Im a recovering heroin/cocaine/Xanax addict and I've had some bad fucking times. I've been homeless, broke, dope sick, hungry, tired, I could go on, but never once did it occur to me to pimp out my daughter. People are fucked up.
First off.. congratulations on beating such a horrible disease! &I hear you smh it really bothers me when people are down and out but refuse to give their child to a family member that can provide a better life or living situation for the them! It’s like their pride or jealousy is in the way? I worked with a woman who was living in a tent with her son & addict boyfriend, she kept complaining her sister was trying to get custody of her son🥺🙄 instead she should’ve of been thankful to have a sister willing to step up for that little boy.

Anyway, I had to let my parents get my oldest daughter for a little while, while I got clean. It was the hardest thing I've had to go through so far, but that's what I had to do. I got clean, I have my daughter back and I just had another baby girl at the end of last year. So, I may always get comments about my past but they damn sure aren't going to take my happiness of today. People can be so closed minded. But again, thank you. I really appreciate the acknowledgement.
Yes girl! Good for you. Addiction is no joke and unless someone has personally experienced it they honestly have no right judging. You should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself… there’s a reason a lot of people relapse and for the most part it’s not because they’re bad people. Even mothers make mistakes! We have the most stress on our shoulders and can’t be perfect 24/7. Don’t let a single soul out here make you feel any type of way.. you giving your baby to someone who could give them what they needed while you worked on yourself was the best thing you could’ve done. 🤍
