They finally hired some proper animators, other than their Chinese sweatshop workers doing it on the sidelines

anyone else got Witcher 3 vibes? Good to see that the animation has increased a lot, except for the last shot, that shit reminds me of the King Ghidorah meme.
After the rumors that I see here of Tencent, the company that owns a stake (or had already bought) of Riot, is now owning Moonton, I have a feeling that the animators from Riot was given the task to atleast oversee the videos being made by Moonton with how good it is rn...
It's a theory but who knows, it might be true.

sorry but Bytedance won't sell moonton to anyone. Also Bytedance is about 220 billions net worth company which is on pair with tencent.May be they started investing in mlbb?
I mean business is business I guess. Even if it's a rival company, getting stocks on them is a nice investment.
I just hope that things go smoothly for Moonton because Riot's been doing alot of bad moves as of now..
It was a rumor, but it was pretty clear from the start that MLBB won't be sold so easily to Tencent...or that ByteDance would give up on Mton/MLBB (considering MLBB's overall Esports buzz lately).
For context, Moonton's CEO literally got some beef with Tencent, or the other way around, actually.
And if MLBB/MTon were to be bought by Tcent, Tcent would probably just kill MLBB off by sending in some ass publisher like Level Infinite to overseer MLBB like how L.I. did shit with Arena of Valor's non-garena clients.
I had a feeling that MTon wouldn't be willing enough to cooperate with Tencent, which in mind has had a history.
Also, gaming took quite a hit in China just not long ago, hence to why the speculations riled up, and the "momentary" fact that ByteDance gave up on Gaming just not long ago, but suddenly had "post-nut clarity moment" that they shouldn't, since the only publishers they're behind are NetEase, and Tencent...
Honestly, it would be weird af if ByteDance actually 100% gave up on the gaming sphere, coming from me, it would be disingenuous on their end, imo.
Also...Riot just went through a huge layoff session just not long ago, and some of those who got laid off were one of their veteran story writers and veteran old-schooo animators (it isn't likely they're at Mton after that layoff).
And Riot removed Riot Forge (their Indie space), which made a lot of people genuinely pissed at Riot, considering Riot said they'd have a larger budget, but turns out cutting corners is = larger budget (kidding).
Take this observation with a huge amount of salt, I was being sarcastic on some bits.
Tbh, after what fiasco Riot has done currently, I won't be surprised if former employees of Riot and a few from Riot Forge would try their luck at Moonton. After all, they're the current rival for dominance in the mobile MOBA in SEA which is quite profitable.
The dream of seeing Riot and Moonton together ina single company will not happen but, this would make things interesting after that layoffs. I won't be surprised if ML's Lore, hero deisgn and skin design gets alot more drafts all of a sudden that looks good and not just white and gold chroma number 4788 on a very distinct asian outfit number 1087 on a hero that's not demon (because most skins made by MT had demon skins for demons and non demons with divine and or holy stuff while in the realm of either asian or medieval, which is a given but they could've given us the human Dyrroth skin as a elite or something).
it won't happen many that got fired are from LA and the only one that probably would join are the ones that are ok to move to China or the Chinese employees that got fired. But it won't bring some improvements if we gonna keep seeing the same thing
It could only happen when a good chunk of community starts to complain but since it's only us they would never hear us. That Lawsuit was a miracle for once they brought some new stuff but ended up doing the same things again
I think that's part of its charm? Though I agree with you, Moskov in general in the trailer is hella off in comparison to the rest of the background chars and the whole atmosphere itself.
Then again, it is a skin that actually looks great.
Holy holy holy holy hell this doesn't even look like ML
Hope they like make some short animation series based on some skin series like the aspirants/blazing bounties/etc
Bro is it me or the aniamtion quality increased alot π
dota animation (or is it LoL)
One more thing to improve, their voice actors
For a moment, it felt like something out of Red Dead Redemption 2, ngl. The motions are pretty smooth.
They going places with that animation quality
No wonder the balancing and matchmaking this season is so shit, they spent all their resources for this animation lmao
Looks like witcher 3 trailer
On god
That fat guy is hella tough
Also, genuinely speaking, he actually looks pretty cool.
Fat guy animation quality > Mosko skin
True. They can make it Leomord skin (he even has a horse), Iβd buy that.
Damn, Leomord really let himself go after the nerfs... π
Lmao this made me choke
Bro even turned to a Spanish conquistador for this.

Ironic, trailer: takes out an entire army. in game: +8 basic atk
at first i thought this was a diablo trailer wow the cinematics has improved a lot
Everyone praising the animation. ππ€π€©π₯³ Yeah, players are gonna pay for this. Multiple skin releases and all that. Moonton please invest in better network infrastructure to alleviate the pains of your horrible matchmaking algorithm. And no, nerfing wanwan or revamping masha for the nth time ainβt gonna fix it π
wanwan is still fucking broken

Looks good but The two dragons really are out of place on this one. It makes the skin bad.
I think that's part of its charm? Though I agree with you, Moskov in general in the trailer is hella off in comparison to the rest of the background chars and the whole atmosphere itself. Then again, it is a skin that actually looks great.
It will be funny if the dragons on his shoulder are just static while moskov is rapidly throwing his spears
his heads are animated in the game and they sometimes fight each other
they better make trailers as epic as this for legend skins
I thought it was a legend skin
i thought this was gonna be a meme or something rofl. The animation is so different from your standard mlbb trailer. Looks like a PS4 game cinematic
Holy holy holy holy hell this doesn't even look like ML Hope they like make some short animation series based on some skin series like the aspirants/blazing bounties/etc
Animation reminded me of Jibaro. Idk about the storytelling, but that level of animation is fire.
I nearly thought there was a new love death robots
Same and I've been wondering it was a meme for a second
Am I the only one who thinks a show with this animation quality would be a banger.
Moskov's hatred is so high, he wants to go 1vs1000 π (and still wins β οΈβ οΈβ οΈ)
He is broken, nerf him.
I actually though it was a joke until he showed up wtf
Plot doesn't make sense but I gotta say quality got an huge improvement
This skin should be Legend lol
I thought it was a zombie apocalypse movie trailer or smth at first glance. well made
an entire rendered cinematic dedicated purely for one skin? honestly, i respect it
A rpg game in the land of dawn would look great imo:(
I'd watch this if this was a 2 hour long movie
They go ham with the character design on this one
This is DOPE
this probably my favorite moonton facial animations
How much diamond will he cost?
Imagine in a real game moskov can take on 5 heroes in the game at once
Trailer looks amazing but I doubt that kind of quality would translate over in-game as well.
