Holy Diver and Last in Line albums are classics. Add in Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Dehumanizer. Hop in the way back machine for Rainbow - Rising and Long Live Rock n Roll. Elf, if you're really feeling curious, but that's more bluesy classic rock. His final album, The Devil You Know was a great finale that should've continued in if he hadn't died. Seriously, hard to go wrong with Dio.
Check out the Joe Barresi Mix version of Holy Diver. It’s a cleaner / brighter remix and you hear a lot more of the overdubs and nuances of the instruments, and Ronnie’s voice.
In my opinion this is one of the Best Metal albums ever. From the music right down the cover art! Dio is a god! I love the stuff he did with Sabbath. I love the Heaven and Hell album he did with Sabbath! I am sure any modern era metal band would list Ronnie James Dio as one of their top influences. Just my humble opinion his vocal range cannot be over looked!

The ablum Last In Line is also a great ablum from Dio. I highly recommend that ablum as well.

Sadly, that was his last great album. At least in my opinion, I guess you could say it was the last in a line of great albums
They weren’t metal, but his first band elf was really good. The only did two albums.
