I think it’s nice that gaming can allow people to let out their negative energy in a way that really doesn’t mean anything at all beyond the particular game’s universe.
Once you step outside of that universe, you run the possibility of discussing/listening to/debating politics, world issues, drama and the like. Gaming drama is honestly pretty chill if you see it as purely a childish banter never meant to be personal.
I don’t think it’s nice, to be honest I’d rather people focused on the actual issues in life and used the gaming space for genuine escapism rather than also dragging it into the muck with weird quasi-political negativity and drama because it’s easier than arguing about real problems.
All it does is turn gaming communities into worse places while doing nothing to solve or help cope with real issues.

I've seen so little of the memes toting one edition as better recently and so many memes of this type posted that I think we should ban these as well. The other ones are already banned (which you can tell by checking the rules)
I agree that there should be more memes about legacy console edition, but I haven’t seen memes like this frequently, and even if there are, I still think this is a message that should be widespread across the subreddit.

No, it's that I've played bedrock for YEARS and it hasn't fixed numerous killer bugs. Sure, Java has some lag issues, but nothing that can't be fixed with mods. Y'know, the ones you *don't* have to pay for? Unlike Bedrock?
It's incredible how Bedrock is on the majority of versions, but is still so bad. Whether it's the fact that we STILL haven't gotten the combat part of the 1.9 combat update, the numerous bugs where you just... fuckin' *die* randomly, or the god awful redstone mechanics that makes 90% of farms completely unbuildable...
I've built entire megastructures on Bedrock, and have easily a thousand hours in the version (not even including Legacy, where I literally *started* playing Minecraft). I had to do it all by hand, because... what farms am I even going to build?
Shit, my sheep won't even stay in their pens because the loading time, for some ungodly reason, makes it so that while loading the world they can walk through the fences and escape. Literally every time I log onto my main survival world I have to run around killing sheep that are just... wandering around. I've checked and rechecked the fences, there are ZERO exits, and the sheep don't escape during actual play, just when loading the world.
It's a less featured more monetized and extremely buggy version of Java that brings NOTHING new to the table. Oh, I guess you can push chests with pistons, so I guess that makes up for everything, right?

It's not superior in All Ways only Most ways. Bedrock does have advantages like being faster and having proper WAN multiplayer
