This company is run by millennial aged people. From what I have heard they went everyone that works in that office to feel equal.
It also cuts down on the space required as most people are not in the office more than 2 days a week.
I remember my boss having a nice big office and then going in one Monday to find they had suddenly doubled their office space but cutting every office in half.
It’s a race to the bottom, all that matters is your paycheck.
