The Beaumont children in 1966

Sevenitta

My very sad theory on this case is that the children went in the ocean, one went out too far, the others tried to help and they were all swept away. I know it’s horrible but I just don’t see how someone could steal three children at once without someone seeing something.

CassieBear1

Their towels and bag weren't found on the beach, and they were seen leaving the beach, so that's a very unlikely theory. The kidnap theory is actually very likely. Arnna had teased her older sister, Jane, in front of mom, about having "a boyfriend at the beach". Mom didn't think anything of it at the time, but after the kids went missing that came back up. The children were seen with an adult man by people at the beach, and they were seen at the local bakery buying food for their lunch. Their mom had sent them with six shillings and six pence, however when they were in the bakery they paid with a 1 pound note (which mom swore she hadn't given them). They also bought a meat pie, which the store keeper said they'd never purchased before (and they'd been there frequently). Someone at the beach also said this man approached them, and asked if anyone had been near the children's belongings, as "their money is missing". The implication could be that this man took their money, so they'd have to rely on him for their lunch and their transportation home. The money that was "missing" was for both their lunch and their bus fare. If the children had interacted with this man at the beach before, and trusted him, it would have been pretty easy to get them all in his car, and driven a decent distance before they realized something was wrong, and he wasn't taking them home.

queenpenelope34

Wow so sad 😞

cozy-inside

It's definitely possible!

Not really a Missing 411 case, but yes, very haunting.

cozy-inside

Happy cake day!

zondo33

two for me - both are strange cases DeOrr Kunz Kyron Horman

UncommonNighthawk

With Kyron it's pretty clear the stepmom had something to do with it. The only mystery is what she did with the body.

gwenie45

https://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMysteries/s/2ciufVBo2r Please read these threads, it's very very clear the stepmom did NOT have anything to do with it. That's an old, tired, debunked theory with no evidence.

Interesting_Yam_2194

I’m off to read these threads now, but who the hell DID do it then? Ugh. This case is so frustrating.

gwenie45

IMHO? The woods. The school is surrounded by deep dense woods and I think he got lost back there. If you look on Google maps, it's crazy how there's like a mini forest behind it in what I had assumed was a suburban area. But I can't know anything for sure and I just hope he's found one day

Interesting_Yam_2194

Do you have any thoughts on why he may have gone into the woods that day?

Nbk420

Baby Deorr comes up regularly in my house.. my wife is from that same valley he went missing.

zondo33

does she think its a strange disappearance? with her being familiar with the area

Nbk420

I’d say yea. It’s a very rural area. The story is so simple.

Worth_Competition863

Yes these two all day, there isn’t many days that go by that I don’t think about Kyron… tomorrow will be 15 years. He should have the chance to rest in peace. What happened to him?

zondo33

young DeOrr - not sure if that will ever be solved with the grandfather passing away. But a very very strange case. wow, 15 years for Kyron. his smile sticks with me. At school too. both just so sad and I pray someday, the truth is known.

MrsRandallFlagg

I remember watching the missing 411 that had baby DeOrr and they were pointing to the grandpa friend being the culprit. Like a week later I watched some show on ID network. The episode was about the same case. In that, they kept talking about how the friend was the only one who cooperated with the police. Both parents kept lying, so much so that 2-3 private investigators quit working for the family.

Neckums250

Bryce Laspisa is one that keeps me up at night.

Spinning4Sanity

Sammme!

leclercwitch

Brian Shaffer. Just disappeared in front of a bar and never turned up. CCTV lost him, he just vanished. Mental.

Spinning4Sanity

Yes, the Brian Shaffer one definitely keeps me up at night.

H3RM1TT

I posted about Brian's disappearance here. It really baffles me. He vanished

Pgengstrom

The ones who came back with amnesia.Especially the ones who appeared to be working, doing what?

RealHausFrau

This one. It, and Asha Degree make me crazy. The fireman that ended 100 s of miles away from the ski lodge he disappeared from is one of the amnesia cases that strike me as so crazy. He ends up with a new iPhone, his hair cut, but yet, wearing ski clothes in CA? I always wonder…was he in ski boots or had he changed into regular shoes? Just nuts.

protagoniist

It’s so weird!

Spinning4Sanity

I need to look up the fireman one. Sounds insane.

beautifulsouth00

"Insane?" Yeah that's what mental health breaks are. That's what a fugue state is, yeah "insane." When it happens to you, you won't like that people call you insane though. Mental health breaks can be over and done and you return back to normal and still everybody thinks that you're crazy from then on if they know what happened, so you keep it to yourself and you don't explain it to anybody. Source- former psych RN. Sometimes people would rather kill themselves than let everybody in their lives know the truth of their traumas. These people came back from that and they survived it and they just don't want to talk about it and people won't let it go.

electricjeel

I think they just meant the story itself and the concept of a fugue state is wild, because objectively it is nuts that the brain can allow that to happen. I can’t imagine they’re just calling someone insane to be a dick

EccentricOtter307

Did you hurt yourself with that stretch? Good lord

Efficient_Weakness67

Smartest RN

RealHausFrau

Definitely….passionate…

CybernetChristmasGuy

Wtf lol

electricjeel

Wait do you remember the one who was working? That doesn’t sound familiar to me and I’d love to read about it

Pgengstrom

Missing 411. Truckers from a study by the FBI are notorios for being serial killers. Maybe for their CDL licensing, they should have a tracker to wear as part of their licensing?

Pgengstrom

Check out number 1, 2 or 3.

whatthemoondid

If any one disappearance gets solved I truly hope it's Bryce Laspisa because that story and situation is so weird. Of course if there are two I hope the other is Asha Degree. My biggest theory is that she was groomed into leaving but.... I don't know.

xpressomartini

I think he was working up the motivation to end his life for hours and then finally did it. But I agree, it’s a huge mystery to me and I really want to know.

nickybourbaki

This has always been my thought too

pktrekgirl

I saw Bryce’s story on Disapoeared. So bizarre. Sadly, I think he drove up in something he wasn’t supposed to see and lost his life because if it. I hope the find him some day. I think another one that is bizarre is that young college student in North Carolina. He got in the bus by campus after seeing his cousin at the bus stop and was never seen again. I can’t remember his name, but it’s so weird to me! How do you go missing like that?

LIBBY2130

that was edward McClain disappeared season 9 episode 11

Confident_Finance_30

Agreed. Asha Degree had to have been groomed by someone either in her church or school.

Primary_Somewhere_98

Karle Guse as featured on Disappeared. Possible sighting on a nearby town. Melody Jones. Trace Evidence 233. Her husband Paul was found murdered in their house and she has never been found. Looks like murder/abduction but no suspects or clues or motive uncovered.

absquatulate20

Katie Guse… I recently found out about this case. I was in bishop for work, my sister called me to tell me about this case and if I’ve ever heard of it. Turns out I was doing work in the same trailer park that she was last seen in right before her step mom picked her up. Creepy little town to say the least

Nbk420

Just to clear up a little misinformation here: She actually wasn’t at a trailer park prior to being picked up, but was actually in the Meadow Creek neighborhood. She was with somebody I know very well before going missing. I believe her stepmom had something to do with it, malicious intent or not.

Primary_Somewhere_98

Do you think she is dead in the surrounding wilderness?

absquatulate20

Honestly, with how desolate it is out there I have 2 theories. I was in town for 4 days, I’m a female and I was constantly watching back since I was alone. There is one main road that goes through the entire town and it’s a traveling road for a lot of truckers and people going/coming to California or Vegas, nevada, Yosemite and mammoth. I think she either got kidnapped, killed and dumped somewhere out there. OR She got picked up and taken out of the city/state and got dumped. I listened to a podcast about it and watched the Dr Phil episode with her parents on it, her dad was arrested a year after her disappearance for domestic violence against her step mom. Her brother also got into an argument with the dad and knifes were pulled on each other resulting in the brother being arrested. Seems like a lot of chaos in the family and I’m not sure of what they say about the dad and stepmom being involved is true but it shows that temper runs between the dad and brother

Primary_Somewhere_98

That's making me think she might have wanted to leave and did get a ride to one of the nearby towns. She seems a bit young to make it alone somewhere else, so maybe she tried to escape and came a cropper. If she is okay you think she would contact her real mum.

absquatulate20

I agree!

Nbk420

Very likely she’s dead and her body was dumped in one of the numerous mines nearby her family home.

Primary_Somewhere_98

Do you think this is more likely than she got lost and died in the wilderness? Apparently, it is a bit remote round there.

Nbk420

No I don’t think she would’ve gotten lost. That’s where she lived for her whole life. I think she died as a result of an accident at home the night she went ‘missing’. She was in the middle of an episode, if you will. She was not in a normal mindset. Someone mentioned some violence in the home since her disappearance, but nobody would even know if anything like that happened prior. To play into your bringing up the remote area, I think it would be easy to dispose of a body in an abandoned mine. Nobody goes in those holes. Whatever happened to Karlie, there hasn’t been any real updates in nearly 6 years..

Primary_Somewhere_98

Yes, although somebody thought they saw her in a town which she would need a ride to get to. But surely she'd have surfaced by now if she was okay.

Nbk420

The Tonopah sighting is hearsay. There’s no evidence to suggest she ended up there at all.

alexaajoness

It’s Karlie lmao everyone is wrong

RealHausFrau

These women abd Asha Degree drive me crazy!

Glittering-Bit3398

Brianna Maitland, Amy Lynn Bradley, Heather Teague, Johnny Gosch

RealHausFrau

I just listened to another review of Amy Lynn Bradley, I hadn’t realized there were so many alleged sightings of her after her disappearance that were considered to be valid by the authorities. Usually I would go to her possibly being killed and thrown overboard in a case like this, but I do think she was probably trafficked.

Glittering-Bit3398

Amy’s case is so haunting to me. To think if she was really taken and didn’t fall overboard is such a terrifying thought. The alleged sightings of her and supposed sex worker photo is so very sad and chilling.

RealHausFrau

It is. I’m not usually a person that immediately goes to ‘every woman who disappeared was trafficked!’…but I think she was. So scary to think that, if so, she has tried to tell people who she was/attempted to possibly get help numerous times and never did get it. That she has been in prisoned for decades. I’m 49 and I know she is at least 5 years older than me, I wonder what traffickers do when the women (or men) get ‘too old’ for their ‘job’? What happens then? Maybe the victims don’t live long enough to see old age. :(

Glittering-Bit3398

Such a sad thought, I shudder to think what happens to the trafficked when they get “too old.” She, like so many others, deserved so much better. I can’t help but think of my own daughters in cases like these.

RealHausFrau

Same, her poor parents must have gone through Hell. I would move Heaven and Earth if my daughter disappeared, and they tried.

Glittering-Bit3398

Absolutely.

sundaetoppings

Amy Bradley almost certainly accidentally or intentionally went overboard herself, with a small chance that someone else overboarded her. Nobody steals an average middle/upper class white 24 year old woman off of a cruise ship who is cruising with her 6 and a half foot athletic brother and father and her overprotective mother! That is not who sex traffickers target! They would never risk such exposure! The only other reasonable possibility is that Amy had secrets and had enough of her overbearing parents and wanted to just live her life how she saw fit and left the ship on her own free will, but then fell into a dangerous lifestyle and met her demise. 💔

RealHausFrau

That’s also a good theory. What do you think of the alleged sightings? Just someone that looked for her? It is true that traffickers aren’t looking to take people who have loved ones or friends watching out for them. I say that all the time to people who panic over traffickers.

UncommonNighthawk

I can understand why people cling to the sex trafficking theory. Then there's some hope their loved on is still alive. It's better than some random event of her getting drunk or tired and accidently falling overboard.

sundaetoppings

I think the alleged sightings were strongly motivated by the very publicized reward money. I don’t think any of them were Amy. For example, a scammer actually had a look-alike woman get fake temporary tattoos exactly like Amy’s and then took pics of her and tried claiming it was a sighting of Amy. There are truly some heartless, soulless people in this world. 😡 The only “sighting” I think has a slight chance of being Amy is the photos where she is posing topless on the bed. The anatomy matches up very well with Amy and even the number of piercings in her ear. Also the areas where she has tattoos were conveniently covered or not visible in her positioning. And the circumstances of it match with her leaving on her own, and struggling afterwards to survive. I still think it’s a very small chance it’s her though. And yes, traffickers are going to target girls and women who are much less likely to be missed. 🥺

RealHausFrau

Yeah, that scammer was a piece of trash. Who in the hell could do that to grieving parents?! What do you think of the one from the soldier at the brothel?

sundaetoppings

I can’t imagine anyone holding her against her will would allow her to be visible to, let alone have access to, customers who might recognize her or just be willing to help her, which could start an avalanche of problems for the captors. It’s not impossible that it was Amy he saw if this really happened, but I think it’s extremely improbable tbh.

LIBBY2130

why did that workers story not match the time line? why did the professional pics the cruise line takes ..all of her pics disappeared? a lady testified that she saw a worker take amy up the employee elevater

xpressomartini

IIRC, Amy Lynn Bradley was known to be hungover and puking off the balcony when she disappeared. Her dad heard a loud noise and woke up to find her no longer on the balcony. In my opinion, based on that alone, there’s no other plausible conclusion than that she fell overboard while puking.

frenchmoxie

Oh wow I didn’t know about this part! Definitely makes me think that she fell over. So sad.

MinxManor

His hunting buddy heard a noise and described it as similar to a car door slamming. It led me to think that he might have been caught by a bear trap or fallen into a pit trap.

Upper-Ad-1787

Hey so Martin Groves claims to have heard the very same noise in an encounter with cryptids in land between the lakes

MsMercury

Wasn’t it someone’s property line (like the mayor, the sheriff) that was on the backside of that property where people liked to hunt. This made him mad and he threatened people on multiple occasions.

CronicaXtrana

First time I hear of this. Paulides never mentions this in his documentary, but it could provide an explanation for what happened.

MsMercury

I need to refamiliarize myself with this case because it’s possible I could be thinking of another case and I’m getting them confused.

CronicaXtrana

The documentary “Missing 411: The Hunted” spends a significant time on this case and goes to the location.

MsMercury

Thank you. That’s a good one. I need to rewatch it.

You should check out the subreddit, [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/comments/zq1y9h/tom_messick_case_reality_check/), on this incident. Paulides' film is kinda cringe.

Definitely the Springfield 3 ... this one completely has me puzzled !!

farmerswife2018

Bryce Laspisa...I feel like there is something we don't know...something his parents aren't saying. After his strange behavior in the days prior, how do you not go to the place where your 19 year old kid has been sitting in his car for 12+ hours? Especially when he has no explanation for his behavior. It seems like the Mom is withholding info...trying to save face for some reason. Brian Shaffer...WHERE IN THE HELL DID HE GO?? Also.. Steven Koecher. My heart broke for him with his struggles.

stargazer_nano

Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon Juan Perea y Monsuwé is highly intelligent and discusses the facts and details rather a widespread misconception about the disappearances

I almost forget about this case, a while ago I was scouring the internet investigating as much as I could. This case is kind of bizarre. There won't be much info since she was just a local to me case, but growing up Karen Mitchell disappeared from Eureka CA. It was my first dose of a missing person and there has been no real big movement on the case to this day. Besides a theory that a man in the area may have been responsible for her and another missing person.

kiwi_love777

That one toddler who crossed multiple mountain ranges and was found unscathed.

Solmote

There is no such case. Can you please name these 'multiple mountain ranges'?

Exciting-Author-7477

I think that’s one of the original 411 cases and happened in the 1800’s or early 1900’s ,upper east coast. Multiple Mountain ranges is a little too extreme even for big foot. Lol

Solmote

Bigfoot?

Exciting-Author-7477

The stories that mostly come from missing 411 im thinking , about missing kids claiming or remembering being carried and cared for by bears or a creature that sounds like Bigfoot or something similar and smaller. I honestly hope it’s possible that Bigfoot or something similar exists and it’s smart enough to know to avoid people. Lol

Solmote

Can you list 10-15 of these cases? And how many children do not claim to have been carried?

Exciting-Author-7477

Instead of multiple mountain ranges, there are accounts that include “multiple” large swamps in different directions from a town. I’m pretty sure there were a handful of those stories that were talked about on Coast 2 Coast AM ‘s Missing 411 shows. I’ve heard the same stuff on several Podcast. Killing Missing Hidden has a handful Of episodes going into the Missing 411 skeptically and he broke down a few of those stories. I If you think about it, many of these stories of adults and kids going missing and being found a distance away and either can’t explain it or talk about animals helping them, could be trauma related to a kidnapping, attack and being left in a rugged area to die of dehydration, basically.

Solmote

I have written about kids being found in swamps and walking long distances. Here are some examples: * [When the Missing 411 phenomenon came to Australia: Two young Australian boys lost in the outback in 1925 and 1931 were found forty to forty-five miles from where they were last seen. What happened to them?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/comments/1c9o54h/when_the_missing_411_phenomenon_came_to_australia/) * [Three decades-old Missing 411 swamp cases in retrospect: A boy found in an impossible location, family members hearing nocturnal sounds from far away, and an elderly woman and her two young great-granddaughters walking 20 miles in 24 hours. What happened to them?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/comments/19fexwy/three_decadesold_missing_411_swamp_cases_in/) * [Twelve fateful miles: On this day in 1942, the lifeless and severely scratched body of a two-year-old boy was discovered on the side of a hill in the Arizona desert, far from where he went missing. The disappearance is labeled 'a modern-day mystery' by DP. What happened to young Ronald McGee?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/comments/1anns7q/twelve_fateful_miles_on_this_day_in_1942_the/) * [Is Keith Parkins the best M411 case](https://www.reddit.com/r/Missing411/comments/14b5edj/is_keith_parkins_the_best_m411_case/) Please read them and leave a comment.

ModestMoss

Colin Gillis. Happened in my hometown. Still makes me uneasy thinking about. 12 years, no answers.

Few_Possible_4487

Do you or the people from the town have a theory ?

ModestMoss

I am very good friends with the family. There are some serious working theories that are basically accepted as true by the community at large, but without any substantial evidence and the lack of anyone coming forward, I'm hesitant to drop names and make accusations. I wasn't there that night. I'll never know for certain what happened to him. However, I do not believe that he "got lost in the woods" If that was the case, we would've found him already. The area was COMBED by the community and law enforcement for WEEKS with no sign of his body, which leads me and many to believe that his body ISN'T in the woods.

pattheflash

So can you tell us what the theories are without naming names? So it's thought there was foul play?

ModestMoss

Well, one of the theories that typically floats around town is that a certain group of people hit him with their vehicle (whether or not it was an accident is speculation) and someone in that certain group had a family member in the police department who played an integral part in keeping the details hush hush. How they disposed of his body is also subject to many theories as well. One of them is that he was buried in the foundation of a hunting camp that mysteriously caught fire some time later. Another theory is that he was "divvied up" and put into one of those blue plastic ULINE drums (also probably in the foundation of the hunting camp) It's all very suss and very sad. In the fleeting moments I spent with Colin, he was always very good to me. These are all theories that I've picked up from rumors, as well as online sleuthing. Don't read anything that I've written as gospel. I do however believe that there's an air of truth to some of these details, but the broad picture will always remain uncertain. To make matters more difficult, two of the alleged individuals involved in Colin's disappearance are are no longer living.

alexaajoness

Stacy Arias, the teen that disappeared walking down to a lake to take pictures. All the found was her camera lens cover. The Parks Service told David P he would never get a copy of her file. WTH are they hiding?

AK032016

Once you look into what happened and where, it's actually pretty easy to see how she likely got lost, fell, and was never found.

Ok_Sheepherder7936

Then why refuse to release her file? Also, the Paulides keys are all over this one

Solmote

>Then why refuse to release her file? Contemporary articles describe the area in question as rugged, with "many nooks and crannies someone could have crawled into—seeking shelter from nighttime temperatures—and never been seen." They also explain that "she could have panicked and literally run out of the search area," clarifying that only airborne parties searched the surrounding areas. So yes, searchers could have definitely missed her. Newspapers relay that Stacy Arras had problems at home and in her school, and a boyfriend is also mentioned. If she, her family, her boyfriend, and others she hung out with were looked into, it is understandable why no files are released. It would not be surprising if random criminals and low-lifes living in the area were also investigated in some capacity. Maybe she made it to some trail or road and was picked up by some weirdo. We do not know. >Also, the Paulides keys are all over this one Reality check: there are no Missing 411 profile points. These "points" are just natural and random occurrences in nature. With a large enough statistical dataset, you can create any "patterns" you want. None of these points have ever been empirically linked to any unconventional abductions, instead they all align with people going missing for mundane reasons. It is just DP not understanding how statistics and real research work, which also applies to his fanbase. DP is merely cosplaying as an FBI profiler, it is honestly tragicomical. On page XVI of "North America and Beyond," he openly admits that this is what he is doing.

tinylittlefoxes

They found his body?

kabo7474

There was no body left to find, so to speak. Jason and Gene Owen's dismembered Zebb and then burned him, but fragments were found by LE.

Puzzled-Stranger1658

All of the ones that involve shoes, socks and or feet missing which is almost all of them I know. I think about why when I'm going to sleep and every scenario I imagine isn't good 😕.

Upper-Ad-1787

The old hunter from NE United States Gone in woods he was familiar with. One friend said he heard a loud noise similar to a metal door creaking open. This is odd as Martin Groves who had encounters with Dogmen and Bigfoot at the land between the lakes heard the very same noise .

Garrett Bardsley. Basically every other case, the missing individual was far enough from other people that I can think of several ways for them to disappear, but the small area he went missing in is insane

Brianna Maitland

CalibineRiviere

Asha Degree, Kris and Lisanne (the two Dutch girls hiking in Panama), Springfield Three, Brian Shaffer, Maura Murray… so many but these are the ones I can name right now. David Lewis was later found dead but the circumstances were insane.

Honestly I think a lot of people fall into murder holes, like sink holes but far smaller and harder to spot.

BruiserTom

This is one I saw on (I think) the Maury Povich show about 30-40 years ago (not sure). My memory is not clear on the details. It was about a girl around 16 and a boy probably around 10-12, a white van, and a photograph found in a parking lot of the two kids bound and gagged in the back of a van. I don’t remember if they knew who the kids were (I think they did), but as far as I know they were never heard from again. I got to wondering about it a year or so ago and did a web search to see if I could find something on it. I don’t remember how or where, but I found the photo but no article. Does anybody know the incident I’m talking about?

Solmote

Tara Calico.

BruiserTom

That's the one! Thanks. I got "van" wrong, and probably "Maury Povich" too. I'm not a big "missing" fan, as you can probably tell. I'm more of a casual watcher of general crime shows, and so end up incidentally watching missing person shows too. But that one always bothered me. Now I have the victims' names to put to the image.

CommissionUseful9824

The Daniel Robinson case really creeps me out. You can tell he was slowly having his mind taken over by aliens. As is the case with many Missing411 cases.

No_Gate_653

Can you elaborate on their minds being taken over? Are you suggesting that some of these missing 411 cases are actually people just walking off entirely out of their senses wherever the aliens seem appropriate to abduct them at or something else?

Solmote

Since it appears you have not looked into these missing persons cases, there are no examples where the evidence even remotely suggests a person's "mind" was taken over by interstellar sightseers.
