorgina George <33333
I know you're getting a lot of criticism here op, which is since you're looking for tips to improve but I also just want to chime in and say you're really pretty!
Iâm sorry but this just looks crazy to me you can do obviously see the outline of your real lips in *both* pictures.
It looks like you have a smidge of dirt on your upper lip or somethingâŠ
Not a big fan of the filled in cupid, it drew my eye immediately in a bad way, but everything else is so gorgeous and YOU are so gorgeous too! The nose highlight is a little strong for my taste but I know that's more of a subjective thing and it doesn't look bad. All around, nice work and pretty result! same, i have one n imo, i prefer my cupids bow to show then over line
Agreed!
Your cupid's bow is beautiful and you're covering it
So many people do that and I don't understand why.
Iâm convinced this is the trend ppl will look back on and wonder âwhyyyy did I do that?â. Like the 90s with skinny eyebrows.
It is EXACTLY this decade's skinny brows
It doesn't even hide the cupids bow. Just looks like you lined 'em in the dark.
Looks like fudge popsicle leftovers
Yea, it just looks like a mistake.
Yeah, I'm 65 and still paying for the over tweezing. Lol
nah i still love that look of course itâs not for everyone but it can look good on others
Itâs more those of us who plucked them clean away so they ever grew backâŠ
My mom did this in the 90s around the time I was born and warned me about not overplucking constantly when I started plucking. I donât wear makeup other than mascara and very occasional eyeshadow and so happy my brows always look good as I maintained their natural shape
I feel like it comes from like, anime or something, with the round mouths. I agree, don't do it. It bugs me. I think it started because people wanted their lips to look bigger than they were.
Thin eyebrows are nowhere near overcovered lips
lip blindness
As someone who is still being victimized by her 90s over plucking, I wholeheartedly agree.
I think bad lip filler often obscures the cupids bow and so many influencers have bad lip filler that itâs become a trendÂ
Is that what it is?! I didnât understand the trend at all, but that makes sense. I donât really care if someone has a Cupidâs bow or not, but I find it so odd when people hide it like itâs a blemish.
It's this and if I think about it too long I realize it's so fucked up on many levels
Yesss these girls that once had a cupids bow lose it to filler but keep filling up to the same point
I thought people started doing it because they wanted their lips to look fuller. Like if you over line the cupids bow it would add more height to the lip.
I donât either. I have a cupidâs bow and I have never once thought of hiding it through makeup. I think cupidâs bows are so cute. Yes, she is gorgeous and I love her makeup with the exception of the lip color and shade. She has a beautiful natural lip shape.
Me neither. Like look at Rihanna, someone I consider one of the most beautiful women in the world and she has a very defined Cupidâs bow.Â
Rihanna is fâng stunning. A goddess.
At least, if they're gonna do it, use a matte color. When it's shiny like OP's it just looks so painfully obvious.
OP still looks so good either way, but it makes it look like a skill issue when her cupids bow is *that nice* đą
I have a cupids bow and I just get tired of the same shape so sometimes I make it rounder
I have no idea! To me it honestly looks like when little girls play with their motherâs lipstick!
I do It sometimes. I like the look lol sometimes I like giving Bratz Doll đ
Itâs to make your lips look larger & like filler lol
It looks so stupid ughhhh.
Because it's what is in style at the moment and makes your lips look bigger, which is what everyone wants this day and age. Hence fillers, surgeries, etc.
I donât either. It looks so stupid
The most horrifying beauty trend of the last few years.
I mean itâs very simple itâs a way to make the lips look bigger and also to shorten the philtrum. Been doing it 20+ years.
Free the Cupidâs bow.
Does not make the lips look fuller. Let the bow out!!
I hate this trend. EVERYONE CAN TELL AND ITâS NOT CUTE!!
I have a cupid bow i find it prettier when its covered
To my eye this looks even more obvious than #1 so my initial advice still stands (as a professional makeup artist).
Like, you are very naturally STUNNING so the overdrawing of the cupids bow is not necessary and itâs the first thing my eye goes to, detracting from your gorgeous-ocity.
yeah, it looks a bit unnatural and clearly drawn on, it is distracting from the rest of the look
OK, so weâre all in agreement then. I was thinking âSheâs way too pretty for such shenanigans.â Free the Cupidâs bow!!
I love a cupids bow why do girls try to hide it ?!?!
never saw your post before. this looks super unblended to me, like an intentional ombrĂ©. the natural lip shaped is so nice, and the brown you drew overtop of your cupidâs bow completely covers it and looks like a mistake. i WISH my lips looked like your natural lip line
I donât get why non-matching brown lip liner is a recurring trend. It always looks like hyperpigmentation to me, especially when itâs overdrawn since... just outside the lip line is exactly where people get hyperpigmentation.

personally? i love the brown lip liner as a brown woman who deals with hyperpigmentation
improvement for sure, but i think the colour of the lip liner is a little bit too harsh compared to the actual lip colour, maybe try a reddish or pink lip liner? also please take advice number 1 because it looks very obvious that youâve overlined your cupids bow, it looks drawn, i think it would be much better if you only lined your actual lips
You have a gorgeous shaped upper lip, try without the liner just to see how it looks x
Explain to me like I'm five why you keep drawing over your beautiful natural lip shape đ
I think itâs a trend rn
It's basically Walmart filled lips lol... people throw chemicals all over their lips to make them irritated and "plumped" and then draw way over their natural lip line. It *never* looks good in my opinion. It's sad how many people look down on small and/or thin lips now-- it's not even an artistry thing like eye makeup, it's so clearly an insecurity thing.
We can thank people like Kylie and Kendall for that đđ
It's a trend for non brown or dark skinned women, because brown and dark skinned women have been doing this for many years and it never fell off. I keep waiting for you to stop over lining your Cupid's bow. Be proud of the shape of your mouth. It's beautiful.
Def remove the overline but otherwise itâs so good!
This is not blended and the covering of the cupid's bow is not emphasizing your lips. Idk what you're going for but just basic lining would be perfect.
Sorry I donât see how this is blended I can literally see the outline almost like a drawing on paper, also Cupid bows are cute idk why youâre trying to hide it
I still want to see #1! Just out of curiosity at this point bc ur makeup is beautiful
Just click on her username and youâll see all her posts.
In terms of the make-up: - Stop over lining your lips full stop. It doesn't look good at all and if it is this obvious in photos (it is), it will be worse IRL - You need to blend your lip liner more.
Now, this is pretty. It softened up your look! I would still suggest removing the overline because your cupids bow is gorgeous.

Pls someone put this at the top lol. Everyone worried abt the cupids bow but this is looking a little bit too much like a Glasgow smile to me.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
I'm looking at it closer and I'm not sure that's lip liner extended on the sides, I think it might be that she overlined so abruptly that the transition from the full middle area to the outer corners looks exaggerated and cartoonish? Either way its not looking right
Agree, itâs giving Joker vibes
Maybe remove the overline? Your cupidâs bow is so beautiful!
I mean this with absolute love and respect - overlining your Cupids bow looks like a moustache. Especially in this colour. Youâre beautiful and have the loveliest shaped lips. I know itâs a trend but I promise you youâre better off letting it pass without partaking (it will pass and weâll all be like wtf was that all about) â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
The nose highlight is too strong
Donât line your cupids bow like that, itâs the first thing I noticed and it makes your lips look over-lined.
Agree with not cutting across the cupids bow. You can still over line the Vermilion border (the rim of paler skin that separates the red part of the lips, called the vermilion, from the surrounding skin) without cutting across.
Try a darker red! Also do whatever makes you feel confident because seriously you have such a dreamy lookđ©·đ©·đ©·
I think it looks good and suits you
You are really pretty but the fat white stripe down your nose looks just weird, and the lipliner needs blending. Itâs honestly a bad colour match for the lipstick. Also it looks way too flat over the Cupidâs bow.
Can someone please explain why woman no longer want cupid bows? I'm not at all understanding the overdrawn lip trends.
imo, the lip liner eats. i would, however, soften the front of your brows slightly so itâs not quite so harsh. youâre stunning!!
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
I think the general lip color/shape looks good, but I haaate the brown liner. Would switch it for a color closer to the lip color
Can we see how things look like with no liner? Just lip gloss on the lips only.
Although I know overlined lips are intentional they just look like poorly applied make up to me and instantly obvious
I love it! ALSO U LOOK SO GORGEOUS!
The brown overlining just doesnât do your beautiful face any justice.
Skin is skinninnghg âšâšâš
LOL looks like you applied some lipstick and then chugged a smoothie
Remove the liner entirely. It looks like a brown line around your lips and doesnât really match the colour
Okay off topic but you could easily play a Disney princess in a live action Disney movie lol
Lip liner is out dated.
Don't overdraw the cupids bow , just not necessary. Otherwise, stunning.

the filling of your cupids bow makes it look like you have a tiny mustache.
I stopped on this photo because I thought we were going to talk about the night light down the nose.
General consensus is still #1 imo. This still doesnât look blended, to me. I still think covering your cupids bow distracts from your natural beauty.
All these people complaining about the cupids bow. I actually like the overdrawn cupids bow look. Do what makes you happy OP.
Not to be rude but your lips would of been perfect if you didn't overline your lips, it never looks good.
I think you ate stunning but covering your beautiful Cupid's bow should be a crime !
Use a lip liner more close to the lipstick color.
Please try #1 I think you should go for a lighter shade. The unblended lower line makes it look weird. If you want plumper lips look, you could add a small line on the creases and a bit more on the edges of lower lip to mimic shadow instead of the over line.
I love the unblended lip liner look, itâs common in Black British communities :) I wouldnât over line the Cupid bow tho!
I don't Ike it, liner too dark for the lipstick, they just don't match or blend well. I don't care for the fill of the cupids' bow ..just looks too fake to me, but everyone likes what they like..try posting a photo lining your own lips without the cupid bow fill in then decide what you like better..
Omg gorgeous đ
Personally I love it. I love the rounded lip shape, coming from someone with small lips and a very prominent cupids bow.
Idk what the comments are talking about I love the look of this picture AND the previous one. If you like to put Lip liner over your cupids bow you should do it donât listen to anyone else đ
YOU ARE STUNNING!!! I think the lips look perfect and I liked the filled in cupids bow!!
Donât fill in your cupidâs bow. Softer highlighter. Use thermal water at the end, I found it gives the whole look a refreshed kind of feeling.
I think you look amazing in both posts. Can I ask what you use to shape/fill your brows? They look so good!
1. Absolutely beautiful. The lips look great 2. You could absolutely pull off not covering your cupids bow - very pretty miss girl. You do you â„ïž
I'm on team no lining of the cupids bow. I agree with another commenter that the nose highlight is just a bit too much. You are stop traffic beautiful. You don't need the exaggeration.
Bad
The filled in cupids now looks bad. I've never seen it look good on anyone, it just has that "I never learned to color inside the lines" energy.
I canât wait for the covering over of the Cupidâs bow trend to end.
The first thing I saw was brown lip liner above your upper lip. Lose the brown lipliner. The trend is going to end eventually.
I just know this is gonna end up on the snark.
Bruh your appearance is just OP with makeup, looks fantastic!
You look like mirage from the incredibles! Gorgeous!
IF you're aiming for the joker look, you're almost there.
It looks better blended but it still looks like youâre over lining your lips. I see lots of people doing this. Not sure why. People like Kyli Jenner, I assume, are the reason. But I could be wrong.
Really??
Use it.
Yeah, no, that definitely wasn't what the prevailing advice was...
Your lip liner is still too dark as it does not match the lipstick. Plus youâve over lived the lips.
Just curious, why did you overline your cupids bow?
Got that Grinch smile
You donât need it. Also itâs not a good match.
You are beautiful! I think itâs too dark looks like mustachios. How about just gloss is good
You have a beautiful lip shape, next time you should try not covering your cupids bow đ
I actually feel like your lips would look nicer without the liner! It covers the beautiful shape.
The liner doesn't look blended at all. There is almost no change from your original post.
I agree on the cupids bow thing but youâre super attractive in the face
The heavy eye liner and over lined lips is aging you.
You're beautiful! Makeup looks great except for the liner. Don't use it. It still looks a bit jarring
No
Looks great! Persona I would go a bit easier on the philtrum area.
You are a beautiful girl, but I'm not a fan of this.
Itâs out of the lines on the top. Looks like you drank red kool aid. Just follow your real lip line.
Anyone else notice the 2x4 of a nose happening here.
Wow, but yes stop hiding the bow bro
Personally, donât cover your cupids bow and donât over line your lips. Makes girls look like the joker.
Are you asking because you know it looks weird, right?
Respectfully, the overlining looks tacky; it's not just on you, it looks tacky in general and even on BeyoncĂ©. It would look so much better if you lined your lips without overlining and showing your natural cupid's bow. Otherwise, it would look beautiful đ
Can you do another version where you implement *both* suggestions? Your cupids bow is so gorgeous, it seems like such a shame to over line it like that. Kind of reminds of... just took a giant bite of a chicken wing and smudged but oooohh weeellll.
Gorgeous. But don't over line your cupids bow. You have beautifully shaped lips. Don't hide them!
You missed the v in the top of your lips. Itâs well defined. I donât need to make a straight line. It doesnât look good. It looks like you didnât look in the mirror because of the obvious cupids bow that youâre drawing over. Maybe use a color that matches the lip color. One is pink the other is brown.
I cant tell the difference.
That smirk though⊠*you look like the Grinch*⊠Iâll see myself out lmao
Alright so clearly people cannot take the hint that OP has a stylistic preference for over lining her cupidâs bow đ I think you look beautiful OP! Maybe you could try a lip liner thatâs a tad lighter to soften the line? Either way, if I saw you in person I would probably just think âthat girl is so prettyâ
I have a cupid bow too , i like to cover it and btw u look so beautiful allahumabarik đ
Youâre so gorgeous wow like a real life Pocahontas Disney princess omg
I really really dislike the overdrawn cupids bow. Yours is naturally a gorgeous shape, donât cover it!! đȘ
