Abigail is a landmark album. Them, Conspiracy and Melissa (Merciful Fate) are great as well. I get that he is not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you like him check out Songs for the Dead Live (link below). I cannot think of another live album that sounds as good. The mix is phenomenal.

Holy shit, I havent seen this. The fact that they started with the intro to Them and Welcome Home was enough to know it was an badass show. I got to see KD a few years back and this was the stage set up they had. It was fucking epic!!!
Big fan right here! I saw MF two years back, it was phenomenal! Really hoping we're getting new material from them and KD sooner rather than later, I just can't wait!

King Diamond and Andy Laroque were the best. I loved that whammy bar trick that Andy always used. You can hear it on Death's "Trapped in a Corner" and all over those KD records.
I got Mercyful Fates Melissa album when it was first released without knowing anything about the band at all..... bought it for the cover, alone.... was not disappointed. 🤘

My very 1st Megadeth show was the tour they opened for King Diamond. It was awesome! Peace Sells wasn't out yet and they played PS, Devils Island, Black Friday and The Conjuring I think. King Diamond rocked but my buddy dislocated his shoulder in the pit so we had to take him to the hospital.

Yeah love both Mercyful Fare and King Diamond, great musicianship in both bands and King’s vocal, although not to everyone’s taste is badass IMO
