Planning a VOR flight from the mid Northwest Territories in Canada to the western tip of Alaska. That is my weekend bush flying. Likely in my Cessna 414AW. Can't stop flying her since the sale the other week.

Been flying the Fenix A320. UAL, EWR->PBI->EWR->ATL. Now I’m gonna take a flight up to Alaska to do some bush flying. I like to act like wherever I flew last is where I’m “at” so I always start from there, and if I wanna fly in a new area I take a flight there instead of just spawning.
I suggest using MSFS Map Enhancements. I think either the Google Maps (map) or the ArcGIS don't have as many clouds printed on them.
Have flown from and to, and it definitely lowers cloud printing. You should try that out.
I'm currently doing a 50-state tour in the US with the PMDG 737 and alternating with smaller planes if the leg is less than 100nm. Can't wait for the 777 to drop
How’s the 747-8i? The PMDG 738 is my go to along with the 146 and since I’m on Xbox all this talk of the 777 is making me want to try out a wide body and the 747-8i is my only option (besides the A310 but I’m not too familiar with Airbus). Thoughts on the 747-8i? Worth pouring my time into?
The avionics suite on the 748 is very similar to the 777. It’s a very good cross training if you wanna get a head start on flying the triple. (Albeit the mechanical system are quite different but that stuff is pretty easy since it’s mostly just memorization)
Thanks for responding. That is actually a compelling reason. I’d suspected some similarity seeing as there’s already procedural similarity between the 737 and my one try with the 748 way back. But if the triple and the 748 are similar still, I think this might be well worth my time, not to mention it’ll help me cope with waiting for the triple on Xbox.

Japan airlines 787 routes all weekend as I prepare for the 777. Going to have to save up for the license in APL, but I can just use the 777 on my JAL routes until I get the license formally

I'm currently doing a trip around France and Italy in the Carenado Mooney. I'm a motorsport fan so I've been trying to visit as many race tracks as I can - last night flew from Pescara to an airfield near Imola. Had a look at San Marino on the way, it's a bit unusual to be able to see an entire country from 5,000ft!
Picked up the comanche last weekend so followed the Colorado River through Utah to the Grand Canyon. I was about to do the next leg to vegas and they just happened to drop the vegas update! So flew through Vegas, now making my way down to San Diego. Then probably off across Mexico to the Caribbean
Not my usuall gig but I'ma get in a slower personal aircraft and fly around las Vegas. Can't wait to see it at night and the sphere and Bellagio fountains.
Also gonna download / buy a few photogrammetry improvements for the Seattle Tacoma area so that as well.

Tried to do KLAS -> KMIA in the inbuilds A320 V2, but when I imported my simbrief plan into the FMC, the avionics froze. Restarted flight, restarted game, restarted console, several times, avionics froze every single time. I finally just flipped the route around KMIA -> KLAS and imported the SB and it worked just fine. So weird. The aircraft probably didn’t like one of the waypoints or runways I was using.

I flew a lap all around Miami and the intercoastal. It's kind of my go-to relaxing flight. I'm thinking of hopping on and trying out Las Vegas
Try the Nevada gold rush bush trip. It is relaxing but also very challenging VFR

That sounds amazing. I’d love to fly SKBO more often in MSFS but I can’t stand the bad ground textures with clouds printed on them.
