In bedrock "downloadable free add on" the update gives you a furniture, balloon, mutato and a potato sword.. which gives your sword 10x more damage than regular example: netherite sword (normal) only have 6 or 8 damage per hit while the netherite sword (potato version) gives you 18 damage per hit.
They also gave you a potato armour which is 2x stronger and gives you a poisonous affect near mobs.
I also forgot to mention they have potato bomb.
I really like that potato guardians concept
Like they keep running away from you, but they can shoot while running
So they pile up, the top shoots while the bottom runs away from the player lol
Yeah. Some of the concepts used weren’t necessarily bad, but especially near the end where it’s basically a small slime on crack was more tedious than fun. I do think they could make a good boss if they wanted to and it wasn’t for a joke update.
I fought that boss but didn't care too much for prep so I just cheated in resistance 5 and strength 10
Honestly a fun fight though despite the laser guys. I like it
When mojang adds something it needs to stay fun for at least a couple more years. This was basically an adventure map that's fun for a couple hours max
It's not that they CAN'T add more fun & interesting stuff to the base game, it's that they WON'T because their own socio-political standards are holding them back.

That room to me looks like terraria but 3D for some reason

Yeah after a few hits it gets thorns 10 and the. summons its barrage of minions. It does that 10 times in the fight. It’s more annoying than anything.

Resistance 5 is basically creative without flight and inventory. You get 100% dmg reduction

When the potato puts up the shield, it spawns creatures. You need to kill those to get it to drop the shield.

Not necessarily but what I mean is that mojang can make good bosses if he wants to, not necessarily bosses that spawn with 50 zombies per minute.

Because this is unbalanced chaos with no creative direction and little-to-no playtesting, that they slapped together for a joke update.
Compared to other games, this is simple and easy
but long therm it will simply screw everything and be out of place

That’s what mods are for. Vanilla has to be more carefully done. Also they are literally introducing a new dungeon with new mechanics right now

nope it's because they have to do it for multiple versions and it has to be at least 99% equal to the java version and it has to be approved also
