If they have the guts to nerf battle bond and protein, they can make the megas balanced as long as they give the underpowered Pokemon megas instead of the already good ones.

That does makes sense. It would be unprecedented for them to not have the new generation's battle gimmick not be usable for a portion of the game though. Not unwelcome in my opinion, but I doubt the Pokemon company will do it.
Honestly if they do a dlc I would love if they let us use the time machine. Like how we got to go to ultra space in us/um. Let us go to the past or future and catch paradox pokemon in past/future paldea
I don't wish to step on your dreams, but based upon the already present limitations of the software and system, it seems highly unlikely unless they were to release a more finalized version for the next console.
1.pokemon scarlet and violet is a bad version of a good game,it should not have been released in the state it was in plus the game does have some problems outside of it's unpolished nature but there's more good then bad
2.there is not going to be kalos dlc with megas,stop setting yourselves up for disappointment

Honestly can we stop asking for megas. They had their time in the spotlight, were in sun and moon plus the remakes. Hell, they were in the remakes of those two generations. Megas were fun yes, but they lasted longer than z-moves and dynamax.
Same with XY remakes, Pokémon Z, or Legends Zygarde.
We could also get more mega forms which would be cool.

It would fit with the idea that Mega Evolution is the method of awakening primal genes and power in Pokemon. Aerodactyl and Salamence/Roaring Moon are examples of this. Though, Mega Evolution could be an incomplete form or a failure, which is why it is painful for Pokemon to become Mega Evolved
