I see the player you mean.
((insert player’s name here))?
Yes. Take care. It has reached a higher level now. It can read our thoughts.
That doesn’t matter. It thinks we are part of the game.
I like this player. It played well. It did not give up.
It is reading our thoughts as though they were words on a screen.
IDK why, but I keep thinking of having heavy religious undertones in my Minecraft webseries, I even thought of a scene where the main character goes on a long trip across the desert like Moses.
Minecraft Coding Exploit history lore is amazing.
(still amazed at how you can track anything by just breaking a block and watching in wich direction is dropped)
The beautiful thing about Minecraft is that you make the lore. Even The end poem reflects that. With more recent updates it feels like they're making more of an effort to have the lore make your adventure instead of your adventure make the lore.
im gonna be honest i don't think there's supposed to be definitive lore. i think it purposely gives us an incomplete story to let our imagination fill in the gaps, and anyone looking for the one correct answer is missing the point.
Maybe Mojang hasn’t decided a specific lore or any complicated stuff, but there are tons of hints: the credits poem, all the abandoned structures, fossils, discs 11, 13, and 5, the Warden and the portal, the illagers being rejected by villagers and so on. You don’t put stuff like that into the game and expect people not to make theories
Mojang has literally said that they are trying to get the players to create thier storys for the Minecraft world. So all these objects are vague hints at a lore that we are supposed to figure out, but never find the full answer. Like in real life.
I mean, in real life sometimes we can give actual concrete answers, even if some details aren’t sure. Anyway yeah I got your point, that’s what I meant
No super confirmed lore. But you can infer. Ie the piglins seem to have been humans cursed (probably by Circie) and banished eternally to the nether for their greed.
It's always been like that, at least since the end poem was added.
Wait what? So you are telling me there's an end poem in Minecraft and I haven't seen or heard of it till now wtf /s obv
So you didn't beat the game?
The Joke Is That Most People Skip It
>So you are telling me there's an end poem in Minecraft There's been and end poem since 1.0.1
It says /s
Notch added it in as a joke that was meant to be over the top yet in reality has no significance to anything regarding the game
Mojang has literally confirmed the game has lots of lore lol
Honestly, I belive they did a "let's just add s#!t and people will find some lore stuff in it eventually"
They wanted the game to stay open, so that is basically what happened.
Ya, just it's up to us to interpret it
And people dont believe me and think im ridiculous when i say the game has lore it drove me nuts
I don't think they're saying it isn't canon, but rather that way back to like, alpha or beta days, there wasn't really much more to the game.

Watching Minecraft developing over the years is fascinating.
The lord goes hard watching game theory’s videos and realising how interesting and actually expanded the lore is
Don’t you mean game theory?
Mb
Check out retrogamingnow's theories as well. Theyre quite different from the gt ones and make just as mich sense
>The lord goes hard Was it Zeus
No it was autocorrect
Imo the lore started after dungeons looked like the old indev spawn house, especially with them having spawners inside.
It started (ingame) when they implemented the poem after you kill the end dragon
Yes yes but you’re not gonna convince me that Mitch wasn’t hinting at smth with the dungeons
IDK why, but I keep thinking of having heavy religious undertones in my Minecraft webseries, I even thought of a scene where the main character goes on a long trip across the desert like Moses.
Minecraft has had enviromental storytelling for years now. Its nothing new, but still interesting and fun to see the evolution
Do those images from the bottom even relate to minecraft lore? The fossil one kinda makes sense ig
Not really, they just imply how the lore is now much more than it used to be.
Not really, they just imply how the lore is now much more than it used to be.
Exactly
Intended lore: there will be giants and red dragons!!11!
I'm sick of seeing people overthinking the end lore like how they treat it with other games
Minecraft Coding Exploit history lore is amazing. (still amazed at how you can track anything by just breaking a block and watching in wich direction is dropped)
In fact, the story isn't that new, it's been 10 years since it's been a hell of a lot of history and mysteries.
Thermal Series lore:
Before time began, there was the cube.
This instantly made me think of Transformers
R/siege

The lore now can be very intriguing
Minecraft has lore?
Thank you game theory.
im gonna be honest i don't think there's supposed to be definitive lore. i think it purposely gives us an incomplete story to let our imagination fill in the gaps, and anyone looking for the one correct answer is missing the point.
Wow... Then good now bad....
i dont think you guys understand what the world "lore" means
The game has lore are you even aware of the other Minecraft games?
and once it was really just a sandbox...
True
"Who were the ancient builders ?"

I mean *technically* there is no full answer because they want us to make the story
I mean, in real life sometimes we can give actual concrete answers, even if some details aren’t sure. Anyway yeah I got your point, that’s what I meant
Wow okay you’re stupid I can work with that daddy likey dummy
You heard of Dungeons, Story Mode, and Legends?
No super confirmed lore. But you can infer. Ie the piglins seem to have been humans cursed (probably by Circie) and banished eternally to the nether for their greed.
Bro doesn't know other Minecraft games exist 💀
