I modeled briefly, and some of the girls used it as a backhanded compliment when people had unusual looks that *could* be 'vogue.' One of the girls got work with Guess then went on to do runway shows with a slew of other big designers all over the world. She had a huge gap in her teeth, which wasn't conventionally appealing at all. You could straight up stick a coin through it. Imo, she was by no means the most beautiful one there, but she made the most of it and subsequently the most money for a while. She did say she got bullied for her looks when she was younger, too. Some even discouraged her from going into the industry. So, it's not always the 10/10s that find the most success. 🤷🏽♀️ A lot of the 'catalog' models among us got more attention from people and told they were hot than those considered unusual and ethereal enough to be 'high fashion'.

I asked some of the reputable agencies what it entailed to be a model. They wanted to see me. So I made an appointment and walked in. They gave me credible criticism. So start there.

I\`d say those pics are bad and they dont capture you well bcs room light just never looks good... try taking pics with light coming from window in front of you not from behind you. Also flashlight or ring light is good too. If you have camera take pics with it instead bcs phone camera is lower quality only looks better with a lot of light while with camera even less light is enough.
