it's a shame they aren't more common, because their designs are very cool
I have personally fixed this problem for me by living and breeding villagers in a jungle, but yknow, it's still a shame

I lucked out that the plains village I’m posted up near borders a jungle so half my crew have that style. Super rare find I guess!
