I sold a weenie wagon for 3k to hurry and make up for what I didnt have. He also had his base right next to a train station so I could sell a few stimpacks to make up for the fast travel.
Open the season tab in the menu and you’ll see some of the pages have caps as a reward. They can be claimed with the tokens you receive by ranking up in the season pass
Definitely I grabbed the mount when I seen the display bundle one sale. But if people don’t or can’t (which is understandable) want to spend money on the game the in game display cases are definitely the safest way to display our items. ♥️

The paranoid amongst us no longer keep a stashbox, nor any display, within 20 "walking steps," of our vendors...
I used to have the max 4 vendors and at least 6 stash boxes all around my camps.
My displays are ONLY in my shelters, now. No stash boxes at all in my shelters. My paranoia runs deep. Too much time to acquire this stuff to lose it...
Now, I have one vendor area (ALWAYS PUT DOWN AT LEAST 2 VENDORS!!!!) at the edge of my property line, and put my stash box(es) on the other end of the property. Probably aggravates me more than anyone else, but I've now had 2 players say they've lost inventory having them near each other, so I'll just be paranoid and hopefully keep my rare stuff.
i used to to do multiple vendors because I personally get irked if i have to wait in line but I've had a couple occasions where someone brings their alt and they just clean me out before I can react. one vendor keeps it controllable.

Im not disagreeing at all. But there isnt some known pricing sheet to all new players. I probably have stuff overpriced that i think is valuable, and it really isn't. Its hard to know what to price things at when the game doesn't really say how rare it is.

They're hard to see, but you can usually get a couple.
The items are affected by the server. So sometimes you can grab a Radbear, and sometimes not. Sometimes grenades work. Just keep trying.
i imagine he's been farming some of these stuff cuz there are more than one each and if he's smart enough to farm he must be randomly pricing shit to flex or get some one to buy one of them or simply total troll

I did the same back when fash first started year 2 with a death claw mask. I knew it was rare but not how rare and put it up for max caps unironcally, and it sold in like 10 mins. Wasn't until layer I found out that I fleeced myself lol. You live, and you learn.

He was running Atlantic city, I ran about 5 of them with him while waiting for someone to purchase more from my vendor, kinda to help keep him busy on the server. Then when someone made the purchase, I fast traveled to his base and bought it. Then he logged out of the server a couple minutes later.
If you arent investing your caps back into your inventory, it makes no sense. But I will collect High value plans like weenie wagons or Mothman Tomes. Its kinda the only way to store caps. You can also collect Leadership bobble heads, those are considered to be worth 1000 caps each but its hard to find someone selling them.

It always helps to never claim any of the caps rewards in the season, save them so you can redeem them in case of emergency like this
