Old-Marketing3525

Truly a wonderful city. I have lived here my entire life and the city continues to surprise me.

Ordinary-Ad-2312

Gringo o whitexican?

Old-Marketing3525

Nací y crecí en Tepito ¿Eso me hace gringo o "whitemexican?

FlamingTrollz

Human_Disco_Ball

You should…

FlamingTrollz

JTHEMAN57

jaj este wey vive para el hate

Altruistic-Pen9264

Good pictures man, holy fuck congratulations

GlorifiedScorer

You have a great eye and this is a very nice collection. Thanks for sharing!

poka_face

If you liked the brutalist biblioteca Vasconcelos, may I suggest you go to Metro line 12? (if you go 11:00 - 13:00 I think it should be reasonably empty)

madonesx

I love infos like this! Thanks for sharing!

poka_face

You’re welcome mate. I also added my personal station recommendations in another comment if you’re interested ;)

fbarbagallo

Buena data! The whole line? Or specific stations?

poka_face

I haven’t thought about that until now (I primarily use it for actual transportation lol) but here goes my two cents. The “Ermita” trasnfer is glorious IMHO, “hospital 20 de noviembre” is really cool as well, I would also visit “Periférico oriente” which I think is really unique among the elevated stations. While unrelated to architecture, the whole above ground section (culhuacan - Tláhuac) has great views, and “tlaltenco” has a cool “rural train station vibe”. Also, the metro museum is in Mixcoac. (It’s CDMX, you know we have a museum for everything) Hope that helps :D

Kimera225

If memory serves right, Mexico city is the second city with most museums in the world. Paris has the first place with about 10 museums more.

DependentSure4289

Very nice pics.

tlachiquero

Great composition and storytelling, beautiful city 🇲🇽

ADIA2202

Hey man, may I ask which camera did you use? Those are some sweet pics

WanderWorld3

Suadero-d-perro

Nice shots, do you use a filter to edit your photos?

EagleTesticleManiac

Thanks! I edited manually through lightroom

castious

Wonderful photos and perspective

randomstriker

Holy shit, that library is like the fucking Tesseract from Interstellar!!!

Abject_Young_9389

Maybe the Mexican director was inspired by it!

randomstriker

Apparently design & construction began almost 10 years before Interstellar came out.

LUABDL

Your photos are amazing, I haven't had the opportunity to go out to see my city for work and because I don't know much about my city, but your images made me want to get out of my cave. You are an amazing photographer, thank you for sharing your views, they are beautiful. I'm sorry for my bad english i use Google translate.

kar-car

Moved out of CDMX in the early 2000s and this just gave me so much nostalgia. Extraño mi casa :(

EagleTesticleManiac

PoundJunior9597

What filters do you use ? Is there a way I can replicate this with light room?

EagleTesticleManiac

Yes, I also edited them manually through lightroom.

PoundJunior9597

But can you explain how to make a more "dramatic" effect please ?

Dazzling_Stomach107

Sfa90

Good pictures. I love that city. One of my favorites in the world.

Heeeliaz

Nice photos, this is the Mexico we’d like to show all the time. Unfortunately, this photos are just a tiny part of how things are atm. I hope you enjoyed your time in Mexico

koulsoum

Moonman2024

Beautiful.

Uldurr

Dude! Mind blowing pics!

pacosaiso

figuringoutlifetake2

My favourite place in the world 🥹

advictoriam5

I go at least once a year and have yet to go to Vasconcelos. I really need to prioritize it for next trip. Amazing shots, you edit with light room? The film look is dope, I've been shooting film the past year and a half and love it.

TheLeftMetal

Nice pics. Glad to see you didn't used that horrible yellowish filter to make then look more “mexican”.

CaptMerrillStubing

Most pic threads are incredibly average but these are some nice shots OP!

papabearshirokuma

There was a hot balloon festival in course, I suppose. And the salesman sleeping, damn! An stereotypical but we can’t complain when you see one really doing.

tatodschamps0

Bonitas fotos, espero que te largues pronto

NotReallyASnake

Great photos but I wouldn't consider tortas al fuego, the hot air balloons, biblioteca vasconcelos, etc hidden beauties lol
