I need faster healing on Bedrock edition. I love everything from the combat snapshots, but the new healing is required to make survival actually fun. It takes so long to heal on Bedrock.
I've recently been playing the mobile version with a Gamesir X2 Pro. Unfortunately there's a bug with the triggers double pressing, but I still prefer this to the touch controls. I just can't get used to them.
Drinkable potions are supposed to stack up to 16 in the combat snapshots. Healing is supposed to change to heal half a heart every 2 seconds rather than 4 and it heals until you have 6 hunger points left as opposed to stopping after you lose only 2 hunger points. I also like how they balanced eating by making you get interrupted if you take damage during the eating animation so drinking a potion being quicker and has less time to get interrupted.
I actually like having eating get interrupted. It means you can't just eat during a fight and you need to find a time during a fight when eating would be safe to do.
Also they did remove the faster healing saturation bonus if that's what you're referring to. Saturation only determines how long it will take after eating before your hunger bar starts to deplete. Health potions will still instantly heal you, but natural regeneration is faster and you will regenerate health for longer. Right now you stop regenerating health when you lose even a small amount of hunger so you have to keep eating repeatedly to keep your health regeneration going.
I should note that these changes haven't been worked on in 4-5 years now and have remained in test snapshots exclusively for Java edition. I'm really hoping they haven't scrapped these changes though.
Core devs such as Cojo and Ulraf and even Jeb expressed how they love 1.21 due them loving combat, maybe we can see the combat system with 1.22 or 1.21.x versions

Sounds good. Having the animation stopped seems overkill, but oh well. W8 you mean instant healing was changed to just regen?
