Because she has decent CC, good damage and (mostly) because she's piss easy to play lol, you push 3 buttons and your done is job

Shadow0124

Thanks to her passiv she clears minions fast and can protect the base better than others. She has enough cc and damage.

drneo

A well placed ultimate and S1 can turn battles. And S2 is a powerful nuke if you go damage build. I usually go CDR hybrid tank build. Damage build is more of a high risk high reward style.

ValiantFrog2202

Doesn't even need to be that well placed

-JoyShock-

1. Tank meta is bullied by her cc 2. Well placed ult and stun can make free objective(lord, turtle) 3. Easy to spam skill with cdr build 4. Disable enemy from clunping close and dive carelessly Cons, 1. Hard countered by hero with strong single target( Joy, Nolan, Fanny, Natan) 2. No dash skill so inexperienced Vex user may become offside easily and get pickoff. 3. Lord enable certain hero stack such as Joy and Nolan 4. Highly dependant on team to have a tanky frontliner

Disastrous_Beach4332

People just run a CDR build and spam skills, nonetheless they miss it or not, cuz anyways if they’re able to get a hit, her combo is pretty much deadly

ChocolateGreedy7283

CC-Ult-AOE can kill enemies (especially the squishy ones with ult on cooldown) instantly

Gphalanx

Can Clear minions and rotate very fast. Has 2 CCs and very decent from Early to Late Game. Late Game can just drop Eternal Guard like its a Normal Skill.

Investigator-Rich

Early game she's really good for clearing wave Midgame till lategame she can trap someone with her full combo. Even in teamfight her CC really good with a great damage

supergiganibba9000

In the competitive perspective of the game, here's some of the reasons : Her early game damage is really high, her skills late game are spammable, her ultimate is really tanky and deals high damage, even to turrets, so she can be a massive threat in clashes and also help in speeding up pushing turrets . Her terrify is also really hard to evade for a dive hero like Lancelot for example.

momohiraiiii

1. She can clear minions waves really fast due to her passive. Especially during the first 5 mins of the game allowing her to rotate fast to gank or take objectives. 2. Her ability to defend the base/turret is top tier due to her passsive making minion waves explode and deal damage to nearby enemies. 3. Eternal Guard (ULT): * Can be used to zone out enemies when taking objectives like Turrets, Turtle, and Lord. * It's an AOE CC (Can be use for setting up plays) * Can deal HP based damage (Good against tanky enemies) * It's like a 6v5 team fight. 4. Her 1st skill is also an AOE CC 5. All her skills are spammable including her ULT if you build CDR items. In higher ranks or even in Pro Tournaments, Kadita, Kagura, and Lunox has certain conditions that needs to be checked first before they can be pick. Also, these 3 mages require some sort of mastery. So, they're not recommended unless you have mastery over them. However, Vexana can fit into any team composition and she's pretty easy to use for such a really strong mage. Kadita is often picked against stationary/high ground heroes like Pharsa, Yve, Gord, Xavier, and Ixia. She's a popular picked during the Pharsa/Yve meta. But because Pharsa and Yve got nerfed plus the introduction of Novaria. Kadita also fell off the meta. Kadita has a hard time catching Novaria and it is also hard to bush camp with the vision she can provide. Lunox is a scaling mage. That's why she's often picked in pro tournament either as a Junger or Gold Laner. She needs to farm and need items to be very effective. Kagura is a high risk low reward hero. Sure, she has burst and mbility. But, meta mages like Lylia, Novaria, and Vexana can provide other utilities that Kagura can't provide. Also, low Mythic is like EPIC 2.0. You can't really expect people to be good just because they reach Mythic. Players with even 40-45% winrate can still reach Mythic if they just play enough games. This is due to star-boost and star-protection in Epic and Legend.

reallystupidpotato

apart from her cc as others mentiioned, her ult puppet also provides better utility than other mages during teamfights, like giving vision and poking divers

xazavan002

Burst and CDR. Burst because her main damage skill covers a really large area, very hard to miss. Then CDR, specifically Fleeting Time, so you get to use your Ult a lot more often. Then you can also build Winter Truncheon. Nothing's more annoying than a Vexana summon stomping you while Vexana herself is invulnerable.

Trollingdownvoting

Her terrify is super annoying. Can’t even dive her if you’re an assassin since she will just cc you. Besides her S2 is spammable and does alot of damage

DarlaVanserra

It's because of her CC

Longsearch112

Her first and 2nd is annoying enough
