Took like 300 modules but rolled a QE25 railway finally. It was my first time even seeing quad on it on my own rolls after 50-60 so I was very surprised it was as good of a roll as it was… really wanted that 50C but certainly not complaining.
Frankly I much prefer this system of having more modules than cores. Feels more organic just doing events and playing the game getting to roll vs timegated shit
It has proven to be a WAY better endgame game loop for me, personally...
I'm saving a bunch of modules to force me into events since my cores are gone.

Was able to roll a b/ffr/-90w holy fire, B/E/-90weight 50cal and 2 union oe/+acp/wwr so I’d say I got some good stuff but not nearly as close for how long I’ve been grinding pickaxes 😭😭but did get some nice appeal for trading
Haven’t rolled anything yet. Just farming away. Instead of suffering through RNG I’ve just straight up traded picks for god rolled weapons. Even a couple hundred picks for a god roll is only like 1.5 hours of farming for me. That’s nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I’ll be keeping a big stash of modules to roll SS armor though to try and get some UNY/WWR pieces.
This isn’t a pickaxe thing but I was rolling for QE25 railway and got Q2525 railway (25fr and 25ap) and tried to trade it away for a QE25. About a week later though I found out it was a groll and worth more than a QE25 railway 👍🏻

rolled holyfires first couple days then i realised i was wasting all my modules and cores, crafted CE armor rolled it and got like 3 uny/wwr pieces sold for 1.2-1.5m each got everything i needed.
with in 400 modules i got a q2525 railway… then later that day i grabbed 4 picks then with 8 modules rolled a q50c25 then after that probably another 400 modules and haven’t seen another quad
Q E 25 elders Q 25 15r/b2515r fixers and a ton of two star nearly grolls. Full assassin/sent SS, full uny sent/wwr/fdc/junk and full overeaters mixed but with good rolls, almost full sent. Ran out of cores and started on the armours 😂

I rolled a B/FFR/per EPR for a flamer mod I finally found. That was 100 modules. I spent the other 300 crafting SS armor looking for UNY/Int/WWR and closest I got was a chest with UNY/Per/WWR. The pickaxe grind was too boring I couldn’t keep going. I just did a few 3-4 reset sessions through out the week and that was it.
Quad/50c/25ap rail, quad/25/25 rail, quad/exp/break slow rail, vamp/power atk/break slow auto ax, plethora of bloody and quad fixers with good second stRs but bad thirds. Now I have no cores!
Hit the jackpot and got a q50c25 railway, aae25 elders, q50c50bs railway, 2 qe90 railways, q2515c railway, q2515c enclave, and a few other trade only weapons that arent as notable
It's not all that exciting, but I finally got around to rolling a full set of SS armour with all the specific weight perks I wanted. Took 250 modules, but I got it and was finally able to do away with that mismatched crap armor with low durability I've been sporting around for 300 levels.

AA50C25 Holy Fire, Q2515r Railway, B4040 Auto Axe, A lot of Groll Civil Engineer Pieces (none I’ll use myself unfortunately) and a couple others. Still gonna be hunting into the night tonight. Gonna try for a Groll 2515R Holy Fire before it’s patched. Think I’ve only collected & scrapped around 400 picks so far.
Full Unyielding Secret Service, 4/5 WWR, 1/5 Aid Weight Reduction, and 3 are +Intelligence, 2 are Explosive Resistance. Of course I got some other good pieces along the way that I kept, but that's the main set I'm using now. Not sure how many modules I used, I think around 5k.
I'm attempting to roll a Quad Laser rifle. Have done countless rolls daily and haven't even seen Quad yet for a laser rifle. I'm starting to think they took it out of the game lmao.
Berz 50c 25 Fixer which is not what I was hoping for but it did complete my Berzerker Fixer and handmade collection. I may never use it, but I'm happy to have it. I do have a berzerker commando character, it's awesome. Now I've got Ber 50c 15c, E 15c, 25ffr 15c, 50c 25, E 25, and 25ffr 25 of both guns. The 25ffr 15c versions are the clear winners of the bunch. Most of them were drops or from player vendors.
But I was hoping for a V2525 Fixer for my main bloodied commando.
Did one session of axe farming solo, ended up with like 600 modules, didn't really get anything worthwhile, ran out of both cores n mods, couldn't be bothered to keep grinding axes.
I didn’t even hop on to get them. I started playing New Vegas tho. I’ll probably regret it one day but rn this game has its hooks in DEEP. I only get on for dailies and weeklies rn. Not even scrip. 😅

AA and quad are primary prefixes and explosive is a secondary prefix, so yes you can have AA/ E and Q / E weapons . The exception to this is energy weapons. They can’t have the explosive prefix at all.

Currently on plasma caster number 36 haven’t been going to hard as I don’t have hundreds of cores stored up . So far I haven’t got a single one that’s useable.
Nothing good.. Tried to roll a quad railway and a vampire 40 pa chainsaw... The best I've got is a Gourmand 40 power attack chainsaw and lots of trash railways ;(

Why do people call it pickaxe rolls, just cause it's at ruusty pick? I'm carrying about 300 weapons and majority are three stars bloodied anti armor and stuff. I have 1500 modules in my stash and when a new weapon comes out I do a few rolls til I get a good bloodied weapon, which I usually get pretty lucky with so it doesn't take long.
Unyelding, +1 luck, weapon weight reduction ss chest piece, and a unyelding, +1 strength, food chem and drink weight reduction ss left leg. I was very happy with those rolls, as it helped with my set, 1 more to go, and that's the right arm
Overall I crafted with like 3k+ modules and got the following:

Uny/explo/sent RL
Uny/Str/wwr RL
3 different OE/Sent parts

I didn't farm many pickaxes but my first roll yesterday on a Fixer was AA/50c/25Ap! This along with my Railway Q/50c/15vc are my favs - This one I got from Eviction notice and was sooo close to scripping. Unrelated but I got an AA/ex and B/ex fixers, but level 40 lol
Finished last 2 pieces uny/wwr SS set, which was my main goal. B50c25 pc & B50h25, I50cRl cremators. Started oe/sent union pa set, only 2 pieces so far. Out of cores so grinding encryptid w/the troubleshooters set I got while rolling for the oe.
I didn't scrap any pickaxes, not trying to ruin the game, always ends up happening when exploits are involved. I either feel like I cheated or I lose interest.
That being said I'm lucky to have g rolls on my main 3 weapons I use. I just need to rent roll my power armor now and I'm not rushing it
I mean I get it, it's the easy way of doing it and let's you bypass the rolls alotted by scrip limit, but it's still exploiting/cheating and that tends to ruin a game for me personally. It's happened with other games in the past, and im having too much fun grinding/playing this one.
When it comes to modules, it’s hell. One of the worst things to farm and probably worse than getting cores, takes forever to get and no one has the time to run a expedition for like 10 minutes only to get 1 or 2 modules
They just need to fix their script cap IMO. They rain legendaries on your head and then give you no way to scrap them after you hit limit.
They could easily double the scrip cap or introduce a new way of farming cores they way dangerous pastimes gives us kits. They really need to do something about fixing / balancing limits

I craft roll legendary weapons like gauss pistol, plasma caster and other like the to save cores and make scrip if I don't get a good roll.

Nothing good.. Tried to roll a quad railway and a vampire 40 pa chainsaw... The best I've got is a Gourmand 40 power attack chainsaw and lots of trash railways ;(

B/E/25 Fixer, B/50H/25 Fixer, Q/E/90 Railway, Q/E/DUR Railway, Q/25/25 Handmade. Almost 600 modules. Spent another 400 on amour and got fucking nothing but scrip.

I got a b2525 railway, b2515 railway, qe25 fixer, and a v25+1per enclave plasma flamer.
Out of the 1000 modules i rolled i got a uny/+s/sent SS chest piece. Im finally a bloodied build tho
Had a few hundred modules from picks... let's say I have zero new overeater wwr pieces.

Why do people call it pickaxe rolls, just cause it's at ruusty pick? I'm carrying about 300 weapons and majority are three stars bloodied anti armor and stuff. I have 1500 modules in my stash and when a new weapon comes out I do a few rolls til I get a good bloodied weapon, which I usually get pretty lucky with so it doesn't take long.
Unyelding, +1 luck, weapon weight reduction ss chest piece, and a unyelding, +1 strength, food chem and drink weight reduction ss left leg. I was very happy with those rolls, as it helped with my set, 1 more to go, and that's the right arm
I got a full weapon weight reduction Union PA set, AA/50CD/15RS Plasma Caster and 3 solid gauntlet rolls….spent upwards of 1500modules
Overall I crafted with like 3k+ modules and got the following: Uny/int/wwr chest Uny/explo/sent chest Uny/explo/sent RL Uny/Str/wwr RL 3 different OE/Sent parts TS50h25 Plasma Caster, alot of 2* Like B25 Gaussmini or B50 Plasma Caster.
I did 2 rolls and got the best auto axe roll possible.
Decent uny ss set, still rolling for a good b rolled alien rifle, but I've ran out of cores since I've done so many and not a single bloodied in sight

I didn't farm many pickaxes but my first roll yesterday on a Fixer was AA/50c/25Ap! This along with my Railway Q/50c/15vc are my favs - This one I got from Eviction notice and was sooo close to scripping. Unrelated but I got an AA/ex and B/ex fixers, but level 40 lol
On my ver last core, I got a B/50c/25 Elders mark. 25 ffr would have been nice, but I pretty much got what I wanted.

I've rerolled my auto axe a bunch to try to get AA+40%PA, but ended up getting Bloodied +40%PA -90%W on two different axes haha

i keep seeing people say pickaxe, is there a new pickaxe variant that’s really strong for melee or something?
Finished last 2 pieces uny/wwr SS set, which was my main goal. B50c25 pc & B50h25, I50cRl cremators. Started oe/sent union pa set, only 2 pieces so far. Out of cores so grinding encryptid w/the troubleshooters set I got while rolling for the oe.

I didn't scrap any pickaxes, not trying to ruin the game, always ends up happening when exploits are involved. I either feel like I cheated or I lose interest. That being said I'm lucky to have g rolls on my main 3 weapons I use. I just need to rent roll my power armor now and I'm not rushing it
You’ll understand when expeditions get boring
I mean I get it, it's the easy way of doing it and let's you bypass the rolls alotted by scrip limit, but it's still exploiting/cheating and that tends to ruin a game for me personally. It's happened with other games in the past, and im having too much fun grinding/playing this one.
When it comes to modules, it’s hell. One of the worst things to farm and probably worse than getting cores, takes forever to get and no one has the time to run a expedition for like 10 minutes only to get 1 or 2 modules
They just need to fix their script cap IMO. They rain legendaries on your head and then give you no way to scrap them after you hit limit. They could easily double the scrip cap or introduce a new way of farming cores they way dangerous pastimes gives us kits. They really need to do something about fixing / balancing limits
Qe25 and q2515c fixer and be25 railway. 980 modules.
Only farmed about 70 pickaxes or so... Ended up with an AA2515 Enclave Plasma and 2 Uny/Sent Civil Engineer limbs.

I traded. 10k LL3. 2x Red Asylums. Q2525 Fixer. Q5025 Railway. I rolled a set of overeaters SS but various crap 2/3 star rolls. Got bout 400 modules for myself left, too.
i got a q50c25 fixer and b50c15v Fixer
1000 legendary core and 800 modules for nothing. Then as soon as I got 5 cores I rolled and got a Q25ffr25 Railway
Got one AA fast swing 50 slower break since forever on my wall. Occasionally I use it
A Quad/E/25 railway at the second roll and then only good rolls
