1. Either be an Olympic level wrestler and do WCAP or get into West Point and get recruited for wrestling. West Point is the Army military academy, so it’s a division one college and that process is the same as any other college. Beyond those two options, it’d just be community level clubs and a hobby after work. 2. West Point and WCAP, yes. Community level, yes but on your own time. 3. WCAP- Olympic competitors. West Point- Other colleges. Club- Idk whoever you want. 4. West Point is a college. WCAP would be hopes of Olympic qualification. Club would just be general fitness and a hobby. Most of the “army athletics” you’re seeing are gonna be West Point, which again is a D1 college. It competes against other colleges and is a part of the NCAA. That’s the football team you see, same with baseball and every other team sport that plays in college

Are you a state placer at least?

Ok-Fail-977

No, and I started wrestling senior year but would need a couple more years to master it. I didn't think you had to be a 1%er to even make the team. It doesn't make sense.

gunsforevery1

You thought it was like highschool and everyone can play ? Lolol

Ok-Fail-977

They aren't talked about much so yes, no one can name a single person

I can name a couple wrestlers I know that are currently on the WCAP roster. They’re at least state champs and placers from high school or one an All American from college.
