Chandran ( Jagadish ) - Falimy : In 90s when I was a kid, me and brother used to travel in train with my uncle from Kozhikkode to Trivandrum. He was like this. Get down at every station, drink a tea or smoke a cigarette, not even worrying about us kids in the train. Then slowly walk back and get in the train as it starts to move. Exacly same as Chandran in Falimy.
Satyam! Same like My father’s brother. Exactly like this. He also had this miraclous way to somehow get alcohol from any station back in the day. Which used to piss off my “kudumbathinde nalavanaya sreeramachandran” achan. Slowly walks upto the train or bus. Chaya kudichu enganayo fit aavunne eeka manushyan my uncle. Unlike dad he used to be a blast with us kids and took us to films and made sure we were interested in literature and science and was skeptical and questioned everyone if needed. Was a good soul few people understood him least of all his own brother and family.
Illado he passed away during covid. He had a good life. For his siblings he may have been not conventionally thr success story that they were but he lived life on his own terms wasn’t jealous of anyone and to be frank probably his children love him more than the rest of our cousins with our own dads. He wasn’t the typical boomer. Should’ve been our generation paavam. Anyway he lived and breathed his Science books and Shakespeare sonnets and his XXX Rum and Chaya paripavada till the end. Oru original piece that one was.
I have an uncle who I think could be Georgekutty if the situation arises.
Just 12th pass, runs a small shop, lived in our town his whole life, but incredibly smart, wise and calculated. His takes on politics and events would make most people rethink their stances. Even my well-educated relatives turn to him for advice when needed.
Even had a Georgekutty type incident, when one of my cousins got into a group fight gone wrong with a person ending up with a severe head injury. The cousin was 1st accused in attempt to murder, the uncle casually hid him in multiple places that even his parents didnt know. The police could never catch him at that time even after questioning everyone associated with him, and when things cooled down the cousins family paid off the injured boy.
probably not what the OP expected when they posted this :)

I knew a giri Rajan kozhi from my 9-10th standard. He literally talks only about his Saudi life.. until a few of us decided to make fun of him. Eventually he understood his flaw and became normal, but damn when this character was shown in the movie Premam (I was with a friend who studied with me) it instantly activated the flashback

Dude did nursing, never worked in that field or elsewhere, been jobless ever since graduation and yet not willing to work in the same field but now trying to get abroad by marrying a nurse, but not getting any proposals since he’s jobless. Nandu from Trishanku- my dad
The mannerisms, sadacharam and style of speaking, I'm convinced Arjun ashokan's choriyan uncle is my dad in 20 years.

Bruce wayne (Christian Bale), literally me.
Byju from Rakshadhikari Byju - the movie is so relatable because I grew up around several Byju type annans in my locality during the 90s - and most of them were really good folks, caring for the young folk in the neighborhood. And all of us kids used to like hanging out with them, bantering them, club paripadi etc.

Parukutty Amma and Karthyayani Amma, the servants in Nandanam. The paradooshnam parayal and negative outlook to everything is something I see quite often among boomer uncles and aunties.
Mohanlal’s character in Thanmathra (before the onset of his Alzheimer’s) is almost exactly like my uncle. So similar that I cant watch that movie again because of what eventually happens to Mohanlal’s character.
Joymon(Basil) from Janeman
My cousin brother calls his friends a day before his birthday to tell them it is his birthday tomorrow so that they could put up stories about him

From nanban movie- One of my classmates in school days. Veetile closetinte brand etha ennvare chodhichu🫠
My college professor who was also the HOD of our department was exactly like Ravi Padmanabhan from Thanneer Mathan Dinangal. Some of my friends even pointed out this when Thanner Mathan was released.

Sachin from Premalu is literally me.
My father called me as soon as he saw the film, and told me he's just like you. Carefree, no tension in my career, and stuff.
Also that "Beena teacherde mon ellaam padichu, penpillare valakkaan ozhich!" dialogue was soo striking! (Beena teacher alla, Geetha teacher aanenn maathram) 🌚🚶🏻♂️

kasi from npcb, people who are always on their motorcycles
Jayaraman from Oppam - not the fight part or physique
He is blind and walks with stick in hand, never saw him using it,
He walks to our small junction from his house and knows where exactly he is standing, identifies human presence, identifies people with their sound
https://preview.redd.it/5dt0iejpdiyc1.jpeg?width=2556&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=903f3c96adb99b00876de56c012a4c0fa49289dc
Probably Dileesh’s character in Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu is relatable to many NRIs. You could literally feel an NRI’s pain when he said " Njan vicharichu njan aanu lokathile ettavum happy man ennu, pakshe athoke enthu happy". Baiju’s life is something every NRI dream to live someday ( or probably relive, as they might have lived it already)

My cousin brother. He was exactly like Fahadh’s character in diamond necklace. The guy who had a good life and career in the Middle East fell in love with a foreign woman( I’ve heard tittle-tattle that she was a stripper/hooker) who took off stealing everything from him.
I was the Sachin without a friend like Amal. I guess most of us can relate to this

Arya from Kirik Party.
This is me. When this movie was released, i was studying in Mangalore. My classmates who watched this movie used to tell this girl is literally you. You should watch this movie. So i watched this movie due to the pressure. Yeah this is that one character that resonates with me.

The paradooshnam parayal and negative outlook to everything is something I see quite often among boomer uncles and aunties.
That characterisation was nothing short of brilliant
I know a Matthew Nainan Koshy ☠️
Dulquer in Kali was me.
Same
Mohanlal’s character in Thanmathra (before the onset of his Alzheimer’s) is almost exactly like my uncle. So similar that I cant watch that movie again because of what eventually happens to Mohanlal’s character.
Malgosh from MFI is Literally all my friends😂

Neyattinkara Gopan from Aarattu, I see such people every single day. They often conduct concerts to take down enemies. Such a realistic character
Joymon(Basil) from Janeman My cousin brother calls his friends a day before his birthday to tell them it is his birthday tomorrow so that they could put up stories about him

My dad - superman 🥹 No, but seriously Hannibal lector - my ex

The papen from Thanneermathan (Mathew's appan). Lived in that small circle and anytime opens his mouth to boost self. With extreme badayis.

This is me fr
Jayaraman from Oppam - not the fight part or physique He is blind and walks with stick in hand, never saw him using it, He walks to our small junction from his house and knows where exactly he is standing, identifies human presence, identifies people with their sound
Durantham Shaji. 🙄
https://preview.redd.it/5dt0iejpdiyc1.jpeg?width=2556&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=903f3c96adb99b00876de56c012a4c0fa49289dc Probably Dileesh’s character in Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu is relatable to many NRIs. You could literally feel an NRI’s pain when he said " Njan vicharichu njan aanu lokathile ettavum happy man ennu, pakshe athoke enthu happy". Baiju’s life is something every NRI dream to live someday ( or probably relive, as they might have lived it already)
Nelson 😂😂😂

The guy who had a good life and career in the Middle East fell in love with a foreign woman( I’ve heard tittle-tattle that she was a stripper/hooker) who took off stealing everything from him.
Wait in this movie Arun was being selfish and unfaithful towards the women characters. And his fall was due to his own antics, right?
My wife's father,in case of beedi and attitude!
![gif](giphy|qrIlvM63x7x9IjrHw1|downsized) I’m literally him
I was the Sachin without a friend like Amal. I guess most of us can relate to this https://preview.redd.it/xfqz3d307fyc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e353235c564549a48aa3fa3dec5fb1d4175792e

Please remove the post if it's not allowed. Arya from Kirik Party. This is me. When this movie was released, i was studying in Mangalore. My classmates who watched this movie used to tell this girl is literally you. You should watch this movie. So i watched this movie due to the pressure. Yeah this is that one character that resonates with me.
ran vijay from animal. any questions bitch?
